      <verse number='1'><strongs number="1487">If</strongs>ye <strongs number="3767">then</strongs>be risen <strongs number="4891">with</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>, <strongs number="2212">seek</strongs>those things which are <strongs number="507">above</strongs>, <strongs number="3757">where</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs><strongs number="2076 2521">sitteth</strongs><strongs number="1722">on</strongs>the right <strongs number="1188">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>Set your affection <strongs number="5426">on</strongs>things <strongs number="507">above</strongs>, <strongs number="3361">not</strongs>on <strongs number="3588">things</strongs><strongs number="1909">on</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1093">earth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>ye are <strongs number="599">dead</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="5216">your</strongs><strongs number="2222">life</strongs>is <strongs number="2928">hid</strongs><strongs number="4862">with</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="3752">When</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>, <em> who </em><em> is </em><strongs number="2257">our</strongs><strongs number="2222">life</strongs>, shall <strongs number="5319">appear</strongs>, <strongs number="5119">then</strongs>shall <strongs number="5210">ye</strongs><strongs number="2532">also</strongs><strongs number="5319">appear</strongs><strongs number="4862">with</strongs><strongs number="846">him</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="1391">glory</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="3499">Mortify</strongs><strongs number="3767">therefore</strongs><strongs number="5216">your</strongs><strongs number="3196">members</strongs><strongs number="3588">which</strongs>are <strongs number="1909">upon</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1093">earth</strongs>; <strongs number="4202">fornication</strongs>, <strongs number="167">uncleanness</strongs>, inordinate <strongs number="3806">affection</strongs>, <strongs number="2556">evil</strongs><strongs number="1939">concupiscence</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="4124">covetousness</strongs>, <strongs number="3748">which</strongs><strongs number="2076">is</strongs><strongs number="1495">idolatry</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='6'>For which things' <strongs number="1223 3739">sake</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3709">wrath</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs><strongs number="2064">cometh</strongs><strongs number="1909">on</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="5207">children</strongs>of <strongs number="543">disobedience</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="1722">In</strongs>the <strongs number="3739">which</strongs><strongs number="5210">ye</strongs><strongs number="2532">also</strongs><strongs number="4043">walked</strongs>some <strongs number="4218">time</strongs>, <strongs number="3753">when</strongs>ye <strongs number="2198">lived</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="846">them</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='11'><strongs number="3699">Where</strongs>there <strongs number="1762">is</strongs><strongs number="3756">neither</strongs><strongs number="1672">Greek</strongs><strongs number="2532">nor</strongs><strongs number="2453">Jew</strongs>, <strongs number="4061">circumcision</strongs><strongs number="2532">nor</strongs><strongs number="203">uncircumcision</strongs>, <strongs number="915">Barbarian</strongs>, <strongs number="4658">Scythian</strongs>, <strongs number="1401">bond</strongs><em> nor </em><strongs number="1658">free</strongs>: <strongs number="235">but</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="3956">all</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3956">all</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>Put <strongs number="1746">on</strongs><strongs number="3767">therefore</strongs>, <strongs number="5613">as</strongs>the <strongs number="1588">elect</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, <strongs number="40">holy</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="25">beloved</strongs>, <strongs number="4698">bowels</strongs>of <strongs number="3628">mercies</strongs>, <strongs number="5544">kindness</strongs>, humbleness of <strongs number="5012">mind</strongs>, <strongs number="4236">meekness</strongs>, <strongs number="3115">longsuffering</strongs>; </verse>

      <verse number='18'><strongs number="1135">Wives</strongs>, submit <strongs number="5293">yourselves</strongs>unto your <strongs number="2398">own</strongs><strongs number="435">husbands</strongs>, <strongs number="5613">as</strongs>it is <strongs number="433">fit</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs>the <strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs>. </verse>
