      <verse number='1'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="1697">things</strongs>, that <em> one </em><strongs number="559">told</strongs><strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, thy <strongs number="1">father</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="2470">sick</strongs>: and he <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him <strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>, <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>and <strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And <em> one </em><strongs number="5046">told</strongs><strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, thy <strongs number="1121">son</strongs><strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="935">cometh</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee: and <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>strengthened <strongs number="2388">himself</strongs>, and <strongs number="3427">sat</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="4296">bed</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>, <strongs number="410">God</strongs><strongs number="7706">Almighty</strongs><strongs number="7200">appeared</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me at <strongs number="3870">Luz</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="3667">Canaan</strongs>, and <strongs number="1288">blessed</strongs>me, </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I will make thee <strongs number="6509">fruitful</strongs>, and <strongs number="7235">multiply</strongs>thee, and I will <strongs number="5414">make</strongs>of thee a <strongs number="6951">multitude</strongs>of <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>; and will <strongs number="5414">give</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>to thy <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>thee <em> for </em>an <strongs number="5769">everlasting</strongs><strongs number="272">possession</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And <strongs number="6258">now</strongs>thy <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>, <strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>and <strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>, which were <strongs number="3205">born</strongs>unto thee in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs><strongs number="5704">before</strongs>I <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee into <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, <em> are </em>mine; as <strongs number="7205">Reuben</strongs>and <strongs number="8095">Simeon</strongs>, they shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>mine. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And thy <strongs number="4138">issue</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou <strongs number="3205">begettest</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>them, shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>thine, <em> and </em>shall be <strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="5921">after</strongs>the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of their <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>in their <strongs number="5159">inheritance</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And as for <strongs number="589">me</strongs>, when I <strongs number="935">came</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 6307">Padan</strongs>, <strongs number="7354">Rachel</strongs><strongs number="4191">died</strongs><strongs number="5921">by</strongs>me in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="3667">Canaan</strongs>in the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>, when <strongs number="5750">yet</strongs><em> there </em><em> was </em>but a <strongs number="3530">little</strongs><strongs number="776">way</strongs>to <strongs number="935">come</strongs>unto <strongs number="672">Ephrath</strongs>: and I <strongs number="6912">buried</strongs>her <strongs number="8033">there</strongs>in the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>of <strongs number="672">Ephrath</strongs>; the <strongs number="1931">same</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="1035">Bethlehem</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="7200">beheld</strongs><strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>'s <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="4310">Who</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="428">these</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, <strongs number="1992">They</strongs><em> are </em>my <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whom</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>hath <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>me in <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><em> place </em>. And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="3947">Bring</strongs>them, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, and I will <strongs number="1288">bless</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>Now the <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>were <strongs number="3513">dim</strongs>for <strongs number="4480 2207">age</strongs>, <em> so </em><em> that </em>he <strongs number="3201">could</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7200">see</strongs>. And he brought them <strongs number="5066 *853">near</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him; and he <strongs number="5401">kissed</strongs>them, and <strongs number="2263">embraced</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>, I had <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="6419">thought</strongs>to <strongs number="7200">see</strongs>thy <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>: and, <strongs number="2009">lo</strongs>, <strongs number="430">God</strongs>hath <strongs number="7200">showed</strongs>me <strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>brought them <strongs number="3318 *853">out</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 5973">between</strongs>his <strongs number="1290">knees</strongs>, and he bowed <strongs number="7812">himself</strongs>with his <strongs number="639">face</strongs>to the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>them <strongs number="8147">both</strongs>, <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>in his right <strongs number="3225">hand</strongs>toward <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>'s left <strongs number="4480 8040">hand</strongs>, and <strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>in his left <strongs number="8040">hand</strongs>toward <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>'s right <strongs number="4480 3225">hand</strongs>, and brought <em> them </em><strongs number="5066">near</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>stretched <strongs number="7971">out</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his right <strongs number="3225">hand</strongs>, and <strongs number="7896">laid</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>'s <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">who</strongs><em> was </em>the <strongs number="6810">younger</strongs>, and his left <strongs number="8040">hand</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>'s <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>, guiding his hands <strongs number="7919 *853 3027">wittingly</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs><em> was </em>the <strongs number="1060">firstborn</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And he <strongs number="1288">blessed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="6440">before</strongs><strongs number="834">whom</strongs>my <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs><strongs number="85">Abraham</strongs>and <strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs>did <strongs number="1980">walk</strongs>, the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>which <strongs number="7462">fed</strongs>me all my life <strongs number="4480 5750">long</strongs><strongs number="5704">unto</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='16'>The <strongs number="4397">Angel</strongs>which <strongs number="1350">redeemed</strongs>me from <strongs number="4480 3605">all</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>, <strongs number="1288">bless</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="5288">lads</strongs>; and let my <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>be <strongs number="7121">named</strongs>on them, and the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of my <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs><strongs number="85">Abraham</strongs>and <strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs>; and let them <strongs number="1711">grow</strongs>into a <strongs number="7230">multitude</strongs>in the <strongs number="7130">midst</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And when <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs><strongs number="7896">laid</strongs>his <strongs number="3225">right</strongs><strongs number="3027">hand</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>of <strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>, it <strongs number="7489 5869">displeased</strongs>him: and he held <strongs number="8551">up</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>'s <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>, to <strongs number="5493">remove</strongs>it <strongs number="4480 5921">from</strongs><strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>'s <strongs number="7218">head</strongs><strongs number="5921">unto</strongs><strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>'s <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">Not</strongs><strongs number="3651">so</strongs>, my <strongs number="1">father</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="1060">firstborn</strongs>; <strongs number="7760">put</strongs>thy right <strongs number="3225">hand</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>his <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And his <strongs number="1">father</strongs><strongs number="3985">refused</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, I <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><em> it </em>, my <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, I <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><em> it </em>: <strongs number="1931">he</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">become</strongs>a <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, and <strongs number="1931">he</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs>shall be <strongs number="1431">great</strongs>: but <strongs number="199">truly</strongs>his <strongs number="6996">younger</strongs><strongs number="251">brother</strongs>shall be <strongs number="1431">greater</strongs><strongs number="4480">than</strongs>he, and his <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">become</strongs>a <strongs number="4393">multitude</strongs>of <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And he <strongs number="1288">blessed</strongs>them <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, In thee shall <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="1288">bless</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="7760">make</strongs>thee as <strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>and as <strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>: and he <strongs number="7760">set</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs><strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, <strongs number="595">I</strongs><strongs number="4191">die</strongs>: but <strongs number="430">God</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>you, and bring you <strongs number="7725 *853">again</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of your <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>Moreover <strongs number="589">I</strongs>have <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>to thee <strongs number="259">one</strongs><strongs number="7926">portion</strongs><strongs number="5921">above</strongs>thy <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>I <strongs number="3947">took</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="567">Amorite</strongs>with my <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>and with my <strongs number="7198">bow</strongs>. </verse>
