And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">answered</strongs>, <em> It </em><em> is </em><strongs number="413">for</strongs><strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>, and <strongs number="413">for</strongs><em> his </em><strongs number="1818">bloody</strongs><strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, <strongs number="5921 834">because</strongs>he <strongs number="4191">slew</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1393">Gibeonites</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='4'>And the <strongs number="1393">Gibeonites</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto him, We will have <strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>nor <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs><strongs number="5973">of</strongs><strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>, nor <strongs number="5973">of</strongs>his <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>; <strongs number="369">neither</strongs>for us shalt thou <strongs number="4191">kill</strongs>any <strongs number="376">man</strongs>in <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>.       <verse number='6'>Let <strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs>of his <strongs number="4480 1121">sons</strongs>be <strongs number="5414">delivered</strongs>unto us, and we will <strongs number="3363">hang</strongs>them up unto the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>in <strongs number="1390">Gibeah</strongs>of <strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>, <em> whom </em>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>did <strongs number="972">choose</strongs>. And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="589">I</strongs>will <strongs number="5414">give</strongs><em> them </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>But the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="2550 5921">spared</strongs><strongs number="4648">Mephibosheth</strongs>, the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>, <strongs number="5921">because</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>'s <strongs number="7621">oath</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="996">between</strongs>them, <strongs number="996">between</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>and <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>But the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="7532">Rizpah</strongs>the <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>of <strongs number="345">Aiah</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whom</strongs>she <strongs number="3205">bore</strongs>unto <strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>, <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="764">Armoni</strongs>and <strongs number="4648">Mephibosheth</strongs>; and the <strongs number="2568">five</strongs><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="4324">Michal</strongs>the <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>of <strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whom</strongs>she brought <strongs number="3205">up</strongs>for <strongs number="5741">Adriel</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="1271">Barzillai</strongs>the <strongs number="4259">Meholathite</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And he <strongs number="5414">delivered</strongs>them into the <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>of the <strongs number="1393">Gibeonites</strongs>, and they <strongs number="3363">hanged</strongs>them in the <strongs number="2022">hill</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: and they <strongs number="5307">fell</strongs><em> all </em><strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="3162">together</strongs>, and were put to <strongs number="4191">death</strongs>in the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>of <strongs number="7105">harvest</strongs>, in the <strongs number="7223">first</strongs><em> days </em>, in the <strongs number="8462">beginning</strongs>of <strongs number="8184">barley</strongs><strongs number="7105">harvest</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='12'>And <strongs number="1732">David</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs>and <strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="6106">bones</strongs>of <strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>and the <strongs number="6106">bones</strongs>of <strongs number="3083">Jonathan</strongs>his <strongs number="1121">son</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">from</strongs>the <strongs number="1167">men</strongs>of <strongs number="3003 1568">Jabesh</strongs>-gilead, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>had <strongs number="1589">stolen</strongs>them from the <strongs number="4480 7339">street</strongs>of <strongs number="1052">Beth</strongs>-shan, <strongs number="834 8033">where</strongs>the <strongs number="6430">Philistines</strongs>had <strongs number="8511">hanged</strongs>them, <strongs number="3117">when</strongs>the <strongs number="6430">Philistines</strongs>had <strongs number="5221">slain</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>in <strongs number="1533">Gilboa</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='16'>And <strongs number="3430">Ishbibenob</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> was </em>of the <strongs number="3211">sons</strongs>of the <strongs number="7498">giant</strongs>, the <strongs number="4948">weight</strongs>of whose <strongs number="7013">spear</strongs><em> weighed </em><strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><em> shekels </em>of <strongs number="5178">brass</strongs>in <strongs number="4948">weight</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>being <strongs number="2296">girded</strongs>with a <strongs number="2319">new</strongs><em> sword </em>, <strongs number="559">thought</strongs>to have <strongs number="5221">slain</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='19'>And there <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="5750">again</strongs>a <strongs number="4421">battle</strongs>in <strongs number="1359">Gob</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>the <strongs number="6430">Philistines</strongs>, where <strongs number="445">Elhanan</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="3296">Jaare</strongs>-oregim, a <strongs number="1022">Bethlehemite</strongs>, <strongs number="5221">slew</strongs><em> the </em><em> brother </em><em> of </em><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="1555">Goliath</strongs>the <strongs number="1663">Gittite</strongs>, the <strongs number="6086">staff</strongs>of whose <strongs number="2595">spear</strongs><em> was </em>like a <strongs number="707">weaver</strongs>'s <strongs number="4500">beam</strongs>. </verse>
