<verse number='1'>Again the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs><strongs number="1961">came</strongs><em> to </em><em> me </em>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
|
|
<verse number='2'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>; I was <strongs number="7065">jealous</strongs>for <strongs number="6726">Zion</strongs>with <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="7068">jealousy</strongs>, and I was <strongs number="7065">jealous</strongs>for her with <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="2534">fury</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='3'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; I am <strongs number="7725">returned</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="6726">Zion</strongs>, and will <strongs number="7931">dwell</strongs>in the <strongs number="8432">midst</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>: and <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>shall be <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>a <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>of <strongs number="571">truth</strongs>; and the <strongs number="2022">mountain</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>the <strongs number="6944">holy</strongs><strongs number="2022">mountain</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='4'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>; There shall <strongs number="5750">yet</strongs>old <strongs number="2205">men</strongs>and old <strongs number="2205">women</strongs><strongs number="3427">dwell</strongs>in the <strongs number="7339">streets</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, and every <strongs number="376">man</strongs>with his <strongs number="4938">staff</strongs>in his <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>for <strongs number="4480 7230">very</strongs><strongs number="3117">age</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='5'>And the <strongs number="7339">streets</strongs>of the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>shall be <strongs number="4390">full</strongs>of <strongs number="3206">boys</strongs>and <strongs number="3207">girls</strongs><strongs number="7832">playing</strongs>in the <strongs number="7339">streets</strongs>thereof. </verse>

<verse number='6'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">If</strongs>it be <strongs number="6381">marvelous</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>of the <strongs number="7611">remnant</strongs>of <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>in <strongs number="1992">these</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>, should it <strongs number="1571">also</strongs>be <strongs number="6381">marvelous</strongs>in mine <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>? <strongs number="5002">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='7'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>; <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I will <strongs number="3467">save</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>from the <strongs number="4217">east</strongs><strongs number="4480 776">country</strongs>, and from the <strongs number="3996 8121">west</strongs><strongs number="4480 776">country</strongs>; </verse>

<verse number='8'>And I will <strongs number="935">bring</strongs>them, and they shall <strongs number="7931">dwell</strongs>in the <strongs number="8432">midst</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>: and they shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>my <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, and <strongs number="589">I</strongs>will <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>their <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, in <strongs number="571">truth</strongs>and in <strongs number="6666">righteousness</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='9'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>; Let your <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>be <strongs number="2388">strong</strongs>, ye that <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>in <strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="1697">words</strongs>by the <strongs number="4480 6310">mouth</strongs>of the <strongs number="5030">prophets</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> were </em>in the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs><em> that </em>the foundation of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>was <strongs number="3245">laid</strongs>, that the <strongs number="1964">temple</strongs>might be <strongs number="1129">built</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='10'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs><strongs number="1992">these</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>there <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="7939">hire</strongs>for <strongs number="120">man</strongs>, <strongs number="369">nor</strongs>any <strongs number="7939">hire</strongs>for <strongs number="929">beast</strongs>; <strongs number="369">neither</strongs><em> was </em><em> there </em><em> any </em><strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>to him that went <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>or came <strongs number="935">in</strongs>because <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="6862">affliction</strongs>: for I <strongs number="7971">set</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="120">men</strongs>every <strongs number="376">one</strongs>against his <strongs number="7453">neighbor</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='12'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>the <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs><em> shall </em><em> be </em><strongs number="7965">prosperous</strongs>; the <strongs number="1612">vine</strongs>shall <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>her <strongs number="6529">fruit</strongs>, and the <strongs number="776">ground</strongs>shall <strongs number="5414">give</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>her <strongs number="2981">increase</strongs>, and the <strongs number="8064">heavens</strongs>shall <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>their <strongs number="2919">dew</strongs>; and I will cause <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="7611">remnant</strongs>of <strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>to <strongs number="5157">possess</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs><em> things </em>. </verse>

<verse number='13'>And it shall come to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, <em> that </em><strongs number="834">as</strongs>ye <strongs number="1961">were</strongs>a <strongs number="7045">curse</strongs>among the <strongs number="1471">heathen</strongs>, O <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; <strongs number="3651">so</strongs>will I <strongs number="3467">save</strongs>you, and ye shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="1293">blessing</strongs>: <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>, <em> but </em>let your <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>be <strongs number="2388">strong</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='14'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>; <strongs number="834">As</strongs>I <strongs number="2161">thought</strongs>to <strongs number="7489">punish</strongs>you, when your <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>provoked me to <strongs number="7107 *853">wrath</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>, and I <strongs number="5162">repented</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>: </verse>

<verse number='15'><strongs number="3651">So</strongs><strongs number="7725">again</strongs>have I <strongs number="2161">thought</strongs>in <strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>to do <strongs number="3190">well</strongs>unto <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>and to the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>: <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs>ye <strongs number="408">not</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='16'><strongs number="428">These</strongs><em> are </em>the <strongs number="1697">things</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>ye shall <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>; <strongs number="1696">Speak</strongs>ye every <strongs number="376">man</strongs>the <strongs number="571">truth</strongs><strongs number="854">to</strongs>his <strongs number="7453">neighbor</strongs>; <strongs number="8199">execute</strongs>the <strongs number="4941">judgment</strongs>of <strongs number="571">truth</strongs>and <strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>in your <strongs number="8179">gates</strongs>: </verse>

<verse number='19'><strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>; The <strongs number="6685">fast</strongs>of the <strongs number="7243">fourth</strongs><em> month </em>, and the <strongs number="6685">fast</strongs>of the <strongs number="2549">fifth</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6685">fast</strongs>of the <strongs number="7637">seventh</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6685">fast</strongs>of the <strongs number="6224">tenth</strongs>, shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>to the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs><strongs number="8342">joy</strongs>and <strongs number="8057">gladness</strongs>, and <strongs number="2896">cheerful</strongs><strongs number="4150">feasts</strongs>; therefore <strongs number="157">love</strongs>the <strongs number="571">truth</strongs>and <strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='22'>Yea, <strongs number="7227">many</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>and <strongs number="6099">strong</strongs><strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>shall <strongs number="935">come</strongs>to <strongs number="1245">seek</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, and to <strongs number="2470">pray</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
