Thussaiththe LORDto his anointed, to Cyrus, whoseright handI have holden, to subduenationsbeforehim; and I will loosethe loinsof kings, to openbeforehim the two leaved gates; and the gatesshall notbe shut; Iwill gobeforethee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in piecesthe gatesof brass, and cut in sunderthe barsof iron: And I will givethee the treasuresof darkness, and hidden richesof secret places, thatthou mayest knowthatI, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the Godof Israel. For Jacobmy servant's sake, and Israelmine elect, I have even calledthee by thy name: I have surnamedthee, though thou hast notknownme. I am the LORD, and there is noneelse, there is noGodbesideme: I girdedthee, though thou hast notknownme: Thatthey may knowfrom the risingof the sun, and from the west, that there is nonebesideme. I am the LORD, and there is noneelse. I formthe light, and createdarkness: I makepeace, and createevil: Ithe LORDdoallthese things . Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skiespour downrighteousness: let the earthopen, and let them bring forthsalvation, and let righteousnessspring uptogether; Ithe LORDhave createdit. Woeunto him that strivethwithhis Maker! Let the potsherd strive withthe potsherdsof the earth. Shall the claysayto him that fashionethit, Whatmakestthou? or thy work, He hath nohands? Woeunto him that saithunto his father, Whatbegettestthou? or to the woman, Whathast thou brought forth? Thussaiththe LORD, the Holy Oneof Israel, and his Maker, Askme of things to comeconcerningmy sons, and concerningthe workof my handscommandye me. Ihave madethe earth, and createdmanuponit: I, even my hands, have stretched outthe heavens, and alltheir hosthave I commanded. Ihave raised him upin righteousness, and I will directallhis ways: heshall buildmy city, and he shall let gomy captives, notfor pricenorreward, saiththe LORDof hosts. Thussaiththe LORD, The laborof Egypt, and merchandiseof Ethiopiaand of the Sabeans, menof stature, shall come overuntothee, and they shall bethine: they shall comeafterthee; in chainsthey shall come over, and they shall fall downuntothee, they shall make supplicationuntothee, saying , SurelyGod is in thee; and there is noneelse, there is noGod. Verilythou art a Godthat hidest thyself, O Godof Israel, the Savior. They shall be ashamed, and alsoconfounded, allof them: they shall goto confusiontogether that are makersof idols. But Israelshall be savedin the LORDwith an everlastingsalvation: ye shall notbe ashamednorconfoundedworld without end. Forthussaiththe LORDthat createdthe heavens; Godhimselfthat formedthe earthand madeit; hehath establishedit, he createdit notin vain, he formedit to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is noneelse. I have notspokenin secret, in a darkplaceof the earth: I saidnotunto the seedof Jacob, Seekye me in vain: Ithe LORDspeakrighteousness, I declarethings that are right. Assemble yourselvesand come; draw neartogether, ye that are escapedof the nations: they have no knowledgethat set upthe woodof their graven image, and prayuntoa god that cannotsave. Tellye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counseltogether: whohath declaredthisfrom ancient time? who hath toldit from that time? have notIthe LORD? and there is noGodelsebesideme; a justGodand a Savior; there is nonebesideme. Lookuntome, and be ye saved, allthe endsof the earth: forI am God, and there is noneelse. I have swornby myself, the wordis gone outof my mouth in righteousness, and shall notreturn, Thatunto me everykneeshall bow, everytongueshall swear. Surely, shall one say, in the LORDhave I righteousnessand strength: even tohim shall men come; and allthat are incensedagainst him shall be ashamed. In the LORDshall allthe seedof Israelbe justified, and shall glory.
