<verse number='2'><em> If </em>we attempt to <strongs number="5254 1697">commune</strongs><strongs number="413">with</strongs>thee, wilt thou be <strongs number="3811">grieved</strongs>? but <strongs number="4310">who</strongs><strongs number="3201">can</strongs><strongs number="6113">withhold</strongs>himself from <strongs number="4405">speaking</strongs>? </verse>
<verse number='3'><strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, thou hast <strongs number="3256">instructed</strongs><strongs number="7227">many</strongs>, and thou hast <strongs number="2388">strengthened</strongs>the <strongs number="7504">weak</strongs><strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='4'>Thy <strongs number="4405">words</strongs>have <strongs number="6965">upheld</strongs>him that was <strongs number="3782">falling</strongs>, and thou hast <strongs number="553">strengthened</strongs>the <strongs number="3766">feeble</strongs><strongs number="1290">knees</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='6'><em> Is </em><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><em> this </em>thy <strongs number="3374">fear</strongs>, thy <strongs number="3690">confidence</strongs>, thy <strongs number="8615">hope</strongs>, and the <strongs number="8537">uprightness</strongs>of thy <strongs number="1870">ways</strongs>? </verse>
<verse number='7'><strongs number="2142">Remember</strongs>, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, <strongs number="4310">who</strongs><em> ever </em><strongs number="6">perished</strongs>, being <strongs number="5355">innocent</strongs>? or <strongs number="375">where</strongs>were the <strongs number="3477">righteous</strongs>cut <strongs number="3582">off</strongs>? </verse>
<verse number='8'>Even <strongs number="834">as</strongs>I have <strongs number="7200">seen</strongs>, they that <strongs number="2790">plow</strongs><strongs number="205">iniquity</strongs>, and <strongs number="2232">sow</strongs><strongs number="5999">wickedness</strongs>, <strongs number="7114">reap</strongs>the same. </verse>

<verse number='10'>The <strongs number="7581">roaring</strongs>of the <strongs number="738">lion</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of the fierce <strongs number="7826">lion</strongs>, and the <strongs number="8127">teeth</strongs>of the young <strongs number="3715">lions</strongs>, are <strongs number="5421">broken</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='11'>The old <strongs number="3918">lion</strongs><strongs number="6">perisheth</strongs>for <strongs number="4480 1097">lack</strongs>of <strongs number="2964">prey</strongs>, and the stout <strongs number="3833">lion</strongs>'s <strongs number="1121">whelps</strongs>are scattered <strongs number="6504">abroad</strongs>. </verse>
