      <verse number='1'><strongs number="349">How</strongs>doth the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs><strongs number="3427">sit</strongs><strongs number="910">solitary</strongs>, <em> that </em><em> was </em><strongs number="7227">full</strongs>of <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>! <em> how </em>is she <strongs number="1961">become</strongs>as a <strongs number="490">widow</strongs>! she <em> that </em><em> was </em><strongs number="7227">great</strongs>among the <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="8282">princess</strongs>among the <strongs number="4082">provinces</strongs>, <em> how </em>is she <strongs number="1961">become</strongs><strongs number="4522">tributary</strongs>! </verse>
      <verse number='2'>She weepeth <strongs number="1058 1058">sore</strongs>in the <strongs number="3915">night</strongs>, and her <strongs number="1832">tears</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>her <strongs number="3895">cheeks</strongs>: among <strongs number="4480 3605">all</strongs>her <strongs number="157">lovers</strongs>she hath <strongs number="369">none</strongs>to <strongs number="5162">comfort</strongs><em> her </em>: <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>her <strongs number="7453">friends</strongs>have dealt <strongs number="898">treacherously</strongs>with her, they are <strongs number="1961">become</strongs>her <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>. </verse>
