<verse number='2'>That thou mayest <strongs number="8104">regard</strongs><strongs number="4209">discretion</strongs>, and <em> that </em>thy <strongs number="8193">lips</strongs>may <strongs number="5341">keep</strongs><strongs number="1847">knowledge</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='3'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>the <strongs number="8193">lips</strongs>of a strange <strongs number="2114">woman</strongs><strongs number="5197">drop</strongs><em> as </em>a <strongs number="5317">honeycomb</strongs>, and her <strongs number="2441">mouth</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="2509">smoother</strongs>than <strongs number="4480 8081">oil</strongs>: </verse>
<verse number='4'>But her <strongs number="319">end</strongs>is <strongs number="4751">bitter</strongs>as <strongs number="3939">wormwood</strongs>, <strongs number="2299">sharp</strongs>as a <strongs number="6310">twoedged</strongs><strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='5'>Her <strongs number="7272">feet</strongs>go <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>to <strongs number="4194">death</strongs>; her <strongs number="6806">steps</strongs>take <strongs number="8551">hold</strongs>on <strongs number="7585">hell</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='6'><strongs number="6435">Lest</strongs>thou shouldest <strongs number="6424">ponder</strongs>the <strongs number="734">path</strongs>of <strongs number="2416">life</strongs>, her <strongs number="4570">ways</strongs>are <strongs number="5128">movable</strongs>, <em> that </em>thou canst <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3045">know</strongs><em> them </em>. </verse>

<verse number='14'>I <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="4592">almost</strongs>in <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>in the <strongs number="8432">midst</strongs>of the <strongs number="6951">congregation</strongs>and <strongs number="5712">assembly</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='15'><strongs number="8354">Drink</strongs><strongs number="4325">waters</strongs>out of thine own <strongs number="4480 953">cistern</strongs>, and running <strongs number="5140">waters</strongs>out <strongs number="4480 8432">of</strongs>thine own <strongs number="875">well</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='16'>Let thy <strongs number="4599">fountains</strongs>be <strongs number="6327">dispersed</strongs><strongs number="2351">abroad</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="6388">rivers</strongs>of <strongs number="4325">waters</strongs>in the <strongs number="7339">streets</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='17'>Let them <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="905">only</strongs>thine own, and <strongs number="369">not</strongs><strongs number="2114">strangers</strongs>' <strongs number="854">with</strongs>thee. </verse>
<verse number='18'>Let thy <strongs number="4726">fountain</strongs><strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="1288">blessed</strongs>: and <strongs number="8055">rejoice</strongs>with the <strongs number="4480 802">wife</strongs>of thy <strongs number="5271">youth</strongs>. </verse>
