      <verse number='1'>Now it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>on the <strongs number="7992">third</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, that <strongs number="635">Esther</strongs>put <strongs number="3847">on</strongs><em> her </em><strongs number="4438">royal</strongs><em> apparel </em>, and <strongs number="5975">stood</strongs>in the <strongs number="6442">inner</strongs><strongs number="2691">court</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, over <strongs number="5227">against</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>: and the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="3427">sat</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>his <strongs number="4438">royal</strongs><strongs number="3678">throne</strongs>in the <strongs number="4438">royal</strongs><strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, over <strongs number="5227">against</strongs>the <strongs number="6607">gate</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And it <strongs number="1961">was</strongs>so, when the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="635">Esther</strongs>the <strongs number="4436">queen</strongs><strongs number="5975">standing</strongs>in the <strongs number="2691">court</strongs>, <em> that </em>she <strongs number="5375">obtained</strongs><strongs number="2580">favor</strongs>in his <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>: and the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>held <strongs number="3447">out</strongs>to <strongs number="635">Esther</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="2091">golden</strongs><strongs number="8275">scepter</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> was </em>in his <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>. So <strongs number="635">Esther</strongs>drew <strongs number="7126">near</strongs>, and <strongs number="5060">touched</strongs>the <strongs number="7218">top</strongs>of the <strongs number="8275">scepter</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>Then <strongs number="559">said</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>unto her, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs>wilt thou, <strongs number="4436">queen</strongs><strongs number="635">Esther</strongs>? and <strongs number="4100">what</strongs><em> is </em>thy <strongs number="1246">request</strongs>? it shall be even <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>thee <strongs number="5704">to</strongs>the <strongs number="2677">half</strongs>of the <strongs number="4438">kingdom</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And <strongs number="635">Esther</strongs><strongs number="559">answered</strongs>, <strongs number="518">If</strongs><em> it </em><em> seem </em><strongs number="2895">good</strongs><strongs number="5921">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>, let the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>and <strongs number="2001">Haman</strongs><strongs number="935">come</strongs>this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4960">banquet</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I have <strongs number="6213">prepared</strongs>for him. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>Then the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Cause <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="2001">Haman</strongs>to make <strongs number="4116">haste</strongs>, that he may <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>as <strongs number="635">Esther</strongs>hath <strongs number="1697">said</strongs>. So the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>and <strongs number="2001">Haman</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4960">banquet</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="635">Esther</strongs>had <strongs number="6213">prepared</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto <strongs number="635">Esther</strongs>at the <strongs number="4960">banquet</strongs>of <strongs number="3196">wine</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs><em> is </em>thy <strongs number="7596">petition</strongs>? and it shall be <strongs number="5414">granted</strongs>thee: and <strongs number="4100">what</strongs><em> is </em>thy <strongs number="1246">request</strongs>? even <strongs number="5704">to</strongs>the <strongs number="2677">half</strongs>of the <strongs number="4438">kingdom</strongs>it shall be <strongs number="6213">performed</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>Then <strongs number="6030">answered</strongs><strongs number="635">Esther</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, My <strongs number="7596">petition</strongs>and my <strongs number="1246">request</strongs><em> is </em>; </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>I have <strongs number="4672">found</strongs><strongs number="2580">favor</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>, and <strongs number="518">if</strongs>it <strongs number="2895 5921">please</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>to <strongs number="5414">grant</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="7596">petition</strongs>, and to <strongs number="6213">perform</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="1246">request</strongs>, let the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>and <strongs number="2001">Haman</strongs><strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4960">banquet</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>I shall <strongs number="6213">prepare</strongs>for them, and I will <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><strongs number="4279">tomorrow</strongs>as the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>hath <strongs number="1697">said</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>Then went Haman <strongs number="3318 2001">forth</strongs><strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs><strongs number="8056">joyful</strongs>and with a <strongs number="2896">glad</strongs><strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>: but when <strongs number="2001">Haman</strongs><strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="4782">Mordecai</strongs>in the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="8179">gate</strongs>, that he stood not <strongs number="6965 3808">up</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="2111">moved</strongs><strongs number="4480">for</strongs><strongs number="2001">him</strongs>, <strongs number="2001">he</strongs>was <strongs number="4390">full</strongs>of <strongs number="2534">indignation</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs><strongs number="4782">Mordecai</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>Nevertheless <strongs number="2001">Haman</strongs>refrained <strongs number="662">himself</strongs>: and when he <strongs number="935 413">came</strongs><strongs number="1004">home</strongs>, he <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>and <strongs number="935">called</strongs>for <strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="157">friends</strongs>, and <strongs number="2238">Zeresh</strongs>his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="2001">Haman</strongs><strongs number="5608">told</strongs>them of <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3519">glory</strongs>of his <strongs number="6239">riches</strongs>, and the <strongs number="7230">multitude</strongs>of his <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><em> the </em><em> things </em><strongs number="834">wherein</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>had <strongs number="1431">promoted</strongs>him, and <strongs number="834">how</strongs>he had <strongs number="5375">advanced</strongs>him <strongs number="5921">above</strongs>the <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>and <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="2001">Haman</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="637">moreover</strongs>, Yea, <strongs number="635">Esther</strongs>the <strongs number="4436">queen</strongs>did let <strongs number="3808">no</strongs>man come <strongs number="935">in</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4960">banquet</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>she had <strongs number="6213">prepared</strongs><strongs number="3588 518">but</strongs>myself; and <strongs number="4279">tomorrow</strongs>am <strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="7121">invited</strongs>unto her <strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>Yet <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="7737">availeth</strongs>me <strongs number="369">nothing</strongs>, so <strongs number="3605 6256">long</strongs>as <strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="4782">Mordecai</strongs>the <strongs number="3064">Jew</strongs><strongs number="3427">sitting</strongs>at the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="8179">gate</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Then <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="2238">Zeresh</strongs>his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="157">friends</strongs>unto him, Let a <strongs number="6086">gallows</strongs>be <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>of <strongs number="2572">fifty</strongs><strongs number="520">cubits</strongs><strongs number="1364">high</strongs>, and <strongs number="1242">tomorrow</strongs><strongs number="559">speak</strongs>thou unto the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>that <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="4782">Mordecai</strongs>may be <strongs number="8518">hanged</strongs><strongs number="5921">thereon</strongs>: then <strongs number="935">go</strongs>thou in <strongs number="8056">merrily</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4960">banquet</strongs>. And the <strongs number="1697">thing</strongs><strongs number="3190 6440">pleased</strongs><strongs number="2001">Haman</strongs>; and he caused the <strongs number="6086">gallows</strongs>to be <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>. </verse>
