      <verse number='1'>So when <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>was <strongs number="2204">old</strongs>and <strongs number="7646">full</strongs>of <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>, he <strongs number="4427">made</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>his <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>king <strongs number="5921">over</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And he gathered <strongs number="622">together</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, with the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>and the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>Now the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>were <strongs number="5608">numbered</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 1121">age</strongs>of <strongs number="7970">thirty</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>and <strongs number="4605">upward</strongs>: and their <strongs number="4557">number</strongs>by their <strongs number="1538">polls</strongs>, man by <strongs number="1397">man</strongs>, <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="7970">thirty</strongs>and <strongs number="8083">eight</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>Of <strongs number="4480 428">which</strongs>, <strongs number="6242">twenty</strongs>and <strongs number="702">four</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><em> were </em>to set <strongs number="5329 5921">forward</strongs>the <strongs number="4399">work</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; and <strongs number="8337">six</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="7860">officers</strongs>and <strongs number="8199">judges</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='5'>Moreover <strongs number="702">four</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="7778">porters</strongs>; and <strongs number="702">four</strongs><strongs number="505">thousand</strongs><strongs number="1984">praised</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>with the <strongs number="3627">instruments</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>I <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>, <em> said </em><em> David </em>, to <strongs number="1984">praise</strongs><em> therewith </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="2505">divided</strongs>them into <strongs number="4256">courses</strongs>among the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="3878">Levi</strongs>, <em> namely </em>, <strongs number="1648">Gershon</strongs>, <strongs number="6955">Kohath</strongs>, and <strongs number="4847">Merari</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>Of the <strongs number="1649">Gershonites</strongs><em> were </em>, <strongs number="3936">Laadan</strongs>, and <strongs number="8096">Shimei</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>The <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="3936">Laadan</strongs>; the <strongs number="7218">chief</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="3171">Jehiel</strongs>, and <strongs number="2241">Zetham</strongs>, and <strongs number="3100">Joel</strongs>, <strongs number="7969">three</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>The <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="8096">Shimei</strongs>; <strongs number="8013">Shelomith</strongs>, and <strongs number="2381">Haziel</strongs>, and <strongs number="2039">Haran</strongs>, <strongs number="7969">three</strongs>. <strongs number="428">These</strongs><em> were </em>the <strongs number="7218">chief</strongs>of the <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>of <strongs number="3936">Laadan</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="8096">Shimei</strongs><em> were </em>, <strongs number="3189">Jahath</strongs>, <strongs number="2126">Zina</strongs>, and <strongs number="3266">Jeush</strongs>, and <strongs number="1283">Beriah</strongs>. <strongs number="428">These</strongs><strongs number="702">four</strongs><em> were </em>the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="8096">Shimei</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="3189">Jahath</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs>the <strongs number="7218">chief</strongs>, and <strongs number="2125">Zizah</strongs>the <strongs number="8145">second</strongs>: but <strongs number="3266">Jeush</strongs>and <strongs number="1283">Beriah</strongs>had not <strongs number="7235 3808">many</strongs><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>; therefore they <strongs number="1961">were</strongs>in <strongs number="259">one</strongs><strongs number="6486">reckoning</strongs>, according to <em> their </em><strongs number="1">father</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>The <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="6955">Kohath</strongs>; <strongs number="6019">Amram</strongs>, <strongs number="3324">Izhar</strongs>, <strongs number="2275">Hebron</strongs>, and <strongs number="5816">Uzziel</strongs>, <strongs number="702">four</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>The <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="6019">Amram</strongs>; <strongs number="175">Aaron</strongs>and <strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>: and <strongs number="175">Aaron</strongs>was <strongs number="914">separated</strongs>, that he should <strongs number="6942">sanctify</strongs>the most holy <strongs number="6944 6944">things</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>and his <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs><strongs number="5704 5769">forever</strongs>, to burn <strongs number="6999">incense</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, to <strongs number="8334">minister</strongs>unto him, and to <strongs number="1288">bless</strongs>in his <strongs number="8034">name</strongs><strongs number="5704 5769">forever</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Now <em> concerning </em><strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, his <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>were <strongs number="7121">named</strongs><strongs number="5921">of</strongs>the <strongs number="7626">tribe</strongs>of <strongs number="3878">Levi</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>The <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs><em> were </em>, <strongs number="1648">Gershom</strongs>, and <strongs number="461">Eliezer</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>Of