      <verse number='1'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>and <strongs number="7069">get</strongs>thee a <strongs number="6593">linen</strongs><strongs number="232">girdle</strongs>, and <strongs number="7760">put</strongs>it <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>thy <strongs number="4975">loins</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">put</strongs>it <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>in <strongs number="4325">water</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>So I <strongs number="7069">got</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>a <strongs number="232">girdle</strongs>according to the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="7760">put</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>my <strongs number="4975">loins</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me the second <strongs number="8145">time</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="3947">Take</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="232">girdle</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="7069">got</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>thy <strongs number="4975">loins</strongs>, and <strongs number="6965">arise</strongs>, <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>to <strongs number="6578">Euphrates</strongs>, and <strongs number="2934">hide</strongs>it <strongs number="8033">there</strongs>in a <strongs number="5357">hole</strongs>of the <strongs number="5553">rock</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>So I <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>, and <strongs number="2934">hid</strongs>it by <strongs number="6578">Euphrates</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs><strongs number="4480 7093">after</strongs><strongs number="7227">many</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>, that the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="6965">Arise</strongs>, <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>to <strongs number="6578">Euphrates</strongs>, and <strongs number="3947">take</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="232">girdle</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 8033">thence</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>I <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>thee to <strongs number="2934">hide</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>Then I <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>to <strongs number="6578">Euphrates</strongs>, and <strongs number="2658">digged</strongs>, and <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="232">girdle</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>the <strongs number="4725">place</strongs><strongs number="834 8033">where</strongs>I had <strongs number="2934">hid</strongs>it: and, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="232">girdle</strongs>was <strongs number="7843">marred</strongs>, it was <strongs number="6743">profitable</strongs>for <strongs number="3808 3605">nothing</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>Then the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='9'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, After this <strongs number="3602">manner</strongs>will I <strongs number="7843">mar</strongs>the <strongs number="1347">pride</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and the <strongs number="7227">great</strongs><strongs number="1347">pride</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="2088">This</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, which <strongs number="3987">refuse</strongs>to <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>, which <strongs number="1980">walk</strongs>in the <strongs number="8307">imagination</strongs>of their <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">walk</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs><strongs number="312">other</strongs><strongs number="430">gods</strongs>, to <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs>them, and to <strongs number="7812">worship</strongs>them, shall even <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>as <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="232">girdle</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>is <strongs number="6743">good</strongs>for <strongs number="3808 3605">nothing</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="834">as</strongs>the <strongs number="232">girdle</strongs><strongs number="1692">cleaveth</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4975">loins</strongs>of a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>, <strongs number="3651">so</strongs>have I caused to <strongs number="1692">cleave</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3605">whole</strongs><strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>and the <strongs number="3605">whole</strongs><strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; that they might <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>unto me for a <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, and for a <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>, and for a <strongs number="8416">praise</strongs>, and for a <strongs number="8597">glory</strongs>: but they would <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>Therefore thou shalt <strongs number="559">speak</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="1697">word</strongs>; <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">Every</strongs><strongs number="5035">bottle</strongs>shall be <strongs number="4390">filled</strongs>with <strongs number="3196">wine</strongs>: and they shall <strongs number="559">say</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee, Do we <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>certainly <strongs number="3045 3045">know</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="5035">bottle</strongs>shall be <strongs number="4390">filled</strongs>with <strongs number="3196">wine</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='13'>Then shalt thou <strongs number="559">say</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I will <strongs number="4390">fill</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>, even the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>that <strongs number="3427">sit</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>'s <strongs number="3678">throne</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>, and the <strongs number="5030">prophets</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, with <strongs number="7943">drunkenness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And I will <strongs number="5310">dash</strongs>them <strongs number="376">one</strongs><strongs number="413">against</strongs><strongs number="251">another</strongs>, even the <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>and the <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs><strongs number="3162">together</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: I will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2550">pity</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="2347">spare</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs>have <strongs number="7355">mercy</strongs>, but <strongs number="4480 