Their tentsand their flocksshall they take away: they shall taketo themselves their curtains, and alltheir vessels, and their camels; and they shall cryuntothem, Fear is on every side. Flee, getyou far off, dwelldeep, O ye inhabitantsof Hazor, saiththe LORD; forNebuchadnezzarkingof Babylonhath takencounselagainstyou, and hath conceiveda purposeagainstyou. Arise, get you upuntothe wealthynation, that dwellethwithout care, saiththe LORD, which have neithergatesnorbars, which dwellalone. And their camelsshall bea booty, and the multitudeof their cattlea spoil: and I will scatterinto allwindsthem that are in the utmostcorners; and I will bringtheir calamityfrom allsidesthereof, saiththe LORD. And Hazorshall bea dwellingfor dragons, and a desolationforever: there shall nomanabidethere, nor any sonof mandwellin it. The wordof the LORDthatcametoJeremiahthe prophetagainstElamin the beginningof the reignof Zedekiahkingof Judah, saying, Thussaiththe LORDof hosts; Behold, I will breakthe bowof Elam, the chiefof their might. And uponElamwill I bringthe fourwindsfrom the fourquartersof heaven, and will scatterthem toward allthosewinds; and there shall benonationwhitherthe outcastsof Elamshall notcome. For I will cause Elamto be dismayedbeforetheir enemies, and beforethem that seektheir life: and I will bringeviluponthem, even my fierceanger, saiththe LORD; and I will sendthe swordafterthem, tillI have consumedthem: And I will setmy thronein Elam, and will destroyfrom thencethe kingand the princes, saiththe LORD. But it shall come to passin the latterdays, that I will bring againthe captivityof Elam, saiththe LORD.
