      <verse number='1'><strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>maketh the earth <strongs number="1238 776">empty</strongs>, and maketh it <strongs number="1110">waste</strongs>, and turneth it upside <strongs number="5753 6440">down</strongs>, and scattereth <strongs number="6327">abroad</strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>thereof. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And it shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>, as with the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, so with the <strongs number="3548">priest</strongs>; as with the <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>, so with his <strongs number="113">master</strongs>; as with the <strongs number="8198">maid</strongs>, so with her <strongs number="1404">mistress</strongs>; as with the <strongs number="7069">buyer</strongs>, so with the <strongs number="4376">seller</strongs>; as with the <strongs number="3867">lender</strongs>, so with the <strongs number="3867">borrower</strongs>; as with the taker of <strongs number="5383">usury</strongs>, <strongs number="834">so</strongs>with the giver of <strongs number="5378">usury</strongs>to him. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>The <strongs number="776">land</strongs>shall be utterly <strongs number="1238 1238">emptied</strongs>, and utterly <strongs number="962 962">spoiled</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="1697">word</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>The <strongs number="776">earth</strongs><strongs number="56">mourneth</strongs><em> and </em>fadeth <strongs number="5034">away</strongs>, the <strongs number="8398">world</strongs><strongs number="535">languisheth</strongs><em> and </em>fadeth <strongs number="5034">away</strongs>, the <strongs number="4791">haughty</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>do <strongs number="535">languish</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>The <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>also is <strongs number="2610">defiled</strongs><strongs number="8478">under</strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>thereof; <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>they have <strongs number="5674">transgressed</strongs>the <strongs number="8451">laws</strongs>, <strongs number="2498">changed</strongs>the <strongs number="2706">ordinance</strongs>, <strongs number="6565">broken</strongs>the <strongs number="5769">everlasting</strongs><strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="5921 3651">Therefore</strongs>hath the <strongs number="423">curse</strongs><strongs number="398">devoured</strongs>the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>, and they that <strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs>therein are <strongs number="816">desolate</strongs>: <strongs number="5921 3651">therefore</strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>are <strongs number="2787">burned</strongs>, and <strongs number="4213">few</strongs><strongs number="582">men</strongs><strongs number="7604">left</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>The new <strongs number="8492">wine</strongs><strongs number="56">mourneth</strongs>, the <strongs number="1612">vine</strongs><strongs number="535">languisheth</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="8056 3820">merryhearted</strongs>do <strongs number="584">sigh</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>The <strongs number="4885">mirth</strongs>of <strongs number="8596">tabrets</strongs><strongs number="7673">ceaseth</strongs>, the <strongs number="7588">noise</strongs>of them that <strongs number="5947">rejoice</strongs><strongs number="2308">endeth</strongs>, the <strongs number="4885">joy</strongs>of the <strongs number="3658">harp</strongs><strongs number="7673">ceaseth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>They shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="8354">drink</strongs><strongs number="3196">wine</strongs>with a <strongs number="7892">song</strongs>; strong <strongs number="7941">drink</strongs>shall be <strongs number="4843">bitter</strongs>to them that <strongs number="8354">drink</strongs>it. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>The <strongs number="7151">city</strongs>of <strongs number="8414">confusion</strongs>is broken <strongs number="7665">down</strongs>: <strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="1004">house</strongs>is shut <strongs number="5462">up</strongs>, that no man may come <strongs number="4480 935">in</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'><em> There </em><em> is </em>a <strongs number="6682">crying</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs><strongs number="3196">wine</strongs>in the <strongs number="2351">streets</strongs>; <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="8057">joy</strongs>is <strongs number="6150">darkened</strongs>, the <strongs number="4885">mirth</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>is <strongs number="1540">gone</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>In the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>is <strongs number="7604">left</strongs><strongs number="8047">desolation</strongs>, and the <strongs number="8179">gate</strongs>is <strongs number="3807">smitten</strongs>with <strongs number="7591">destruction</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><strongs number="3588">When</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs>it shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>in the <strongs number="7130">midst</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="8432">among</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <em> there </em><em> shall </em><em> be </em>as the <strongs number="5363">shaking</strongs>of