      <verse number='1'>And <strongs number="3169">Hezekiah</strongs><strongs number="7971">sent</strongs><strongs number="5921">to</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>and <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and <strongs number="3789">wrote</strongs><strongs number="107">letters</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="5921">to</strongs><strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>and <strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>, that they should <strongs number="935">come</strongs>to the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>at <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, to <strongs number="6213">keep</strongs>the <strongs number="6453">passover</strongs>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>For the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>had taken <strongs number="3289">counsel</strongs>, and his <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6951">congregation</strongs>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, to <strongs number="6213">keep</strongs>the <strongs number="6453">passover</strongs>in the <strongs number="8145">second</strongs><strongs number="2320">month</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>they <strongs number="3201">could</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="6213">keep</strongs>it at <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="6256">time</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>had <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>sanctified <strongs number="6942">themselves</strongs><strongs number="4078">sufficiently</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs>had the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>gathered themselves <strongs number="622">together</strongs>to <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='6'>So the <strongs number="7323">posts</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs>with the <strongs number="107">letters</strongs><strongs number="4480 3027">from</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>and his <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>throughout <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>and <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and according to the <strongs number="4687">commandment</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, Ye <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, turn <strongs number="7725">again</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="85">Abraham</strongs>, <strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs>, and <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, and he will <strongs number="7725">return</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="7604">remnant</strongs>of you, that are <strongs number="6413">escaped</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 3709">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="804">Assyria</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>ye like your <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, and like your <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="4603">trespassed</strongs>against the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of their <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, <em> who </em>therefore gave them <strongs number="5414">up</strongs>to <strongs number="8047">desolation</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs><strongs number="859">ye</strongs><strongs number="7200">see</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='11'><strongs number="389">Nevertheless</strongs><strongs number="376">divers</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 836">Asher</strongs>and <strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>and of <strongs number="4480 2074">Zebulun</strongs>humbled <strongs number="3665">themselves</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">came</strongs>to <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="1571">Also</strongs>in <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs>to <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>them <strongs number="259">one</strongs><strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>to <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>the <strongs number="4687">commandment</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>and of the <strongs number="8269">princes</strongs>, by the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And there <strongs number="622">assembled</strongs>at <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs><strongs number="7227">much</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>to <strongs number="6213">keep</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="2282">feast</strongs>of unleavened <strongs number="4682">bread</strongs>in the <strongs number="8145">second</strongs><strongs number="2320">month</strongs>, a <strongs number="3966">very</strongs><strongs number="7230">great</strongs><strongs number="6951">congregation</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>And they <strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>and took <strongs number="5493">away</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4196">altars</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the altars for <strongs number="6999">incense</strongs>took they <strongs number="5493">away</strongs>, and <strongs number="7993">cast</strongs><em> them </em>into the <strongs number="5158">brook</strongs><strongs number="6939">Kidron</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>Then they <strongs number="7819">killed</strongs>the <strongs number="6453">passover</strongs>on the <strongs number="702 6240">fourteenth</strongs><em> day </em>of the <strongs number="8145">second</strongs><strongs number="2320">month</strongs>: and the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>and the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>were <strongs number="3637">ashamed</strongs>, and sanctified <strongs number="6942">themselves</strongs>, and brought <strongs number="935">in</strongs>the burnt <strongs number="5930">offerings</strongs>into the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And they <strongs number="5975">stood</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>their <strongs number="5977">place</strongs>after their <strongs number="4941">manner</strongs>, according to the <strongs number="8451">law</strongs>of <strongs number="4872">Moses</strongs>the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>: the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs><strongs number="2236">sprinkled</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1818">blood</strongs>, <em> which </em><em> they </em><em> received </em>of the <strongs number="4480 3027">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><em> there </em><em> were </em><strongs number="7227">many</strongs>in the <strongs number="6951">congregation</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>were <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="6942">sanctified</strongs>: therefore the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>had the charge <strongs number="5921">of</strongs>the <strongs number="7821">killing</strongs>of the <strongs number="6453">passovers</strongs>for every <strongs number="3605">one</strongs><em> that </em><em> was </em><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2889">clean</strongs>, to <strongs number="6942">sanctify</strongs><em> them </em>unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>a <strongs number="4768">multitude</strongs>of the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <em> even </em><strongs number="7227">many</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 669">Ephraim</strongs>, and <strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>, <strongs number="3485">Issachar</strongs>, and <strongs number="2074">Zebulun</strongs>, had <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>cleansed <strongs number="2891">themselves</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">yet</strongs>did they <strongs number="398">eat</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="6453">passover</strongs><strongs number="3808">otherwise</strongs>than it was <strongs number="3789">written</strongs>. <strongs number="3588">But</strongs><strongs number="3169">Hezekiah</strongs><strongs number="6419">prayed</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs>them, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, The <strongs number="2896">good</strongs><strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="3722">pardon</strongs>every <strongs number="1157">one</strongs></verse>
      <verse number='19'><em> That </em><strongs number="3559">prepareth</strongs>his <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>to <strongs number="1875">seek</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>, the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of his <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, though <em> he </em><em> be </em><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><em> cleansed </em>according to the <strongs number="2893">purification</strongs>of the <strongs number="6944">sanctuary</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="8085">hearkened</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="3169">Hezekiah</strongs>, and <strongs number="7495">healed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>. </verse>
