      <verse number='40'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs>they laughed him to <strongs number="2606 846">scorn</strongs>. <strongs number="1161">But</strongs>when <strongs number="3588">he</strongs>had put them all <strongs number="1544 537">out</strongs>, he <strongs number="3880">taketh</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3962">father</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3384">mother</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3813">damsel</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3588">them</strongs>that were <strongs number="3326">with</strongs><strongs number="846">him</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>entereth <strongs number="1531">in</strongs><strongs number="3699">where</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3813">damsel</strongs><strongs number="2258">was</strongs><strongs number="345">lying</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='41'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs>he <strongs number="2902">took</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3813">damsel</strongs>by <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="5495">hand</strongs>, and <strongs number="3004">said</strongs>unto <strongs number="846">her</strongs>, <em><strongs number="5008">Talitha</strongs></em><em><strongs number="2891">cumi</strongs>; </em><strongs number="3739">which</strongs><strongs number="2076">is</strongs>, being <strongs number="3177">interpreted</strongs>, <strongs number="2877">Damsel</strongs>, I <strongs number="3004">say</strongs>unto <strongs number="4671">thee</strongs>, <strongs number="1453">arise</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='42'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs><strongs number="2112">straightway</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2877">damsel</strongs><strongs number="450">arose</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="4043">walked</strongs>; <strongs number="1063">for</strongs>she <strongs number="2258">was</strongs><em> of </em><em> the </em><em> age </em>of <strongs number="1427">twelve</strongs><strongs number="2094">years</strongs>. And they were <strongs number="1839">astonished</strongs>with a <strongs number="3173">great</strongs><strongs number="1611">astonishment</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='43'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs>he <strongs number="1291">charged</strongs><strongs number="846">them</strongs><strongs number="4183">straitly</strongs><strongs number="2443">that</strongs>no <strongs number="3367">man</strongs>should <strongs number="1097">know</strongs><strongs number="5124">it</strongs>; <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="2036">commanded</strongs>that something should be <strongs number="1325">given</strongs><strongs number="846">her</strongs>to <strongs number="5315">eat</strongs>. </verse>
