      <verse number='8'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>; <strongs number="3282 834">Because</strongs>ye have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>, </verse>

      <verse number='10'>Moreover I will <strongs number="6">take</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>them the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of <strongs number="8342">mirth</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of <strongs number="8057">gladness</strongs>, the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of the <strongs number="2860">bridegroom</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of the <strongs number="3618">bride</strongs>, the <strongs number="6963">sound</strongs>of the <strongs number="7347">millstones</strongs>, and the <strongs number="216">light</strongs>of the <strongs number="5216">candle</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="3605">whole</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="2723">desolation</strongs>, <em> and </em>an <strongs number="8047">astonishment</strongs>; and <strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>shall <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="894">Babylon</strongs><strongs number="7657">seventy</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, when <strongs number="7657">seventy</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>are <strongs number="4390">accomplished</strongs>, <em> that </em>I will <strongs number="6485 5921">punish</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="894">Babylon</strongs>, and <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="1471">nation</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="854">for</strongs>their <strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>, and the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of the <strongs number="3778">Chaldeans</strongs>, and will <strongs number="7760">make</strongs>it <strongs number="5769">perpetual</strongs><strongs number="8077">desolations</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And I will <strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>my <strongs number="1697">words</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>I have <strongs number="1696">pronounced</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>it, <em> even </em><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>that is <strongs number="3789">written</strongs>in <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5612">book</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>hath <strongs number="5012">prophesied</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="7227">many</strongs><strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>and <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>shall <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs><strongs number="1992">themselves</strongs>of them <strongs number="1571">also</strongs>: and I will <strongs number="7999">recompense</strongs>them according to their <strongs number="6467">deeds</strongs>, and according to the <strongs number="4639">works</strongs>of their own <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me; <strongs number="3947">Take</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3196">wine</strongs><strongs number="3563">cup</strongs>of <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="2534">fury</strongs>at my <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>, and cause <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>, to <strongs number="834 413">whom</strongs><strongs number="595">I</strongs><strongs number="7971">send</strongs>thee, to <strongs number="8248">drink</strongs>it. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And they shall <strongs number="8354">drink</strongs>, and be <strongs number="1607">moved</strongs>, and be <strongs number="1984">mad</strongs>, <strongs number="4480 6440">because</strongs>of the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I will <strongs number="7971">send</strongs><strongs number="996">among</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>Then <strongs number="3947">took</strongs>I <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3563">cup</strongs>at the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>'s <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>, and made <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>to <strongs number="8248">drink</strongs>, <strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="834">whom</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>had <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>me: </verse>
      <verse number='18'><em> To </em><em> wit </em>, <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, and the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>thereof, and <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>thereof, to <strongs number="5414">make</strongs>them a <strongs number="2723">desolation</strongs>, an <strongs number="8047">astonishment</strongs>, a <strongs number="8322">hissing</strongs>, and a <strongs number="7045">curse</strongs>; as <em> it </em><em> is </em><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>; </verse>

      <verse number='22'>And <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="6865">Tyrus</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="6721">Zidon</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of the <strongs number="339">isles</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="5676">beyond</strongs>the <strongs number="3220">sea</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='23'><strongs number="1719">Dedan</strongs>, and <strongs number="8485">Tema</strongs>, and <strongs number="938">Buz</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><em> that </em><em> are </em>in the <strongs number="7112">utmost</strongs><strongs number="6285">corners</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='24'>And <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="6152">Arabia</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of the mingled <strongs number="6154">people</strongs>that <strongs number="7931">dwell</strongs>in the <strongs number="4057">desert</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='25'>And <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="2174">Zimri</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="5867">Elam</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of the <strongs number="4074">Medes</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='26'>And <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of the <strongs number="6828">north</strongs>, <strongs number="7350">far</strongs>and <strongs number="7138">near</strongs>, <strongs number="376">one</strongs><strongs number="413">with</strongs><strongs number="251">another</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4467">kingdoms</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">world</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>of the <strongs number="127">earth</strongs>: and the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="8347">Sheshach</strongs>shall <strongs number="8354">drink</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='27'>Therefore thou shalt <strongs number="559">say</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; <strongs number="8354">Drink</strongs>ye, and be <strongs number="7937">drunken</strongs>, and <strongs number="7006">spew</strongs>, and <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>, and <strongs number="6965">rise</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs>more, <strongs number="4480 6440">because</strongs>of the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="595">I</strongs>will <strongs number="7971">send</strongs><strongs number="996">among</strongs>you. </verse>
      <verse number='28'>And it shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">if</strongs>they <strongs number="3985">refuse</strongs>to <strongs number="3947">take</strongs>the <strongs number="3563">cup</strongs>at thine <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>to <strongs number="8354">drink</strongs>, then shalt thou <strongs number="559">say</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>; Ye shall certainly <strongs number="8354 8354">drink</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='29'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">lo</strongs>, <strongs number="595">I</strongs><strongs number="2490">begin</strongs>to bring <strongs number="7489">evil</strongs>on the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>is <strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="5921">by</strongs>my <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>, and should <strongs number="859">ye</strongs>be utterly <strongs number="5352 5352">unpunished</strongs>?       <verse number='31'>A <strongs number="7588">noise</strongs>shall <strongs number="935">come</strongs><em> even </em><strongs number="5704">to</strongs>the <strongs number="7097">ends</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath a <strongs number="7379">controversy</strongs>with the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>will <strongs number="8199">plead</strongs>with <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>; he will <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>them <em> that </em><em> are </em><strongs number="7563">wicked</strongs>to the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='32'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>shall go <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 1471">nation</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="1471">nation</strongs>, and a <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="5591">whirlwind</strongs>shall be raised <strongs number="5782">up</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 3411">coasts</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='33'>And the <strongs number="2491">slain</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>at <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>from <em> one </em><strongs number="4480 7097">end</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>even <strongs number="5704">unto</strongs>the <em> other </em><strongs number="7097">end</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>: they shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="5594">lamented</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs><strongs number="622">gathered</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="6912">buried</strongs>; they shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="1828">dung</strongs><strongs number="5921 6440">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="127">ground</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='34'><strongs number="3213">Howl</strongs>, ye <strongs number="7462">shepherds</strongs>, and <strongs number="2199">cry</strongs>; and wallow <strongs number="6428">yourselves</strongs><em> in </em><em> the </em><em> ashes </em>, ye <strongs number="117">principal</strongs>of the <strongs number="6629">flock</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>of your <strongs number="2873">slaughter</strongs>and of your <strongs number="8600">dispersions</strongs>are <strongs number="4390">accomplished</strongs>; and ye shall <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>like a <strongs number="2532">pleasant</strongs><strongs number="3627">vessel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='35'>And the <strongs number="7462">shepherds</strongs>shall have no way to <strongs number="4480 6 4498">flee</strongs>, nor the <strongs number="4480 117">principal</strongs>of the <strongs number="6629">flock</strongs>to <strongs number="6413">escape</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='36'>A <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>of the <strongs number="6818">cry</strongs>of the <strongs number="7462">shepherds</strongs>, and a <strongs number="3215">howling</strongs>of the <strongs number="117">principal</strongs>of the <strongs number="6629">flock</strongs>, <em> shall </em><em> be </em><em> heard </em>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="7703">spoiled</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="4830">pasture</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='37'>And the <strongs number="7965">peaceable</strongs><strongs number="4999">habitations</strongs>are cut <strongs number="1826">down</strongs><strongs number="4480 6440">because</strongs>of the <strongs number="2740">fierce</strongs><strongs number="639">anger</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
