      <verse number='2'>How <strongs number="3754">that</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs>a <strongs number="4183">great</strongs><strongs number="1382">trial</strongs>of <strongs number="2347">affliction</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4050">abundance</strongs>of <strongs number="846">their</strongs><strongs number="5479">joy</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="846">their</strongs><strongs number="899">deep</strongs><strongs number="4432">poverty</strongs><strongs number="4052">abounded</strongs><strongs number="1519">unto</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4149">riches</strongs>of <strongs number="846">their</strongs><strongs number="572">liberality</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="3754">For</strongs><strongs number="2596">to</strongs><em> their </em><strongs number="1411">power</strongs>, I bear <strongs number="3140">record</strongs>, yea, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="5228">beyond</strongs><em> their </em><strongs number="1411">power</strongs><em> they </em><em> were </em>willing of <strongs number="830">themselves</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="1189">Praying</strongs><strongs number="2257">us</strongs><strongs number="3326">with</strongs><strongs number="4183">much</strongs><strongs number="3874">entreaty</strongs>that <strongs number="2248">we</strongs>would <strongs number="1209">receive</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="5485">gift</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><em> take </em><em> upon </em><em> us </em><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2842">fellowship</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1248">ministering</strongs><strongs number="1519">to</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="40">saints</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs><em> this </em><em> they </em><em> did, </em><strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="2531">as</strongs>we <strongs number="1679">hoped</strongs>, <strongs number="235">but</strongs><strongs number="4412">first</strongs><strongs number="1325">gave</strongs>their own <strongs number="1438">selves</strongs>to <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>unto <strongs number="2254">us</strongs><strongs number="1223">by</strongs>the <strongs number="2307">will</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>Insomuch that <strongs number="2248">we</strongs><strongs number="3870">desired</strongs><strongs number="5103">Titus</strongs>, <strongs number="2443">that</strongs><strongs number="2531">as</strongs>he had <strongs number="4278">begun</strongs>, <strongs number="3779">so</strongs>he would <strongs number="2532">also</strongs><strongs number="2005">finish</strongs><strongs number="1519">in</strongs><strongs number="5209">you</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="5026">same</strongs><strongs number="5485">grace</strongs><strongs number="2532">also</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='8'>I <strongs number="3004">speak</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="2596">by</strongs><strongs number="2003">commandment</strongs>, <strongs number="235">but</strongs>by occasion <strongs number="1223">of</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4710">forwardness</strongs>of <strongs number="2087">others</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>to <strongs number="1381">prove</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1103">sincerity</strongs>of <strongs number="5212">your</strongs><strongs number="26">love</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>ye <strongs number="1097">know</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="5485">grace</strongs>of <strongs number="2257">our</strongs><strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs><strongs number="2424">Jesus</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>, <strongs number="3754">that</strongs>, though he <strongs number="5607">was</strongs><strongs number="4145">rich</strongs>, yet for your <strongs number="1223 5209">sakes</strongs>he became <strongs number="4433">poor</strongs>, <strongs number="2443">that</strongs><strongs number="5210">ye</strongs>through <strongs number="1565">his</strongs><strongs number="4432">poverty</strongs>might be <strongs number="4147">rich</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='16'><strongs number="1161">But</strongs><strongs number="5485">thanks</strongs><em> be </em>to <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, which <strongs number="1325">put</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="846">same</strongs>earnest <strongs number="4710">care</strongs><strongs number="1722">into</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2588">heart</strongs>of <strongs number="5103">Titus</strongs><strongs number="5228">for</strongs><strongs number="5216">you</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="3754">For</strongs><strongs number="3303">indeed</strongs>he <strongs number="1209">accepted</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3874">exhortation</strongs>; <strongs number="1161">but</strongs><strongs number="5225">being</strongs>more <strongs number="4707">forward</strongs>, of his own <strongs number="830">accord</strongs>he <strongs number="1831">went</strongs><strongs number="4314">unto</strongs><strongs number="5209">you</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='20'><strongs number="4724">Avoiding</strongs><strongs number="5124">this</strongs>, that <strongs number="3361">no</strongs><strongs number="5100">man</strongs>should <strongs number="3469">blame</strongs><strongs number="2248">us</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="5026">this</strongs><strongs number="100">abundance</strongs>which is <strongs number="1247">administered</strongs><strongs number="5259">by</strongs><strongs number="2257">us</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='21'>Providing <strongs number="4306">for</strongs>honest <strongs number="2570">things</strongs>, <strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="3440">only</strongs>in the <strongs number="1799">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs>, <strongs number="235">but</strongs><strongs number="2532">also</strongs>in the <strongs number="1799">sight</strongs>of <strongs number="444">men</strongs>. </verse>
