      <verse number='1'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>to his <strongs number="4899">anointed</strongs>, to <strongs number="3566">Cyrus</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whose</strongs>right <strongs number="3225">hand</strongs>I have <strongs number="2388">holden</strongs>, to <strongs number="7286">subdue</strongs><strongs number="1471">nations</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>him; and I will <strongs number="6605">loose</strongs>the <strongs number="4975">loins</strongs>of <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>, to <strongs number="6605">open</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>him the two leaved <strongs number="1817">gates</strongs>; and the <strongs number="8179">gates</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="5462">shut</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="589">I</strongs>will <strongs number="1980">go</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>thee, and make the crooked places <strongs number="3474 1921">straight</strongs>: I will break in <strongs number="7665">pieces</strongs>the <strongs number="1817">gates</strongs>of <strongs number="5154">brass</strongs>, and cut in <strongs number="1438">sunder</strongs>the <strongs number="1280">bars</strongs>of <strongs number="1270">iron</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='4'>For <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>my servant's <strongs number="4616 5650">sake</strongs>, and <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>mine <strongs number="972">elect</strongs>, I have even <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>thee by thy <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>: I have <strongs number="3655">surnamed</strongs>thee, though thou hast <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3045">known</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="369">none</strongs><strongs number="5750">else</strongs>, <em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="2108">beside</strongs>me: I <strongs number="247">girded</strongs>thee, though thou hast <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3045">known</strongs>me: </verse>

      <verse number='9'><strongs number="1945">Woe</strongs>unto him that <strongs number="7378">striveth</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>his <strongs number="3335">Maker</strongs>! <em> Let </em>the <strongs number="2789">potsherd</strongs><em> strive </em><strongs number="854">with</strongs>the <strongs number="2789">potsherds</strongs>of the <strongs number="127">earth</strongs>. Shall the <strongs number="2563">clay</strongs><strongs number="559">say</strongs>to him that <strongs number="3335">fashioneth</strongs>it, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs><strongs number="6213">makest</strongs>thou? or thy <strongs number="6467">work</strongs>, He hath <strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>? </verse>

      <verse number='16'>They shall be <strongs number="954">ashamed</strongs>, and <strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="3637">confounded</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>of them: they shall <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>to <strongs number="3639">confusion</strongs><strongs number="3162">together</strongs><em> that </em><em> are </em><strongs number="2796">makers</strongs>of <strongs number="6736">idols</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><em> But </em><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>shall be <strongs number="3467">saved</strongs>in the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>with an <strongs number="5769">everlasting</strongs><strongs number="8668">salvation</strongs>: ye shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="954">ashamed</strongs><strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="3637">confounded</strongs>world without <strongs number="5704 5769 5703">end</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>that <strongs number="1254">created</strongs>the <strongs number="8064">heavens</strongs>; <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="1931">himself</strongs>that <strongs number="3335">formed</strongs>the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>and <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>it; <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>hath <strongs number="3559">established</strongs>it, he <strongs number="1254">created</strongs>it <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>in <strongs number="8414">vain</strongs>, he <strongs number="3335">formed</strongs>it to be <strongs number="3427">inhabited</strongs>: <strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> am </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; and <em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="369">none</strongs><strongs number="5750">else</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='20'>Assemble <strongs number="6908">yourselves</strongs>and <strongs number="935">come</strongs>; draw <strongs number="5066">near</strongs><strongs number="3162">together</strongs>, ye <em> that </em><em> are </em><strongs number="6412">escaped</strongs>of the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>: they have no <strongs number="3045 3808">knowledge</strongs>that set <strongs number="5375">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="6086">wood</strongs>of their graven <strongs number="6459">image</strongs>, and <strongs number="6419">pray</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>a <strongs number="410">god</strongs><em> that </em><strongs number="3808">cannot</strongs><strongs number="3467">save</strongs>. </verse>