7843">destroy</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="8085">Hear</strongs>ye, and give <strongs number="238">ear</strongs>; be <strongs number="408">not</strongs><strongs number="1361">proud</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'><strongs number="5414">Give</strongs><strongs number="3519">glory</strongs>to the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="2962">before</strongs>he cause <strongs number="2821">darkness</strongs>, and <strongs number="2962">before</strongs>your <strongs number="7272">feet</strongs><strongs number="5062">stumble</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="5399">dark</strongs><strongs number="2022">mountains</strongs>, and, while ye <strongs number="6960">look</strongs>for <strongs number="216">light</strongs>, he <strongs number="7760">turn</strongs>it into the shadow of <strongs number="6757">death</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="7896">make</strongs><em> it </em>gross <strongs number="6205">darkness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>But <strongs number="518">if</strongs>ye will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>it, my <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>shall <strongs number="1058">weep</strongs>in secret <strongs number="4565">places</strongs><strongs number="4480 6440">for</strongs><em> your </em><strongs number="1466">pride</strongs>; and mine <strongs number="5869">eye</strongs>shall weep <strongs number="1830 1830">sore</strongs>, and run <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>with <strongs number="1832">tears</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>'s <strongs number="5739">flock</strongs>is carried away <strongs number="7617">captive</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'><strongs number="559">Say</strongs>unto the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>and to the <strongs number="1377">queen</strongs>, Humble <strongs number="8213">yourselves</strongs>, sit <strongs number="3427">down</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>your <strongs number="4761">principalities</strongs>shall come <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>, <em> even </em>the <strongs number="5850">crown</strongs>of your <strongs number="8597">glory</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>The <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of the <strongs number="5045">south</strongs>shall be shut <strongs number="5462">up</strongs>, and <strongs number="369">none</strongs>shall <strongs number="6605">open</strongs><em> them </em>: <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>shall be carried away <strongs number="1540">captive</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>of it, it shall be <strongs number="7965">wholly</strongs>carried away <strongs number="1540">captive</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>Lift <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>your <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>, and <strongs number="7200">behold</strongs>them that <strongs number="935">come</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 6828">north</strongs>: <strongs number="346">where</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="5739">flock</strongs><em> that </em>was <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>thee, thy <strongs number="8597">beautiful</strongs><strongs number="6629">flock</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='21'><strongs number="4100">What</strongs>wilt thou <strongs number="559">say</strongs><strongs number="3588">when</strongs>he shall <strongs number="6485 5921">punish</strongs>thee? for <strongs number="859">thou</strongs>hast <strongs number="3925">taught</strongs>them <em> to </em><em> be </em><strongs number="441">captains</strongs>, <em> and </em>as <strongs number="7218">chief</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>thee: shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2256">sorrows</strongs><strongs number="270">take</strongs>thee, <strongs number="3644">as</strongs>a <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>in <strongs number="3205">travail</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And <strongs number="3588">if</strongs>thou <strongs number="559">say</strongs>in thine <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>, <strongs number="4069">Wherefore</strongs><strongs number="7122">come</strongs>these <strongs number="428">things</strongs>upon me? For the <strongs number="7230">greatness</strongs>of thine <strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>are thy <strongs number="7757">skirts</strongs><strongs number="1540">discovered</strongs>, <em> and </em>thy <strongs number="6119">heels</strongs>made <strongs number="2554">bare</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>Can the <strongs number="3569">Ethiopian</strongs><strongs number="2015">change</strongs>his <strongs number="5785">skin</strongs>, or the <strongs number="5246">leopard</strongs>his <strongs number="2272">spots</strongs>? <em> then </em><strongs number="3201">may</strongs><strongs number="859">ye</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs>do <strongs number="3190">good</strongs>, that are <strongs number="3928">accustomed</strongs>to do <strongs number="7489">evil</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'>Therefore will I <strongs number="6327">scatter</strongs>them as the <strongs number="7179">stubble</strongs>that passeth <strongs number="5674">away</strongs>by the <strongs number="7307">wind</strongs>of the <strongs number="4057">wilderness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='25'><strongs number="2088">This</strongs><em> is </em>thy <strongs number="1486">lot</strongs>, the <strongs number="4490">portion</strongs>of thy <strongs number="4055">measures</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">from</strongs>me, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; <strongs number="834">because</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="7911">forgotten</strongs>me, and <strongs number="982">trusted</strongs>in <strongs number="8267">falsehood</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='26'><strongs number="1571">Therefore</strongs>will <strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="2834">discover</strongs>thy <strongs number="7757">skirts</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>thy <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>, that thy <strongs number="7036">shame</strongs>may <strongs number="7200">appear</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='27'>I have <strongs number="7200">seen</strongs>thine <strongs number="5004">adulteries</strongs>, and thy <strongs number="4684">neighings</strongs>, the <strongs number="2154">lewdness</strongs>of thy <strongs number="2184">whoredom</strongs>, <em> and </em>thine <strongs number="8251">abominations</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>the <strongs number="1389">hills</strongs>in the <strongs number="7704">fields</strongs>. <strongs number="188">Woe</strongs>unto thee, O <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>! wilt thou <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be made <strongs number="2891">clean</strongs>? <strongs number="310">when</strongs><em> shall </em><em> it </em><strongs number="5750">once</strongs><em> be </em>? </verse>
