      <verse number='1'>So <strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs><strongs number="7673">ceased</strongs>to <strongs number="4480 6030">answer</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="347">Job</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="6662">righteous</strongs>in his own <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>Then was <strongs number="2734">kindled</strongs>the <strongs number="639">wrath</strongs>of <strongs number="453">Elihu</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="1292">Barachel</strongs>the <strongs number="940">Buzite</strongs>, of the <strongs number="4480 4940">kindred</strongs>of <strongs number="7410">Ram</strongs>: against <strongs number="347">Job</strongs>was his <strongs number="639">wrath</strongs><strongs number="2734">kindled</strongs>, <strongs number="5921">because</strongs>he <strongs number="6663">justified</strongs><strongs number="5315">himself</strongs>rather than <strongs number="4480 430">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>Also against his <strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="7453">friends</strongs>was his <strongs number="639">wrath</strongs><strongs number="2734">kindled</strongs>, <strongs number="5921 834">because</strongs>they had <strongs number="4672">found</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="4617">answer</strongs>, and <em> yet </em>had <strongs number="7561">condemned</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="347">Job</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>Now <strongs number="453">Elihu</strongs>had <strongs number="2442">waited</strongs>till <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="347">Job</strongs>had <strongs number="1697">spoken</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs><strongs number="1992">they</strongs><em> were </em><strongs number="2205 3117">elder</strongs><strongs number="4480">than</strongs>he. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>When <strongs number="453">Elihu</strongs><strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><em> there </em><em> was </em><strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="4617">answer</strongs>in the <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>of <em> these </em><strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs>, then his <strongs number="639">wrath</strongs>was <strongs number="2734">kindled</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='7'>I <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="3117">Days</strongs>should <strongs number="1696">speak</strongs>, and <strongs number="7230">multitude</strongs>of <strongs number="8141">years</strongs>should <strongs number="3045">teach</strongs><strongs number="2451">wisdom</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="403">But</strongs><em> there </em><em> is </em>a <strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs>in <strongs number="582">man</strongs>: and the <strongs number="5397">inspiration</strongs>of the <strongs number="7706">Almighty</strongs>giveth them <strongs number="995">understanding</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'><strongs number="7227">Great</strongs>men are <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><em> always </em><strongs number="2449">wise</strongs>: neither do the <strongs number="2205">aged</strongs><strongs number="995">understand</strongs><strongs number="4941">judgment</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs>I <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="8085">Hearken</strongs>to me; <strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="637">also</strongs>will <strongs number="2331">show</strongs>mine <strongs number="1843">opinion</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="2005">Behold</strongs>, I <strongs number="3176">waited</strongs>for your <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>; I gave <strongs number="238">ear</strongs><strongs number="5704">to</strongs>your <strongs number="8394">reasons</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">whilst</strongs>ye searched <strongs number="2713">out</strongs>what to <strongs number="4405">say</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>Yea, I <strongs number="995">attended</strongs><strongs number="5704">unto</strongs>you, and, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, <em> there </em><em> was </em><strongs number="369">none</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>you that <strongs number="3198">convinced</strongs><strongs number="347">Job</strongs>, <em> or </em>that <strongs number="6030">answered</strongs>his <strongs number="561">words</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='13'><strongs number="6435">Lest</strongs>ye should <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, We have found <strongs number="4672">out</strongs><strongs number="2451">wisdom</strongs>: <strongs number="410">God</strongs>thrusteth him <strongs number="5086">down</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Now he hath <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="6186">directed</strongs><em> his </em><strongs number="4405">words</strongs><strongs number="413">against</strongs>me: <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>will I <strongs number="7725">answer</strongs>him with your <strongs number="561">speeches</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='18'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>I am <strongs number="4390">full</strongs>of <strongs number="4405">matter</strongs>, the <strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs><strongs number="990">within</strongs>me <strongs number="6693">constraineth</strongs>me. </verse>

      <verse number='22'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>I <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>to give flattering <strongs number="3655">titles</strongs>; <em> in </em><em> so </em><em> doing </em>my <strongs number="6213">maker</strongs>would <strongs number="4592">soon</strongs>take me <strongs number="5375">away</strongs>. </verse>
