      <verse number='2'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="4376">sold</strongs>them into the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="2985">Jabin</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3667">Canaan</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs>in <strongs number="2674">Hazor</strongs>; the <strongs number="8269">captain</strongs>of whose <strongs number="6635">host</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="5516">Sisera</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">which</strongs><strongs number="3427">dwelt</strongs>in Harosheth of the <strongs number="2800">Gentiles</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="6817">cried</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>he had <strongs number="8672">nine</strongs><strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><strongs number="7393">chariots</strongs>of <strongs number="1270">iron</strongs>; and <strongs number="6242">twenty</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs><strongs number="2393">mightily</strongs><strongs number="3905">oppressed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='8'>And <strongs number="1301">Barak</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>her, <strongs number="518">If</strongs>thou wilt <strongs number="1980">go</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>me, then I will <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>: but <strongs number="518">if</strongs>thou wilt <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1980">go</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>me, <em> then </em>I will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1980">go</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='16'>But <strongs number="1301">Barak</strongs><strongs number="7291">pursued</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>the <strongs number="7393">chariots</strongs>, and <strongs number="310">after</strongs>the <strongs number="4264">host</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">unto</strongs>Harosheth of the <strongs number="2800">Gentiles</strongs>: and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4264">host</strongs>of <strongs number="5516">Sisera</strongs><strongs number="5307">fell</strongs>upon the <strongs number="6310">edge</strongs>of the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>; <em> and </em>there was <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>a <strongs number="259">man</strongs><strongs number="7604">left</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>Howbeit <strongs number="5516">Sisera</strongs>fled <strongs number="5127">away</strongs>on his <strongs number="7272">feet</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="168">tent</strongs>of <strongs number="3278">Jael</strongs>the <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>of <strongs number="2268">Heber</strongs>the <strongs number="7017">Kenite</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><em> there </em><em> was </em><strongs number="7965">peace</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs><strongs number="2985">Jabin</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="2674">Hazor</strongs>and the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="2268">Heber</strongs>the <strongs number="7017">Kenite</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And <strongs number="3278">Jael</strongs>went <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>to <strongs number="7125">meet</strongs><strongs number="5516">Sisera</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, Turn <strongs number="5493">in</strongs>, my <strongs number="113">lord</strongs>, turn <strongs number="5493">in</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>me; <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>. And when he had turned <strongs number="5493">in</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>her into the <strongs number="168">tent</strongs>, she <strongs number="3680">covered</strongs>him with a <strongs number="8063">mantle</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>her, Give me, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, a <strongs number="4592">little</strongs><strongs number="4325">water</strongs>to <strongs number="8248">drink</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>I am <strongs number="6770">thirsty</strongs>. And she <strongs number="6605">opened</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>a <strongs number="4997">bottle</strongs>of <strongs number="2461">milk</strongs>, and gave him <strongs number="8248">drink</strongs>, and <strongs number="3680">covered</strongs>him. </verse>

      <verse number='21'>Then <strongs number="3278">Jael</strongs><strongs number="2268">Heber</strongs>'s <strongs number="802">wife</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>a <strongs number="3489">nail</strongs>of the <strongs number="168">tent</strongs>, and <strongs number="7760">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>a <strongs number="4718">hammer</strongs>in her <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">went</strongs><strongs number="3814">softly</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, and <strongs number="8628">smote</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3489">nail</strongs>into his <strongs number="7451">temples</strongs>, and <strongs number="6795">fastened</strongs>it into the <strongs number="776">ground</strongs>: for <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>was fast <strongs number="7290">asleep</strongs>and <strongs number="5774">weary</strongs>.
