      <verse number='9'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>grape <strongs number="1219">gatherers</strongs><strongs number="935">come</strongs>to thee, would they <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7604">leave</strongs><em> some </em>gleaning <strongs number="5955">grapes</strongs>? <strongs number="518">if</strongs><strongs number="1590">thieves</strongs>by <strongs number="3915">night</strongs>, they will <strongs number="7843">destroy</strongs>till they have <strongs number="1767">enough</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="3588">But</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs>have made <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="6215">Esau</strongs><strongs number="2834">bare</strongs>, I have <strongs number="1540">uncovered</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his secret <strongs number="4565">places</strongs>, and he shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="3201">able</strongs>to hide <strongs number="2247">himself</strongs>: his <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>is <strongs number="7703">spoiled</strongs>, and his <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, and his <strongs number="7934">neighbors</strongs>, and he <em> is </em><strongs number="369">not</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="5800">Leave</strongs>thy fatherless <strongs number="3490">children</strongs>, <strongs number="589">I</strongs>will preserve <em> them </em><strongs number="2421">alive</strongs>; and let thy <strongs number="490">widows</strongs><strongs number="982">trust</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, they <strongs number="834">whose</strongs><strongs number="4941">judgment</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="369">not</strongs>to <strongs number="8354">drink</strongs>of the <strongs number="3563">cup</strongs>have assuredly <strongs number="8354 8354">drunken</strongs>; and <em> art </em><strongs number="859">thou</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs><em> that </em>shall altogether go <strongs number="5352 5352">unpunished</strongs>? thou shalt <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>go <strongs number="5352">unpunished</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">but</strongs>thou shalt surely <strongs number="8354 8354">drink</strongs><em> of </em><em> it </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>I have <strongs number="7650">sworn</strongs>by myself, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="1224">Bozrah</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">become</strongs>a <strongs number="8047">desolation</strongs>, a <strongs number="2781">reproach</strongs>, a <strongs number="2721">waste</strongs>, and a <strongs number="7045">curse</strongs>; and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>thereof shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="5769">perpetual</strongs><strongs number="2723">wastes</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>I have <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs>a <strongs number="8052">rumor</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">from</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and an <strongs number="6735">ambassador</strongs>is <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>unto the <strongs number="1471">heathen</strongs>, <em> saying </em>, Gather ye <strongs number="6908">together</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>her, and rise <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>to the <strongs number="4421">battle</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">lo</strongs>, I will <strongs number="5414">make</strongs>thee <strongs number="6996">small</strongs>among the <strongs number="1471">heathen</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="959">despised</strongs>among <strongs number="120">men</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>Thy <strongs number="8606">terribleness</strongs>hath <strongs number="5377">deceived</strongs>thee, <em> and </em>the <strongs number="2087">pride</strongs>of thine <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>, O thou that <strongs number="7931">dwellest</strongs>in the <strongs number="2288">clefts</strongs>of the <strongs number="5553">rock</strongs>, that <strongs number="8610">holdest</strongs>the <strongs number="4791">height</strongs>of the <strongs number="1389">hill</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">though</strongs>thou shouldest make thy <strongs number="7064">nest</strongs>as <strongs number="1361">high</strongs>as the <strongs number="5404">eagle</strongs>, I will bring thee <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 8033">thence</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>Also <strongs number="123">Edom</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="8047">desolation</strongs>: every <strongs number="3605">one</strongs>that <strongs number="5674">goeth</strongs><strongs number="5921">by</strongs>it shall be <strongs number="8074">astonished</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="8319">hiss</strongs><strongs number="5921">at</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4347">plagues</strongs>thereof. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>As in the <strongs number="4114">overthrow</strongs>of <strongs number="5467">Sodom</strongs>and <strongs number="6017">Gomorrah</strongs>and the <strongs number="7934">neighbor</strongs><em> cities </em>thereof, <strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs>shall <strongs number="3427">abide</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>shall a <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="120">man</strongs><strongs number="1481">dwell</strongs>in it. </verse>

