      <verse number='1'><strongs number="1161">And</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="5025">those</strongs><strongs number="2250">days</strongs>, when the number of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3101">disciples</strongs>were <strongs number="4129">multiplied</strongs>, there <strongs number="1096">arose</strongs>a <strongs number="1112">murmuring</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1675">Grecians</strongs><strongs number="4314">against</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1445">Hebrews</strongs>, <strongs number="3754">because</strongs><strongs number="846">their</strongs><strongs number="5503">widows</strongs>were <strongs number="3865">neglected</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2522">daily</strongs><strongs number="1248">ministration</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="1161">Then</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1427">twelve</strongs><strongs number="4341">called</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4128">multitude</strongs>of <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3101">disciples</strongs><em> unto </em><em> them, </em>and <strongs number="2036">said</strongs>, It <strongs number="2076">is</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="701">reason</strongs>that <strongs number="2248">we</strongs>should <strongs number="2641">leave</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3056">word</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, and <strongs number="1247">serve</strongs><strongs number="5132">tables</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="3767">Wherefore</strongs>, <strongs number="80">brethren</strongs>, look ye <strongs number="1980">out</strongs><strongs number="1537">among</strongs><strongs number="5216">you</strongs><strongs number="2033">seven</strongs><strongs number="435">men</strongs>of honest <strongs number="3140">report</strongs>, <strongs number="4134">full</strongs>of the <strongs number="40">Holy</strongs><strongs number="4151">Ghost</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="4678">wisdom</strongs>, <strongs number="3739">whom</strongs>we may <strongs number="2525">appoint</strongs><strongs number="1909">over</strongs><strongs number="5026">this</strongs><strongs number="5532">business</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='10'><strongs number="2532">And</strongs>they were not <strongs number="2480 3756">able</strongs>to <strongs number="436">resist</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4678">wisdom</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4151">spirit</strongs>by <strongs number="3739">which</strongs>he <strongs number="2980">spake</strongs>. </verse>
