      <verse number='42'><strongs number="3884">Except</strongs>the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of my <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="85">Abraham</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6343">fear</strongs>of <strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs>, had <strongs number="1961">been</strongs>with me, <strongs number="3588">surely</strongs>thou hadst sent me <strongs number="7971">away</strongs><strongs number="6258">now</strongs><strongs number="7387">empty</strongs>. <strongs number="430">God</strongs>hath <strongs number="7200">seen</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>mine <strongs number="6040">affliction</strongs>and the <strongs number="3018">labor</strongs>of my <strongs number="3709">hands</strongs>, and <strongs number="3198">rebuked</strongs><em> thee </em>last <strongs number="570">night</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='43'>And <strongs number="3837">Laban</strongs><strongs number="6030">answered</strongs>and <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>, <em> These </em><strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs><em> are </em>my <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>, and <em> these </em><strongs number="1121">children</strongs><em> are </em>my <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>, and <em> these </em><strongs number="6629">cattle</strongs><em> are </em>my <strongs number="6629">cattle</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs><strongs number="7200">seest</strongs><em> is </em>mine: and <strongs number="4100">what</strongs>can I <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>unto <strongs number="428">these</strongs>my <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs>unto their <strongs number="1121">children</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>they have <strongs number="3205">born</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='44'><strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>therefore <strongs number="1980">come</strongs>thou, let us <strongs number="3772">make</strongs>a <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>, <strongs number="589">I</strongs>and <strongs number="859">thou</strongs>; and let it <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>for a <strongs number="5707">witness</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs>me and thee. </verse>
      <verse number='45'>And <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs>a <strongs number="68">stone</strongs>, and set it <strongs number="7311">up</strongs><em> for </em>a <strongs number="4676">pillar</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='46'>And <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto his <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, <strongs number="3950">Gather</strongs><strongs number="68">stones</strongs>; and they <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="68">stones</strongs>, and <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>an <strongs number="1530">heap</strongs>: and they did <strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="1530">heap</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='48'>And <strongs number="3837">Laban</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2088">This</strongs><strongs number="1530">heap</strongs><em> is </em>a <strongs number="5707">witness</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs>me and thee this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>. <strongs number="5921 3651">Therefore</strongs>was the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of it <strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="1567">Galeed</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='49'>And <strongs number="4709">Mizpah</strongs>; <strongs number="834">for</strongs>he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="6822">watch</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs>me and thee, <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>we are <strongs number="5641">absent</strongs><strongs number="376">one</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 7453">another</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='50'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>thou shalt <strongs number="6031">afflict</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>, or <strongs number="518">if</strongs>thou shalt <strongs number="3947">take</strongs><em> other </em><strongs number="802">wives</strongs><strongs number="5921">beside</strongs>my <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>, <strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>us; <strongs number="7200">see</strongs>, <strongs number="430">God</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="5707">witness</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs>me and thee. </verse>
      <verse number='51'>And <strongs number="3837">Laban</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>to <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="1530">heap</strongs>, and <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs><em> this </em><strongs number="4676">pillar</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>I have <strongs number="3384">cast</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs>me and thee; </verse>

      <verse number='53'>The <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="85">Abraham</strongs>, and the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="5152">Nahor</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of their <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, <strongs number="8199">judge</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs>us. And <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs><strongs number="7650">swore</strongs>by the <strongs number="6343">fear</strongs>of his <strongs number="1">father</strongs><strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='54'>Then <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs><strongs number="2076">offered</strongs><strongs number="2077">sacrifice</strongs>upon the <strongs number="2022">mount</strongs>, and <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>his <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>to <strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>: and they did <strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>, and tarried all <strongs number="3885">night</strongs>in the <strongs number="2022">mount</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='55'>And early in the <strongs number="1242">morning</strongs><strongs number="3837">Laban</strongs>rose <strongs number="7925">up</strongs>, and <strongs number="5401">kissed</strongs>his <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>and his <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>, and <strongs number="1288">blessed</strongs>them: and <strongs number="3837">Laban</strongs><strongs number="1980">departed</strongs>, and <strongs number="7725">returned</strongs>unto his <strongs number="4725">place</strongs>. </verse>
