      <verse number='1'><strongs number="1161">Now</strongs>as <strongs number="4012">touching</strongs>things offered unto <strongs number="1494">idols</strongs>, we <strongs number="1492">know</strongs><strongs number="3754">that</strongs>we <strongs number="3956">all</strongs><strongs number="2192">have</strongs><strongs number="1108">knowledge</strongs>. <strongs number="1108">Knowledge</strongs>puffeth <strongs number="5448">up</strongs>, <strongs number="1161">but</strongs><strongs number="26">charity</strongs><strongs number="3618">edifieth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="1161">And</strongs><strongs number="1487">if</strongs>any <strongs number="5100">man</strongs><strongs number="1380">think</strongs>that he <strongs number="1492">knoweth</strongs>any <strongs number="5100">thing</strongs>, he <strongs number="1097">knoweth</strongs><strongs number="3762">nothing</strongs><strongs number="3764">yet</strongs><strongs number="2531">as</strongs>he <strongs number="1163">ought</strongs>to <strongs number="1097">know</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="1161">But</strongs><strongs number="1487">if</strongs>any <strongs number="5100">man</strongs><strongs number="25">love</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, the <strongs number="3778">same</strongs>is <strongs number="1097">known</strongs><strongs number="5259">of</strongs><strongs number="846">him</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>As <strongs number="4012">concerning</strongs><strongs number="3767">therefore</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1035">eating</strongs>of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto <strongs number="1494">idols</strongs>, we <strongs number="1492">know</strongs><strongs number="3754">that</strongs>an <strongs number="1497">idol</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="3762">nothing</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs>the <strongs number="2889">world</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3754">that</strongs><em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="3762">none</strongs><strongs number="2087">other</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs><strongs number="1508">but</strongs><strongs number="1520">one</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="2532 1512">though</strongs>there <strongs number="1526">be</strongs>that are <strongs number="3004">called</strongs><strongs number="2316">gods</strongs>, <strongs number="1535">whether</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3772">heaven</strongs><strongs number="1535">or</strongs><strongs number="1909">in</strongs><strongs number="1093">earth</strongs>, ( <strongs number="5618">as</strongs>there <strongs number="1526">be</strongs><strongs number="2316">gods</strongs><strongs number="4183">many</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="2962">lords</strongs><strongs number="4183">many</strongs>,) </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="235">But</strongs>to <strongs number="2254">us</strongs><em> there </em><em> is </em><em> but </em><strongs number="1520">one</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3962">Father</strongs>, <strongs number="1537">of</strongs><strongs number="3739">whom</strongs><em> are </em>all <strongs number="3956">things</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="2249">we</strongs><strongs number="1519">in</strongs><strongs number="846">him</strongs>; <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="1520">one</strongs><strongs number="2962">Lord</strongs><strongs number="2424">Jesus</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>, <strongs number="1223">by</strongs><strongs number="3739">whom</strongs><em> are </em>all <strongs number="3956">things</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="2249">we</strongs><strongs number="1223">by</strongs><strongs number="846">him</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="235">Howbeit</strongs><em> there </em><em> is </em><strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs>every <strongs number="3956">man</strongs>that <strongs number="1108">knowledge</strongs>: <strongs number="1161">for</strongs><strongs number="5100">some</strongs>with <strongs number="4893">conscience</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1497">idol</strongs><strongs number="2193">unto</strongs>this <strongs number="737">hour</strongs><strongs number="2068">eat</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="5613">as</strongs>a thing offered unto an <strongs number="1494">idol</strongs>; <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="848">their</strongs><strongs number="4893">conscience</strongs><strongs number="5607">being</strongs><strongs number="772">weak</strongs>is <strongs number="3435">defiled</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="1161">But</strongs><strongs number="1033">meat</strongs><strongs number="3936">commendeth</strongs><strongs number="2248">us</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs>to <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>: <strongs number="1063">for</strongs><strongs number="3777">neither</strongs>, <strongs number="1437">if</strongs>we <strongs number="5315">eat</strongs>, are we the <strongs number="4052">better</strongs>; <strongs number="3777">neither</strongs>, <strongs number="1437">if</strongs>we <strongs number="5315">eat</strongs><strongs number="3361">not</strongs>, are we the <strongs number="5302">worse</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'><strongs number="1161">But</strongs>take <strongs number="991">heed</strongs>lest by any <strongs number="3381">means</strongs><strongs number="3778">this</strongs><strongs number="1849">liberty</strongs>of <strongs number="5216">yours</strongs><strongs number="1096">become</strongs>a <strongs number="4348">stumblingblock</strongs>to them that are <strongs number="770">weak</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="1437">if</strongs>any <strongs number="5100">man</strongs><strongs number="1492">see</strongs><strongs number="4571">thee</strongs>which <strongs number="2192">hast</strongs><strongs number="1108">knowledge</strongs>sit at <strongs number="2621">meat</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs>the idol's <strongs number="1493">temple</strongs>, shall <strongs number="3780">not</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4893">conscience</strongs>of <strongs number="846">him</strongs>which <strongs number="5607">is</strongs><strongs number="772">weak</strongs>be <strongs number="3618">emboldened</strongs>to <strongs number="2068">eat</strongs>those things which are offered to <strongs number="1494">idols</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs><strongs number="1909">through</strongs><strongs number="4674">thy</strongs><strongs number="1108">knowledge</strongs>shall <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="770">weak</strongs><strongs number="80">brother</strongs><strongs number="622">perish</strongs>, <strongs number="1223">for</strongs><strongs number="3739">whom</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs><strongs number="599">died</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="1161">But</strongs>when ye <strongs number="264">sin</strongs><strongs number="3779">so</strongs><strongs number="1519">against</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="80">brethren</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="5180">wound</strongs><strongs number="848">their</strongs><strongs number="770">weak</strongs><strongs number="4893">conscience</strongs>, ye <strongs number="264">sin</strongs><strongs number="1519">against</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><strongs number="1355">Wherefore</strongs>, <strongs number="1487">if</strongs><strongs number="1033">meat</strongs>make my brother to <strongs number="4624 3450 80">offend</strongs>, I will <strongs number="5315">eat</strongs><strongs number="3364">no</strongs><strongs number="2907">flesh</strongs>while the world <strongs number="1519 3588 165">standeth</strongs>, <strongs number="3363">lest</strongs>I make my brother to <strongs number="4624 3450 80">offend</strongs>. </verse>
