      <verse number='1'><strongs number="1161">But</strongs>I <strongs number="2919">determined</strongs><strongs number="5124">this</strongs>with <strongs number="1683">myself</strongs>, that I would <strongs number="3361">not</strongs><strongs number="2064">come</strongs><strongs number="3825">again</strongs><strongs number="4314">to</strongs><strongs number="5209">you</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3077">heaviness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="1487">if</strongs><strongs number="1473">I</strongs>make you <strongs number="3076 5209">sorry</strongs>, <strongs number="5101">who</strongs><strongs number="2076">is</strongs>he then that maketh me <strongs number="2165 3165">glad</strongs>, <strongs number="1508">but</strongs>the same which is made <strongs number="3076">sorry</strongs><strongs number="1537">by</strongs><strongs number="1700">me</strongs>? </verse>

      <verse number='6'><strongs number="2425">Sufficient</strongs>to such a <strongs number="5108">man</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="3778">this</strongs><strongs number="2009">punishment</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">which</strongs><em> was </em><em> inflicted </em><strongs number="5259">of</strongs><strongs number="4119">many</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>So <strongs number="5620">that</strongs><strongs number="5121">contrariwise</strongs><strongs number="5209">ye</strongs><em> ought </em><strongs number="3123">rather</strongs>to <strongs number="5483">forgive</strongs><em> him, </em><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3870">comfort</strongs><em> him, </em><strongs number="3381">lest</strongs>perhaps such a <strongs number="5108">one</strongs>should be swallowed <strongs number="2666">up</strongs>with <strongs number="4055">overmuch</strongs><strongs number="3077">sorrow</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="1352">Wherefore</strongs>I <strongs number="3870">beseech</strongs><strongs number="5209">you</strongs>that ye would <strongs number="2964">confirm</strongs><em> your </em><strongs number="26">love</strongs><strongs number="1519">toward</strongs><strongs number="846">him</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='11'><strongs number="3363">Lest</strongs><strongs number="4567">Satan</strongs>should get an <strongs number="4122">advantage</strongs>of us: <strongs number="1063">for</strongs>we are not <strongs number="50 3756">ignorant</strongs>of <strongs number="846">his</strongs><strongs number="3540">devices</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>Furthermore, when I <strongs number="2064">came</strongs><strongs number="1519">to</strongs><strongs number="5174">Troas</strongs><strongs number="1519">to</strongs><em> preach </em><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>'s <strongs number="2098">gospel</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>a <strongs number="2374">door</strongs>was <strongs number="455">opened</strongs>unto <strongs number="3427">me</strongs><strongs number="1722">of</strongs>the <strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs>, </verse>
