      <verse number='2'>And when <strongs number="7928">Shechem</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="2544">Hamor</strongs>the <strongs number="2340">Hivite</strongs>, <strongs number="5387">prince</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">country</strongs>, <strongs number="7200">saw</strongs>her, he <strongs number="3947">took</strongs>her, and lay <strongs number="7901">with</strongs>her, and <strongs number="6031">defiled</strongs>her. </verse>

      <verse number='9'>And make ye <strongs number="2859">marriages</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>us, <em> and </em><strongs number="5414">give</strongs>your <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>unto us, and <strongs number="3947">take</strongs>our <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>unto you. </verse>

      <verse number='19'>And the young <strongs number="5288">man</strongs><strongs number="309">deferred</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>to <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>the <strongs number="1697">thing</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>he had <strongs number="2654">delight</strongs>in <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>'s <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>: and <strongs number="1931">he</strongs><em> was </em>more <strongs number="3513">honorable</strongs>than <strongs number="4480 3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='23'><em> Shall </em><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>their <strongs number="4735">cattle</strongs>and their <strongs number="7075">substance</strongs>and <strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="929">beast</strongs>of theirs <em> be </em>ours? <strongs number="389">only</strongs>let us <strongs number="225">consent</strongs>unto them, and they will <strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>us. </verse>

      <verse number='26'>And they <strongs number="2026">slew</strongs><strongs number="2544">Hamor</strongs>and <strongs number="7928">Shechem</strongs>his <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>with the <strongs number="6310">edge</strongs>of the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>, and <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="1783">Dinah</strongs>out of <strongs number="7928">Shechem</strongs>'s <strongs number="4480 1004">house</strongs>, and went <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='27'>The <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="2491">slain</strongs>, and <strongs number="962">spoiled</strongs>the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, <strongs number="834">because</strongs>they had <strongs number="2930">defiled</strongs>their <strongs number="269">sister</strongs>. </verse>
