      <verse number='1'><strongs number="1161">Now</strongs><strongs number="1909">of</strongs>the things which we have <strongs number="3004">spoken</strongs><em> this </em><em> is </em>the <strongs number="2774">sum</strongs>: We <strongs number="2192">have</strongs><strongs number="5108">such</strongs>a high <strongs number="749">priest</strongs>, <strongs number="3739">who</strongs>is <strongs number="2523">set</strongs><strongs number="1722">on</strongs>the right <strongs number="1188">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2362">throne</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3172">Majesty</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3772">heavens</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='2'>A <strongs number="3011">minister</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="39">sanctuary</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="228">true</strongs><strongs number="4633">tabernacle</strongs>, <strongs number="3739">which</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs><strongs number="4078">pitched</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="444">man</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="3956">every</strongs>high <strongs number="749">priest</strongs>is <strongs number="2525">ordained</strongs>to <strongs number="4374">offer</strongs><strongs number="1435">gifts</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="2378">sacrifices</strongs>: <strongs number="3606">wherefore</strongs><em> it </em><em> is </em>of <strongs number="316">necessity</strongs>that this <strongs number="5126">man</strongs><strongs number="2192">have</strongs><strongs number="5100 3739">somewhat</strongs><strongs number="2532">also</strongs>to <strongs number="4374">offer</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="1487">if</strongs><strongs number="*3303">he</strongs><strongs number="2258">were</strongs><strongs number="1909">on</strongs><strongs number="1093">earth</strongs>, he should <strongs number="3761">not</strongs><strongs number="2258 302">be</strongs>a <strongs number="2409">priest</strongs>, seeing that there <strongs number="5607">are</strongs><strongs number="2409">priests</strongs>that <strongs number="4374">offer</strongs><strongs number="1435">gifts</strongs><strongs number="2596">according</strongs>to <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3551">law</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="3748">Who</strongs><strongs number="3000">serve</strongs>unto the <strongs number="5262">example</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="4639">shadow</strongs>of heavenly <strongs number="2032">things</strongs>, <strongs number="2531">as</strongs><strongs number="3475">Moses</strongs>was admonished of <strongs number="5537">God</strongs>when he was <strongs number="3195">about</strongs>to <strongs number="2005">make</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4633">tabernacle</strongs>: <strongs number="1063">for</strongs>, <strongs number="3708">See</strongs>, <strongs number="5346">saith</strongs>he, <em> that </em>thou <strongs number="4160">make</strongs>all <strongs number="3956">things</strongs><strongs number="2596">according</strongs>to <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="5179">pattern</strongs><strongs number="1166">showed</strongs>to <strongs number="4671">thee</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3735">mount</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="1161">But</strongs><strongs number="3570">now</strongs>hath he <strongs number="5177">obtained</strongs>a more <strongs number="1313">excellent</strongs><strongs number="3009">ministry</strongs>, by how <strongs number="3745">much</strongs><strongs number="2532">also</strongs>he <strongs number="2076">is</strongs>the <strongs number="3316">mediator</strongs>of a <strongs number="2909">better</strongs><strongs number="1242">covenant</strongs>, <strongs number="3748">which</strongs>was <strongs number="3549">established</strongs><strongs number="1909">upon</strongs><strongs number="2909">better</strongs><strongs number="1860">promises</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="1487">if</strongs><strongs number="1565">that</strongs><strongs number="4413">first</strongs><em> covenant </em>had <strongs number="2258">been</strongs><strongs number="273">faultless</strongs>, then should <strongs number="3756">no</strongs><strongs number="5117">place</strongs>have been <strongs number="2212">sought</strongs>for the <strongs number="1208">second</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>finding <strongs number="3201">fault</strongs>with <strongs number="846">them</strongs>, he <strongs number="3004">saith</strongs>, <strongs number="2400">Behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="2250">days</strongs><strongs number="2064">come</strongs>, <strongs number="3004">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">when</strongs>I will <strongs number="4931">make</strongs>a <strongs number="2537">new</strongs><strongs number="1242">covenant</strongs><strongs number="1909">with</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3624">house</strongs>of <strongs number="2474">Israel</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="1909">with</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3624">house</strongs>of <strongs number="2455">Judah</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='9'><strongs number="3756">Not</strongs><strongs number="2596">according</strongs>to <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1242">covenant</strongs><strongs number="3739">that</strongs>I <strongs number="4160">made</strongs>with <strongs number="846">their</strongs><strongs number="3962">fathers</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs>the <strongs number="2250">day</strongs>when <strongs number="3450">I</strongs><strongs number="1949">took</strongs><strongs number="846">them</strongs>by <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="5495">hand</strongs>to <strongs number="1806">lead</strongs><strongs number="846">them</strongs>out <strongs number="1537">of</strongs>the <strongs number="1093">land</strongs>of <strongs number="125">Egypt</strongs>; <strongs number="3754">because</strongs><strongs number="846">they</strongs><strongs number="1696">continued</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3450">my</strongs><strongs number="1242">covenant</strongs>, and <strongs number="2504">I</strongs>regarded them <strongs number="272 846">not</strongs>, <strongs number="3004">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="3754">For</strongs><strongs number="3778">this</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1242">covenant</strongs><strongs number="3739">that</strongs>I will <strongs number="1303">make</strongs>with <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3624">house</strongs>of <strongs number="2474">Israel</strongs><strongs number="3326">after</strongs><strongs number="1565">those</strongs><strongs number="2250">days</strongs>, <strongs number="3004">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs>; I will <strongs number="1325">put</strongs><strongs number="3450">my</strongs><strongs number="3551">laws</strongs><strongs number="1519">into</strongs><strongs number="846">their</strongs><strongs number="1271">mind</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="1924">write</strongs><strongs number="846">them</strongs><strongs number="1909">in</strongs><strongs number="846">their</strongs><strongs number="2588">hearts</strongs>: <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>I will <strongs number="2071">be</strongs>to <strongs number="846">them</strongs><strongs number="*1519">a</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="846">they</strongs>shall <strongs number="2071">be</strongs>to <strongs number="3427">me</strongs><strongs number="*1519">a</strongs><strongs number="2992">people</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs>they shall <strongs number="3364">not</strongs><strongs number="1321">teach</strongs>every <strongs number="1538">man</strongs><strongs number="848">his</strongs><strongs number="4139">neighbor</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>every <strongs number="1538">man</strongs><strongs number="848">his</strongs><strongs number="80">brother</strongs>, <strongs number="3004">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="1097">Know</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs>: <strongs number="3754">for</strongs><strongs number="3956">all</strongs>shall <strongs number="1492">know</strongs><strongs number="3165">me</strongs>, <strongs number="575">from</strongs>the <strongs number="3398 *846">least</strongs><strongs number="2193">to</strongs>the <strongs number="3173 *846">greatest</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="3754">For</strongs>I will <strongs number="2071">be</strongs><strongs number="2436">merciful</strongs>to <strongs number="846">their</strongs><strongs number="93">unrighteousness</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="846">their</strongs><strongs number="266">sins</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="846">their</strongs><strongs number="458">iniquities</strongs>will I <strongs number="3415">remember</strongs>no <strongs number="3364 2089">more</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>In that he <strongs number="3004">saith</strongs>, A <strongs number="2537">new</strongs><em> covenant, </em>he hath made the first <strongs number="3822 3588 4413">old</strongs>. <strongs number="1161">Now</strongs>that which <strongs number="3822">decayeth</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs>waxeth <strongs number="1095">old</strongs><em> is </em>ready to vanish <strongs number="1451 854">away</strongs>. </verse>