the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="1648">Gershom</strongs>, <strongs number="7619">Shebuel</strongs><em> was </em>the <strongs number="7218">chief</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="461">Eliezer</strongs><em> were </em>, <strongs number="7345">Rehabiah</strongs>the <strongs number="7218">chief</strongs>. And <strongs number="461">Eliezer</strongs><strongs number="1961">had</strongs><strongs number="3808">none</strongs><strongs number="312">other</strongs><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>; but the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="7345">Rehabiah</strongs>were very <strongs number="7235 4605">many</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>Of the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="3324">Izhar</strongs>; <strongs number="8013">Shelomith</strongs>the <strongs number="7218">chief</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='21'>The <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="4847">Merari</strongs>; <strongs number="4249">Mahli</strongs>, and <strongs number="4187">Mushi</strongs>. The <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="4249">Mahli</strongs>; <strongs number="499">Eleazar</strongs>, and <strongs number="7027">Kish</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And <strongs number="499">Eleazar</strongs><strongs number="4191">died</strongs>, and <strongs number="1961">had</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>, <strongs number="3588 518">but</strongs><strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>: and their <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="7027">Kish</strongs><strongs number="5375">took</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>The <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="4187">Mushi</strongs>; <strongs number="4249">Mahli</strongs>, and <strongs number="5740">Eder</strongs>, and <strongs number="3406">Jeremoth</strongs>, <strongs number="7969">three</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'><strongs number="428">These</strongs><em> were </em>the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="3878">Levi</strongs>after the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of their <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>; <em> even </em>the <strongs number="7218">chief</strongs>of the <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, as they were <strongs number="6485">counted</strongs>by <strongs number="4557">number</strongs>of <strongs number="8034">names</strongs>by their <strongs number="1538">polls</strongs>, that <strongs number="6213">did</strongs>the <strongs number="4399">work</strongs>for the <strongs number="5656">service</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, from the <strongs number="4480 1121">age</strongs>of <strongs number="6242">twenty</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>and <strongs number="4605">upward</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='25'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>hath given <strongs number="5117">rest</strongs>unto his <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, that they may <strongs number="7931">dwell</strongs>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs><strongs number="5704 5769">forever</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='26'>And <strongs number="1571">also</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>; they shall <strongs number="369">no</strongs><em> more </em><strongs number="5375">carry</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4908">tabernacle</strongs>, nor <strongs number="3605">any</strongs><strongs number="3627">vessels</strongs>of it for the <strongs number="5656">service</strongs>thereof. </verse>
      <verse number='27'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>by the <strongs number="314">last</strongs><strongs number="1697">words</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>the <strongs number="1121 3881">Levites</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="4557">numbered</strongs>from twenty years <strongs number="4480 1121 6242 8141">old</strongs>and <strongs number="4605">above</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='28'><strongs number="3588">Because</strongs>their <strongs number="4612">office</strongs><em> was </em>to wait <strongs number="3027">on</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="175">Aaron</strongs>for the <strongs number="5656">service</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="5921">in</strongs>the <strongs number="2691">courts</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">in</strongs>the <strongs number="3957">chambers</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">in</strongs>the <strongs number="2893">purifying</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>holy <strongs number="6944">things</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4639">work</strongs>of the <strongs number="5656">service</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='29'>Both for the <strongs number="3899 4635">shewbread</strongs>, and for the fine <strongs number="5560">flour</strongs>for meat <strongs number="4503">offering</strongs>, and for the <strongs number="4682">unleavened</strongs><strongs number="7550">cakes</strongs>, and for <em> that </em><em> which </em><em> is </em><em> baked </em><em> in </em>the <strongs number="4227">pan</strongs>, and for that which is <strongs number="7246">fried</strongs>, and for all <strongs number="3605">manner</strongs>of <strongs number="4884">measure</strongs>and <strongs number="4060">size</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='30'>And to <strongs number="5975">stand</strongs>every <strongs number="1242 1242">morning</strongs>to <strongs number="3034">thank</strongs>and <strongs number="1984">praise</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="3651">likewise</strongs>at <strongs number="6153">even</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='31'>And to <strongs number="5927">offer</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>burnt <strongs number="5930">sacrifices</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>in the <strongs number="7676">sabbaths</strongs>, in the new <strongs number="2320">moons</strongs>, and on the set <strongs number="4150">feasts</strongs>, by <strongs number="4557">number</strongs>, according to the <strongs number="4941">order</strongs>commanded <strongs number="5921">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="8548">continually</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: </verse>
