      <verse number='1'>Come <strongs number="7126">near</strongs>, ye <strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>, to <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>; and <strongs number="7181">hearken</strongs>, ye <strongs number="3816">people</strongs>: let the <strongs number="776">earth</strongs><strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>, and all that is <strongs number="4393">therein</strongs>; the <strongs number="8398">world</strongs>, and all <strongs number="3605">things</strongs>that come <strongs number="6631">forth</strongs>of it. </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>the <strongs number="7110">indignation</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="1471">nations</strongs>, and <em> his </em><strongs number="2534">fury</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>their <strongs number="6635">armies</strongs>: he hath utterly <strongs number="2763">destroyed</strongs>them, he hath <strongs number="5414">delivered</strongs>them to the <strongs number="2874">slaughter</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>Their <strongs number="2491">slain</strongs>also shall be cast <strongs number="7993">out</strongs>, and their <strongs number="889">stink</strongs>shall come <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>out of their <strongs number="6297">carcasses</strongs>, and the <strongs number="2022">mountains</strongs>shall be <strongs number="4549">melted</strongs>with their <strongs number="4480 1818">blood</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6635">host</strongs>of <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>shall be <strongs number="4743">dissolved</strongs>, and the <strongs number="8064">heavens</strongs>shall be rolled <strongs number="1556">together</strongs>as a <strongs number="5612">scroll</strongs>: and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>their <strongs number="6635">host</strongs>shall fall <strongs number="5034">down</strongs>, as the <strongs number="5929">leaf</strongs>falleth <strongs number="5034">off</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 1612">vine</strongs>, and as a <strongs number="5034">falling</strongs><em> fig </em>from the fig <strongs number="4480 8384">tree</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>my <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>shall be <strongs number="7301">bathed</strongs>in <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>: <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, it shall come <strongs number="3381">down</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="123">Idumea</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>of my <strongs number="2764">curse</strongs>, to <strongs number="4941">judgment</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>The <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>is <strongs number="4390">filled</strongs>with <strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>, it is made <strongs number="1878">fat</strongs>with <strongs number="4480 2459">fatness</strongs>, <em> and </em>with the <strongs number="4480 1818">blood</strongs>of <strongs number="3733">lambs</strongs>and <strongs number="6260">goats</strongs>, with the <strongs number="4480 2459">fat</strongs>of the <strongs number="3629">kidneys</strongs>of <strongs number="352">rams</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath a <strongs number="2077">sacrifice</strongs>in <strongs number="1224">Bozrah</strongs>, and a <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="2874">slaughter</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="123">Idumea</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And the <strongs number="7214">unicorns</strongs>shall come <strongs number="3381">down</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>them, and the <strongs number="6499">bullocks</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>the <strongs number="47">bulls</strongs>; and their <strongs number="776">land</strongs>shall be <strongs number="7301">soaked</strongs>with <strongs number="4480 1818">blood</strongs>, and their <strongs number="6083">dust</strongs>made <strongs number="1878">fat</strongs>with <strongs number="4480 2459">fatness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><em> it </em><em> is </em>the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>'s <strongs number="5359">vengeance</strongs>, <em> and </em>the <strongs number="8141">year</strongs>of <strongs number="7966">recompenses</strongs>for the <strongs number="7379">controversy</strongs>of <strongs number="6726">Zion</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And the <strongs number="5158">streams</strongs>thereof shall be <strongs number="2015">turned</strongs>into <strongs number="2203">pitch</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6083">dust</strongs>thereof into <strongs number="1614">brimstone</strongs>, and the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>thereof shall <strongs number="1961">become</strongs><strongs number="1197">burning</strongs><strongs number="2203">pitch</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>It shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="3518">quenched</strongs><strongs number="3915">night</strongs>nor <strongs number="3119">day</strongs>; the <strongs number="6227">smoke</strongs>thereof shall go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="5769">forever</strongs>: from <strongs number="4480 1755">generation</strongs>to <strongs number="1755">generation</strongs>it shall lie <strongs number="2717">waste</strongs>; <strongs number="369">none</strongs>shall pass <strongs number="5674">through</strongs>it <strongs number="5331">forever</strongs>and <strongs number="5331">ever</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>But the <strongs number="6893">cormorant</strongs>and the <strongs number="7090">bittern</strongs>shall <strongs number="3423">possess</strongs>it; the <strongs number="3244">owl</strongs>also and the <strongs number="6158">raven</strongs>shall <strongs number="7931">dwell</strongs>in it: and he shall stretch <strongs number="5186">out</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>it the <strongs number="6957">line</strongs>of <strongs number="8414">confusion</strongs>, and the <strongs number="68">stones</strongs>of <strongs number="922">emptiness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>They shall <strongs number="7121">call</strongs>the <strongs number="2715">nobles</strongs>thereof to the <strongs number="4410">kingdom</strongs>, but <strongs number="369">none</strongs><em> shall </em><em> be </em><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>her <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="657">nothing</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And <strongs number="5518">thorns</strongs>shall come <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>in her <strongs number="759">palaces</strongs>, <strongs number="7057">nettles</strongs>and <strongs number="2336">brambles</strongs>in the <strongs number="4013">fortresses</strongs>thereof: and it shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="5116">habitation</strongs>of <strongs number="8565">dragons</strongs>, <em> and </em>a <strongs number="2681">court</strongs>for <strongs number="1323 3284">owls</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>The wild beasts of the <strongs number="6728">desert</strongs>shall also <strongs number="6298">meet</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>the wild beasts of the <strongs number="338">island</strongs>, and the <strongs number="8163">satyr</strongs>shall <strongs number="7121">cry</strongs><strongs number="5921">to</strongs>his <strongs number="7453">fellow</strongs>; the screech <strongs number="3917">owl</strongs><strongs number="389">also</strongs>shall <strongs number="7280">rest</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>, and <strongs number="4672">find</strongs>for herself a place of <strongs number="4494">rest</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="8033">There</strongs>shall the great <strongs number="7091">owl</strongs>make her <strongs number="7077">nest</strongs>, and <strongs number="4422">lay</strongs>, and <strongs number="1234">hatch</strongs>, and <strongs number="1716">gather</strongs>under her <strongs number="6738">shadow</strongs>: <strongs number="8033">there</strongs>shall the <strongs number="1772">vultures</strongs><strongs number="389">also</strongs>be <strongs number="6908">gathered</strongs>, every <strongs number="802">one</strongs>with her <strongs number="7468">mate</strongs>. </verse>
