      <verse number='7'>It may <strongs number="194">be</strongs>they will <strongs number="5307">present</strongs>their <strongs number="8467">supplication</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and will <strongs number="7725">return</strongs>every <strongs number="376">one</strongs>from his <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="4480 1870">way</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="1419">great</strongs><em> is </em>the <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>and the <strongs number="2534">fury</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="1696">pronounced</strongs><strongs number="413">against</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='14'>Therefore <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs><strongs number="7971">sent</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3065">Jehudi</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="5418">Nethaniah</strongs>, the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="8018">Shelemiah</strongs>, the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="3570">Cushi</strongs>, <strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="1263">Baruch</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="3947">Take</strongs>in thine <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>the <strongs number="4039">roll</strongs><strongs number="834">wherein</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="7121">read</strongs>in the <strongs number="241">ears</strongs>of the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">come</strongs>.       <verse number='15'>And they <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, Sit <strongs number="3427">down</strongs><strongs number="4994">now</strongs>, and <strongs number="7121">read</strongs>it in our <strongs number="241">ears</strongs>. So <strongs number="1263">Baruch</strongs><strongs number="7121">read</strongs><em> it </em>in their <strongs number="241">ears</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>Now it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, when they had <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>, they were <strongs number="6342">afraid</strongs><strongs number="413">both</strongs><strongs number="376">one</strongs>and <strongs number="7453">other</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="1263">Baruch</strongs>, We will surely <strongs number="5046 5046">tell</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="1697">words</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And they <strongs number="7592">asked</strongs><strongs number="1263">Baruch</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="5046">Tell</strongs>us <strongs number="4994">now</strongs>, <strongs number="349">How</strongs>didst thou <strongs number="3789">write</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="1697">words</strongs>at his <strongs number="4480 6310">mouth</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='18'>Then <strongs number="1263">Baruch</strongs><strongs number="559">answered</strongs>them, He <strongs number="7121">pronounced</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="1697">words</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me with his <strongs number="4480 6310">mouth</strongs>, and <strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="3789">wrote</strongs><em> them </em>with <strongs number="1773">ink</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>the <strongs number="5612">book</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>Then <strongs number="559">said</strongs>the <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="1263">Baruch</strongs>, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>, <strongs number="5641">hide</strongs>thee, <strongs number="859">thou</strongs>and <strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>; and let <strongs number="408">no</strongs><strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="375">where</strongs>ye be. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And they went <strongs number="935">in</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>into the <strongs number="2691">court</strongs>, but they laid <strongs number="6485">up</strongs>the <strongs number="4039">roll</strongs>in the <strongs number="3957">chamber</strongs>of <strongs number="476">Elishama</strongs>the <strongs number="5608">scribe</strongs>, and <strongs number="5046">told</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>in the <strongs number="241">ears</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>So the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="7971">sent</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3065">Jehudi</strongs>to <strongs number="3947">fetch</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4039">roll</strongs>: and he <strongs number="3947">took</strongs>it out of <strongs number="476">Elishama</strongs>the <strongs number="5608">scribe</strongs>'s <strongs number="4480 3957">chamber</strongs>. And <strongs number="3065">Jehudi</strongs><strongs number="7121">read</strongs>it in the <strongs number="241">ears</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="241">ears</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>which <strongs number="5975">stood</strongs><strongs number="4480 5921">beside</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>Now the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="3427">sat</strongs>in the <strongs number="1004 2779">winterhouse</strongs>in the <strongs number="8671">ninth</strongs><strongs number="2320">month</strongs>: and <em> there </em><em> was </em><em> a </em><em> fire </em>on the <strongs number="254">hearth</strongs><strongs number="1197">burning</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>him. </verse>

      <verse number='25'><strongs number="1571">Nevertheless</strongs><strongs number="494">Elnathan</strongs>and <strongs number="1806">Delaiah</strongs>and <strongs number="1587">Gemariah</strongs>had made <strongs number="6293">intercession</strongs>to the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>that he would <strongs number="1115">not</strongs><strongs number="8313">burn</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4039">roll</strongs>: but he would <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="8085 413">hear</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='26'>But the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3396">Jerahmeel</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="4429">Hammelech</strongs>, and <strongs number="8304">Seraiah</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="5837">Azriel</strongs>, and <strongs number="8018">Shelemiah</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="5655">Abdeel</strongs>, to <strongs number="3947">take</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="1263">Baruch</strongs>the <strongs number="5608">scribe</strongs>and <strongs number="3414">Jeremiah</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs>: but the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5641">hid</strongs>them. </verse>

      <verse number='29'>And thou shalt <strongs number="559">say</strongs><strongs number="5921">to</strongs><strongs number="3079">Jehoiakim</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; <strongs number="859">Thou</strongs>hast <strongs number="8313">burned</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="4039">roll</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="4069">Why</strongs>hast thou <strongs number="3789">written</strongs><strongs number="5921">therein</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, The <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="894">Babylon</strongs>shall certainly <strongs number="935 935">come</strongs>and <strongs number="7843">destroy</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs>, and shall cause to <strongs number="7673">cease</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>thence <strongs number="120">man</strongs>and <strongs number="929">beast</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='30'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5921">of</strongs><strongs number="3079">Jehoiakim</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>; He shall <strongs number="1961">have</strongs><strongs number="3808">none</strongs>to <strongs number="3427">sit</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="3678">throne</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>: and his dead <strongs number="5038">body</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>cast <strongs number="7993">out</strongs>in the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>to the <strongs number="2721">heat</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="3915">night</strongs>to the <strongs number="7140">frost</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='31'>And I will <strongs number="6485 5921">punish</strongs>him and his <strongs number="2233">seed</strongs>and his <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>for <strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="5771">iniquity</strongs>; and I will <strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>them, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, and <strongs number="413">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I have <strongs number="1696">pronounced</strongs><strongs number="413">against</strongs>them; but they <strongs number="8085">hearkened</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>. </verse>
