      <verse number='1'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>we <strongs number="1492">know</strongs><strongs number="3754">that</strongs><strongs number="1437">if</strongs><strongs number="2257">our</strongs><strongs number="1919">earthly</strongs><strongs number="3614">house</strongs>of <em> this </em><strongs number="4636">tabernacle</strongs>were <strongs number="2647">dissolved</strongs>, we <strongs number="2192">have</strongs>a <strongs number="3619">building</strongs><strongs number="1537">of</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, a <strongs number="3614">house</strongs>not made with <strongs number="886">hands</strongs>, <strongs number="166">eternal</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3772">heavens</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="5129">this</strongs><strongs number="*2532">we</strongs><strongs number="4727">groan</strongs>, earnestly <strongs number="1971">desiring</strongs>to be clothed <strongs number="1902">upon</strongs>with <strongs number="2257">our</strongs><strongs number="3613">house</strongs><strongs number="3588">which</strongs>is <strongs number="1537">from</strongs><strongs number="3772">heaven</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='3'>If so <strongs number="1489">be</strongs><strongs number="*2532">that</strongs>being <strongs number="1746">clothed</strongs>we shall <strongs number="3756">not</strongs>be <strongs number="2147">found</strongs><strongs number="1131">naked</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>we that <strongs number="5607">are</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><em> this </em><strongs number="4636">tabernacle</strongs>do <strongs number="4727">groan</strongs>, being <strongs number="916">burdened</strongs>: <strongs number="3756">not</strongs>for <strongs number="1909 3739">that</strongs>we <strongs number="2309">would</strongs>be <strongs number="1562">unclothed</strongs>, <strongs number="235">but</strongs>clothed <strongs number="1902">upon</strongs>, <strongs number="2443">that</strongs><strongs number="2349">mortality</strongs>might be swallowed <strongs number="2666">up</strongs><strongs number="5259">of</strongs><strongs number="2222">life</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="1161">Now</strongs>he that hath <strongs number="2716">wrought</strongs><strongs number="2248">us</strongs><strongs number="1519">for</strongs>the selfsame <strongs number="846 5124">thing</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, who also hath <strongs number="1325 2532">given</strongs>unto <strongs number="2254">us</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="728">earnest</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4151">Spirit</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="3767">Therefore</strongs><em> we </em><em> are </em><strongs number="3842">always</strongs><strongs number="2292">confident</strongs>, <strongs number="*1492">knowing</strongs><strongs number="3754">that</strongs>, whilst we are at <strongs number="1736">home</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4983">body</strongs>, we are <strongs number="1553">absent</strongs><strongs number="575">from</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='7'>( <strongs number="1063">For</strongs>we <strongs number="4043">walk</strongs><strongs number="1223">by</strongs><strongs number="4102">faith</strongs>, <strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="1223">by</strongs><strongs number="1491">sight</strongs>:) </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="*1161"></strongs>We are <strongs number="2292">confident</strongs>, <em> I </em><em> say, </em><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="2106">willing</strongs><strongs number="3123">rather</strongs>to be <strongs number="1553">absent</strongs><strongs number="1537">from</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4983">body</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>to be <strongs number="1736">present</strongs><strongs number="4314">with</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'><strongs number="1352">Wherefore</strongs><strongs number="*2532">we</strongs><strongs number="5389">labor</strongs>, that, <strongs number="1535">whether</strongs><strongs number="1736">present</strongs><strongs number="1535">or</strongs><strongs number="1553">absent</strongs>, we may <strongs number="1511">be</strongs><strongs number="2101">accepted</strongs>of <strongs number="846">him</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="2248">we</strongs><strongs number="1163">must</strongs><strongs number="3956">all</strongs><strongs number="5319">appear</strongs><strongs number="1715">before</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs>judgment <strongs number="968">seat</strongs>of <strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>; <strongs number="2443">that</strongs>every <strongs number="1538">one</strongs>may <strongs number="2865">receive</strongs>the <strongs number="3588">things</strongs><em> done </em><strongs number="1223">in</strongs><em> his </em><strongs number="4983">body</strongs>, <strongs number="4314">according</strongs>to <strongs number="3739">that</strongs>he hath <strongs number="4238">done</strongs>, <strongs number="1535">whether</strongs><em> it </em><em> be </em><strongs number="18">good</strongs><strongs number="1535">or</strongs><strongs number="2556">bad</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="1492">Knowing</strongs><strongs number="3767">therefore</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="5401">terror</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs>, we <strongs number="3982">persuade</strongs><strongs number="444">men</strongs>; <strongs number="1161">but</strongs>we are made <strongs number="5319">manifest</strongs>unto <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>; <strongs number="1161">and</strongs>I <strongs number="1679">trust</strongs><strongs number="2532">also</strongs>are made <strongs number="5319">manifest</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="5216">your</strongs><strongs number="4893">consciences</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>we <strongs number="4921">commend</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="1438">ourselves</strongs><strongs number="3825">again</strongs>unto <strongs number="5213">you</strongs>, <strongs number="235">but</strongs><strongs number="1325">give</strongs><strongs number="5213">you</strongs><strongs number="874">occasion</strongs>to <strongs number="2745">glory</strongs>on our <strongs number="5228 2257">behalf</strongs>, <strongs number="2443">that</strongs>ye may <strongs number="2192">have</strongs>somewhat <strongs number="4314">to</strongs><em> answer </em>them which <strongs number="2744">glory</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="4383">appearance</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs>in <strongs number="2588">heart</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='14'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="26">love</strongs>of <strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs><strongs number="4912">constraineth</strongs><strongs number="2248">us</strongs>; because we <strongs number="5124">thus</strongs><strongs number="2919">judge</strongs>, <strongs number="3754">that</strongs><strongs number="1487">if</strongs><strongs number="1520">one</strongs><strongs number="599">died</strongs><strongs number="5228">for</strongs><strongs number="3956">all</strongs>, <strongs number="686">then</strongs>were all <strongs number="599 3956">dead</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='16'><strongs number="5620">Wherefore</strongs><strongs number="575 3568">henceforth</strongs><strongs number="1492">know</strongs><strongs number="2249">we</strongs>no <strongs number="3762">man</strongs><strongs number="2596">after</strongs>the <strongs number="4561">flesh</strongs>: <strongs number="1161">yea</strongs>, <strongs number="1499">though</strongs>we have <strongs number="1097">known</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs><strongs number="2596">after</strongs>the <strongs number="4561">flesh</strongs>, <strongs number="235">yet</strongs><strongs number="3568">now</strongs>henceforth <strongs number="1097">know</strongs>we <em> him </em>no <strongs number="3765">more</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="5620">Therefore</strongs>if any <strongs number="1536">man</strongs><em> be </em><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>, <em> he </em><em> is </em>a <strongs number="2537">new</strongs><strongs number="2937">creature</strongs>: old <strongs number="744">things</strongs>are passed <strongs number="3928">away</strongs>; <strongs number="2400">behold</strongs>, all <strongs number="3956">things</strongs>are <strongs number="1096">become</strongs><strongs number="2537">new</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'><strongs number="1161">And</strongs>all <strongs number="3956">things</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="1537">of</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, who hath <strongs number="2644">reconciled</strongs><strongs number="2248">us</strongs>to <strongs number="1438">himself</strongs><strongs number="1223">by</strongs><strongs number="2424">Jesus</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>hath <strongs number="1325">given</strongs>to <strongs number="2254">us</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1248">ministry</strongs>of <strongs number="2643">reconciliation</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='19'>To <strongs number="5613">wit</strongs>, <strongs number="3754">that</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs><strongs number="2258">was</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>, <strongs number="2644">reconciling</strongs>the <strongs number="2889">world</strongs>unto <strongs number="1438">himself</strongs>, <strongs number="3361">not</strongs><strongs number="3049">imputing</strongs><strongs number="846">their</strongs><strongs number="3900">trespasses</strongs>unto <strongs number="846">them</strongs>; <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>hath <strongs number="5087">committed</strongs><strongs number="1722">unto</strongs><strongs number="2254">us</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3056">word</strongs>of <strongs number="2643">reconciliation</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>Now <strongs number="3767">then</strongs>we are <strongs number="4243">ambassadors</strongs><strongs number="5228">for</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>, as <strongs number="5613">though</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>did <strongs number="3870">beseech</strongs><em> you </em><strongs number="1223">by</strongs><strongs number="2257">us</strongs>; we <strongs number="1189">pray</strongs><em> you </em>in Christ's <strongs number="5228 5547">stead</strongs>, be ye <strongs number="2644">reconciled</strongs>to <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>he hath <strongs number="4160">made</strongs>him <em> to </em><em> be </em><strongs number="266">sin</strongs><strongs number="5228">for</strongs><strongs number="2257">us</strongs>, who <strongs number="1097">knew</strongs><strongs number="3361">no</strongs><strongs number="266">sin</strongs>; <strongs number="2443">that</strongs><strongs number="2249">we</strongs>might be <strongs number="1096">made</strongs>the <strongs number="1343">righteousness</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="846">him</strongs>. </verse>
