      <verse number='1'>Moreover take thou <strongs number="859 5375">up</strongs>a <strongs number="7015">lamentation</strongs><strongs number="413">for</strongs>the <strongs number="5387">princes</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs><em> is </em>thy <strongs number="517">mother</strongs>? A <strongs number="3833">lioness</strongs>: she lay <strongs number="7257">down</strongs><strongs number="996">among</strongs><strongs number="738">lions</strongs>, she <strongs number="7235">nourished</strongs>her <strongs number="1482">whelps</strongs><strongs number="8432">among</strongs>young <strongs number="3715">lions</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And she brought <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="259">one</strongs>of her <strongs number="4480 1482">whelps</strongs>: it <strongs number="1961">became</strongs>a young <strongs number="3715">lion</strongs>, and it <strongs number="3925">learned</strongs>to <strongs number="2963">catch</strongs>the <strongs number="2964">prey</strongs>; it <strongs number="398">devoured</strongs><strongs number="120">men</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>The <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>also <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="413">of</strongs>him; he was <strongs number="8610">taken</strongs>in their <strongs number="7845">pit</strongs>, and they <strongs number="935">brought</strongs>him with <strongs number="2397">chains</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>Now when she <strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>she had <strongs number="3176">waited</strongs>, <em> and </em>her <strongs number="8615">hope</strongs>was <strongs number="6">lost</strongs>, then she <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="259">another</strongs>of her <strongs number="4480 1482">whelps</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="7760">made</strongs>him a young <strongs number="3715">lion</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='10'>Thy <strongs number="517">mother</strongs><em> is </em>like a <strongs number="1612">vine</strongs>in thy <strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>, <strongs number="8362">planted</strongs><strongs number="5921">by</strongs>the <strongs number="4325">waters</strongs>: she <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="6509">fruitful</strongs>and full of <strongs number="6058">branches</strongs>by reason of <strongs number="7227">many</strongs><strongs number="4480 4325">waters</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And she <strongs number="1961">had</strongs><strongs number="5797">strong</strongs><strongs number="4294">rods</strongs><strongs number="413">for</strongs>the <strongs number="7626">scepters</strongs>of them that bore <strongs number="4910">rule</strongs>, and her <strongs number="6967">stature</strongs>was <strongs number="1361">exalted</strongs><strongs number="5921 996">among</strongs>the thick <strongs number="5688">branches</strongs>, and she <strongs number="7200">appeared</strongs>in her <strongs number="1363">height</strongs>with the <strongs number="7230">multitude</strongs>of her <strongs number="1808">branches</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>But she was plucked <strongs number="5428">up</strongs>in <strongs number="2534">fury</strongs>, she was cast <strongs number="7993">down</strongs>to the <strongs number="776">ground</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6921">east</strongs><strongs number="7307">wind</strongs>dried <strongs number="3001">up</strongs>her <strongs number="6529">fruit</strongs>: her <strongs number="5797">strong</strongs><strongs number="4294">rods</strongs>were <strongs number="6561">broken</strongs>and <strongs number="3001">withered</strongs>; the <strongs number="784">fire</strongs><strongs number="398">consumed</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And <strongs number="6258">now</strongs>she <em> is </em><strongs number="8362">planted</strongs>in the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>, in a <strongs number="6723">dry</strongs>and <strongs number="6772">thirsty</strongs><strongs number="776">ground</strongs>. </verse>