      <verse number='20'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>the <strongs number="6098">counsel</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs>he hath <strongs number="3289">taken</strongs><strongs number="413">against</strongs><strongs number="123">Edom</strongs>; and his <strongs number="4284">purposes</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs>he hath <strongs number="2803">purposed</strongs><strongs number="413">against</strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of <strongs number="8487">Teman</strongs>: <strongs number="518 3808">Surely</strongs>the <strongs number="6810">least</strongs>of the <strongs number="6629">flock</strongs>shall draw them <strongs number="5498">out</strongs>: <strongs number="518 3808">surely</strongs>he shall make their <strongs number="5116">habitations</strongs><strongs number="8074">desolate</strongs><strongs number="5921">with</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>The <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>is <strongs number="7493">moved</strongs>at the <strongs number="4480 6963">noise</strongs>of their <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>, at the <strongs number="6818">cry</strongs>the <strongs number="6963">noise</strongs>thereof was <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs>in the <strongs number="5488">Red</strongs><strongs number="3220">sea</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'><strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, he shall come <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>and <strongs number="1675">fly</strongs>as the <strongs number="5404">eagle</strongs>, and <strongs number="6566">spread</strongs>his <strongs number="3671">wings</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs><strongs number="1224">Bozrah</strongs>: and at <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>shall the <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>of the mighty <strongs number="1368">men</strongs>of <strongs number="123">Edom</strongs><strongs number="1961">be</strongs>as the <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>of a <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>in her <strongs number="6887">pangs</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>Concerning <strongs number="1834">Damascus</strongs>. <strongs number="2574">Hamath</strongs>is <strongs number="954">confounded</strongs>, and <strongs number="774">Arpad</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>they have <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="8052">tidings</strongs>: they are <strongs number="4127">fainthearted</strongs>; <em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="1674">sorrow</strongs>on the <strongs number="3220">sea</strongs>; it <strongs number="3808 3201">cannot</strongs>be <strongs number="8252">quiet</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'><strongs number="1834">Damascus</strongs>is waxed <strongs number="7503">feeble</strongs>, <em> and </em>turneth <strongs number="6437">herself</strongs>to <strongs number="5127">flee</strongs>, and <strongs number="7374">fear</strongs>hath <strongs number="2388">seized</strongs>on <em> her </em>: <strongs number="6869">anguish</strongs>and <strongs number="2256">sorrows</strongs>have <strongs number="270">taken</strongs>her, as a woman in <strongs number="3205">travail</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='25'><strongs number="349">How</strongs>is the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>of <strongs number="8416">praise</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5800">left</strongs>, the <strongs number="7151">city</strongs>of my <strongs number="4885">joy</strongs>! </verse>
      <verse number='26'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs>her young <strongs number="970">men</strongs>shall <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>in her <strongs number="7339">streets</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>of <strongs number="4421">war</strongs>shall be cut <strongs number="1826">off</strongs>in <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='27'>And I will <strongs number="3341">kindle</strongs>a <strongs number="784">fire</strongs>in the <strongs number="2346">wall</strongs>of <strongs number="1834">Damascus</strongs>, and it shall <strongs number="398">consume</strongs>the <strongs number="759">palaces</strongs>of <strongs number="1130">Ben</strongs>-hadad. </verse>
      <verse number='28'>Concerning <strongs number="6938">Kedar</strongs>, and concerning the <strongs number="4467">kingdoms</strongs>of <strongs number="2674">Hazor</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="5019">Nebuchadnezzar</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="894">Babylon</strongs>shall <strongs number="5221">smite</strongs>, <strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; <strongs number="6965">Arise</strongs>ye, go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="6938">Kedar</strongs>, and <strongs number="7703">spoil</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1121">men</strongs>of the <strongs number="6924">east</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='29'>Their <strongs number="168">tents</strongs>and their <strongs number="6629">flocks</strongs>shall they take <strongs number="3947">away</strongs>: they shall <strongs number="5375">take</strongs>to themselves their <strongs number="3407">curtains</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>their <strongs number="3627">vessels</strongs>, and their <strongs number="1581">camels</strongs>; and they shall <strongs number="7121">cry</strongs><strongs number="5921">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="4032">Fear</strongs><em> is </em>on every <strongs number="4480 5439">side</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='37'>For I will cause <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="5867">Elam</strongs>to be <strongs number="2865">dismayed</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>their <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>, and <strongs number="6440">before</strongs>them that <strongs number="1245">seek</strongs>their <strongs number="5315">life</strongs>: and I will <strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>them, <em> even </em><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="2740">fierce</strongs><strongs number="639">anger</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; and I will <strongs number="7971">send</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs>them, <strongs number="5704">till</strongs>I have <strongs number="3615">consumed</strongs>them: </verse>
      <verse number='38'>And I will <strongs number="7760">set</strongs>my <strongs number="3678">throne</strongs>in <strongs number="5867">Elam</strongs>, and will <strongs number="6">destroy</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 8033">thence</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>and the <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='39'>But it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>in the <strongs number="319">latter</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>, <em> that </em>I will bring <strongs number="7725">again</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="7622">captivity</strongs>of <strongs number="5867">Elam</strongs>, <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