an olive <strongs number="2132">tree</strongs>, <em> and </em>as the gleaning <strongs number="5955">grapes</strongs><strongs number="518">when</strongs>the <strongs number="1210">vintage</strongs>is <strongs number="3615">done</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'><strongs number="1992">They</strongs>shall lift <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>their <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>, they shall <strongs number="7442">sing</strongs>for the <strongs number="1347">majesty</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, they shall cry <strongs number="6670">aloud</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 3220">sea</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="5921 3651">Wherefore</strongs><strongs number="3513">glorify</strongs>ye the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>in the <strongs number="217">fires</strongs>, <em> even </em>the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>in the <strongs number="339">isles</strongs>of the <strongs number="3220">sea</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>From the uttermost <strongs number="4480 3671">part</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>have we <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="2158">songs</strongs>, <em> even </em><strongs number="6643">glory</strongs>to the <strongs number="6662">righteous</strongs>. But I <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, My <strongs number="7334">leanness</strongs>, my <strongs number="7334">leanness</strongs>, <strongs number="188">woe</strongs>unto me! the treacherous <strongs number="898">dealers</strongs>have dealt <strongs number="898">treacherously</strongs>; yea, the treacherous <strongs number="898">dealers</strongs>have dealt very <strongs number="898 899">treacherously</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="6343">Fear</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6354">pit</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6341">snare</strongs>, <em> are </em><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>thee, O <strongs number="3427">inhabitant</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, <em> that </em>he who <strongs number="5127">fleeth</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 6963">noise</strongs>of the <strongs number="6343">fear</strongs>shall <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs><strongs number="413">into</strongs>the <strongs number="6354">pit</strongs>; and he that cometh <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 8432">midst</strongs>of the <strongs number="6354">pit</strongs>shall be <strongs number="3920">taken</strongs>in the <strongs number="6341">snare</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="699">windows</strongs>from on <strongs number="4480 4791">high</strongs>are <strongs number="6605">open</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4146">foundations</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>do <strongs number="7493">shake</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>The <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>is utterly broken <strongs number="7489 7489">down</strongs>, the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>is clean <strongs number="6565 6565">dissolved</strongs>, the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>is moved <strongs number="4131 4131">exceedingly</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>The <strongs number="776">earth</strongs>shall reel to and <strongs number="5128 5128">fro</strongs>like a <strongs number="7910">drunkard</strongs>, and shall be <strongs number="5110">removed</strongs>like a <strongs number="4412">cottage</strongs>; and the <strongs number="6588">transgression</strongs>thereof shall be <strongs number="3513">heavy</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>it; and it shall <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>, and <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="6965">rise</strongs><strongs number="3254">again</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>in <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, <em> that </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall <strongs number="6485 5921">punish</strongs>the <strongs number="6635">host</strongs>of the high <strongs number="4791">ones</strongs><em> that </em><em> are </em>on <strongs number="4791">high</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of the <strongs number="127">earth</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="127">earth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And they shall be gathered <strongs number="622">together</strongs>, <em> as </em><strongs number="616">prisoners</strongs>are <strongs number="626">gathered</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>the <strongs number="953">pit</strongs>, and shall be shut <strongs number="5462">up</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>the <strongs number="4525">prison</strongs>, and after <strongs number="4480 7230">many</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>shall they be <strongs number="6485">visited</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>Then the <strongs number="3842">moon</strongs>shall be <strongs number="2659">confounded</strongs>, and the <strongs number="2535">sun</strongs><strongs number="954">ashamed</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>shall <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs>in <strongs number="2022">mount</strongs><strongs number="6726">Zion</strongs>, and in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, and <strongs number="5048">before</strongs>his <strongs number="2205">ancients</strongs><strongs number="3519">gloriously</strongs>. </verse>
