<verse number='1'>On <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3915">night</strongs>could <strongs number="5074">not</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="8142">sleep</strongs>, and he <strongs number="559">commanded</strongs>to <strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="5612">book</strongs>of <strongs number="2146">records</strongs>of the <strongs number="1697 3117">chronicles</strongs>; and they <strongs number="1961">were</strongs><strongs number="7121">read</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='2'>And it was <strongs number="4672">found</strongs><strongs number="3789">written</strongs>, <strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="4782">Mordecai</strongs>had <strongs number="5046">told</strongs><strongs number="5921">of</strongs><strongs number="904">Bigthana</strongs>and <strongs number="8657">Teresh</strongs>, <strongs number="8147">two</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="5631">chamberlains</strongs>, the <strongs number="4480 8104">keepers</strongs>of the <strongs number="5592">door</strongs>, <strongs number="834">who</strongs><strongs number="1245">sought</strongs>to <strongs number="7971">lay</strongs><strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>on the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="325">Ahasuerus</strongs>. </verse>

But <strongs number="2001">Haman</strongs><strongs number="1765">hasted</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>his <strongs number="1004">house</strongs><strongs number="57">mourning</strongs>, and having his <strongs number="7218">head</strongs><strongs number="2645">covered</strongs>. </verse>
