      <verse number='1'><strongs number="3588">When</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>hath cut <strongs number="3772">off</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whose</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="5414">giveth</strongs>thee, and thou <strongs number="3423">succeedest</strongs>them, and <strongs number="3427">dwellest</strongs>in their <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>, and in their <strongs number="1004">houses</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='2'>Thou shalt <strongs number="914">separate</strongs><strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>for thee in the <strongs number="8432">midst</strongs>of thy <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="5414">giveth</strongs>thee to <strongs number="3423">possess</strongs>it. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>Thou shalt <strongs number="3559">prepare</strongs>thee a <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>, and <strongs number="8027">divide</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1366">coasts</strongs>of thy <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>giveth thee to <strongs number="5157">inherit</strongs>, into three parts, that <strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="7523">slayer</strongs><strongs number="1961">may</strongs><strongs number="5127">flee</strongs><strongs number="8033">thither</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='12'>Then the <strongs number="2205">elders</strongs>of his <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>shall <strongs number="7971">send</strongs>and <strongs number="3947">fetch</strongs>him <strongs number="4480 8033">thence</strongs>, and <strongs number="5414">deliver</strongs>him into the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="1350">avenger</strongs>of <strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>, that he may <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='15'><strongs number="259">One</strongs><strongs number="5707">witness</strongs>shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>rise <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>against a <strongs number="376">man</strongs>for <strongs number="3605">any</strongs><strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>, or for <strongs number="3605">any</strongs><strongs number="2403">sin</strongs>, in <strongs number="3605">any</strongs><strongs number="2399">sin</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>he <strongs number="2398">sinneth</strongs>: <strongs number="5921">at</strongs>the <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>of <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="5707">witnesses</strongs>, <strongs number="176">or</strongs><strongs number="5921">at</strongs>the <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>of <strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="5707">witnesses</strongs>, shall the <strongs number="1697">matter</strongs>be <strongs number="6965">established</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'><strongs number="3588">If</strongs>a <strongs number="2555">false</strongs><strongs number="5707">witness</strongs>rise <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>against any <strongs number="376">man</strongs>to <strongs number="6030">testify</strongs>against him <em> that </em><em> which </em><em> is </em><strongs number="5627">wrong</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='17'>Then <strongs number="8147">both</strongs>the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>, between <strongs number="834">whom</strongs>the <strongs number="7379">controversy</strongs><em> is </em>, shall <strongs number="5975">stand</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>and the <strongs number="8199">judges</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>in <strongs number="1992">those</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And the <strongs number="8199">judges</strongs>shall make diligent <strongs number="1875 3190">inquisition</strongs>: and, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, <em> if </em>the <strongs number="5707">witness</strongs><em> be </em>a <strongs number="8267">false</strongs><strongs number="5707">witness</strongs>, <em> and </em>hath <strongs number="6030">testified</strongs><strongs number="8267">falsely</strongs>against his <strongs number="251">brother</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='19'>Then shall ye <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>unto him, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>he had <strongs number="2161">thought</strongs>to have <strongs number="6213">done</strongs>unto his <strongs number="251">brother</strongs>: so shalt thou put the evil <strongs number="1197 7451">away</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 7130">among</strongs>you. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And those which <strongs number="7604">remain</strongs>shall <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>, and <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="3254">henceforth</strongs><strongs number="6213">commit</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="5750">more</strongs><strongs number="1697">any</strongs><strongs number="2088">such</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="7130">among</strongs>you. </verse>
