Andthey came overuntotheother sideof thesea, intothecountryof theGadarenes. Andwhen hewas comeout oftheship, immediatelythere methimout ofthetombsa manwithan uncleanspirit, Whohad his dwellingamongthetombs; andno mancouldbindhim, no, notwith chains: Because that hehad been oftenboundwith fettersandchains, andthechainshad been plucked asunderbyhim, andthefettersbroken in pieces: neithercouldany man tamehim. Andalways, nightandday, he wasinthemountains, andinthetombs, crying, andcuttinghimselfwith stones. Butwhen he sawJesusafar off, he ranandworshipedhim, Andcriedwith a loudvoice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Sonof themost highGod? I adjuretheeby God, that thou tormentmenot. Andtheuncleanspiritswent out, andenteredintotheswine: andtheherdran violentlydowna steep placeintothesea, ( theywereabouttwo thousand;) andwere chokedinthesea. Andthey that fedtheswinefled, andtold it inthecity, andinthecountry. Andthey went outto seewhatit wasthat was done. Andthey cometoJesus, andseehim that was possessed with the devil, and hadthelegion, sitting, andclothed, andin his right mind: andthey were afraid. Andthey that saw it toldthemhowit befellto him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerningtheswine. Andthey beganto prayhimto departout oftheircoasts. Andwhen hewas comeintotheship, he that had been possessed with the devilprayedhimthathe might bewithhim. HowbeitJesussufferedhimnot, butsaithunto him, Go home to thy friends, andtellthem how great thingstheLord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. Andhe departed, andbeganto publishinDecapolishow great thingsJesushad donefor him: andall men did marvel. Anda certainwoman, which hadanissueof bloodtwelveyears, Andhad sufferedmany thingsofmanyphysicians, andhad spentall that she had, andwas nothingbettered, butrathergrew worse, When she had heardofJesus, cameinthepressbehind, and touchedhisgarment. Forshe said, IfI may touchbut hisclothes, I shall be whole. Andstraightwaythefountainof herbloodwas dried up; andshe feltin her bodythatshe was healedofthat plague. AndJesus, immediatelyknowinginhimselfthat virtuehad goneout ofhim, turned him aboutinthepress, andsaid, Whotouchedmyclothes? Andhisdisciplessaidunto him, Thou seestthemultitudethrongingthee, andsayestthou, Whotouchedme? Andhe looked round aboutto seeher that had donethis thing. Butthewomanfearingandtrembling, knowingwhatwas doneinher, cameandfell down beforehim, andtoldhimallthetruth. Andhesaidunto her, Daughter, thyfaith hath made thee whole; goinpeace, andbewholeofthyplague. While heyetspake, there camefromtheruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thydaughteris dead: whytroublestthou theMasterany further? As soon asJesusheardthewordthat was spoken, he saithunto theruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, onlybelieve. Andhe sufferedno manto followhim, savePeter, andJames, andJohnthebrotherof James. Andhe comethtothehouseof theruler of the synagogue, andseeththe tumult, and them that weptandwailedgreatly. Andwhen he was come in, he saithunto them, Why make ye this ado, andweep? thedamsel is not dead, butsleepeth. Andthey laughed him to scorn. Butwhen hehad put them all out, he takeththefatherandthemotherof thedamsel, andthemthat were withhim, andentereth inwherethedamselwaslying. Andhe tookthedamselby thehand, and saidunto her, Talithacumi; whichis, being interpreted, Damsel, I sayunto thee, arise. Andstraightwaythedamselarose, andwalked; forshe was of the age of twelveyears. And they were astonishedwith a greatastonishment. Andhe chargedthemstraitlythatno manshould knowit; andcommandedthat something should be givenherto eat.
