      <verse number='2'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="7495">physicians</strongs>to <strongs number="2590">embalm</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>: and the <strongs number="7495">physicians</strongs><strongs number="2590">embalmed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And <strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>were <strongs number="4390">fulfilled</strongs>for him; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="3651">so</strongs>are <strongs number="4390">fulfilled</strongs>the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>of those which are <strongs number="2590">embalmed</strongs>: and the <strongs number="4714">Egyptians</strongs><strongs number="1058">mourned</strongs>for him threescore and <strongs number="7657">ten</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And when the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>of his <strongs number="1068">mourning</strongs>were <strongs number="5674">past</strongs>, <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="518">If</strongs><strongs number="4994">now</strongs>I have <strongs number="4672">found</strongs><strongs number="2580">grace</strongs>in your <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>, <strongs number="1696">speak</strongs>, I pray <strongs number="4994">you</strongs>, in the <strongs number="241">ears</strongs>of <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='5'>My <strongs number="1">father</strongs>made me <strongs number="7650">swear</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Lo</strongs>, <strongs number="595">I</strongs><strongs number="4191">die</strongs>: in my <strongs number="6913">grave</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>I have <strongs number="3738">digged</strongs>for me in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="3667">Canaan</strongs>, <strongs number="8033">there</strongs>shalt thou <strongs number="6912">bury</strongs>me. <strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>therefore let me go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, and <strongs number="6912">bury</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, and I will come <strongs number="7725">again</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>, and <strongs number="6912">bury</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, according <strongs number="834">as</strongs>he made thee <strongs number="7650">swear</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>went <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>to <strongs number="6912">bury</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>: and <strongs number="854">with</strongs>him went <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>of <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>, the <strongs number="2205">elders</strongs>of his <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="2205">elders</strongs>of the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>, and his <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, and his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>: <strongs number="7535">only</strongs>their little <strongs number="2945">ones</strongs>, and their <strongs number="6629">flocks</strongs>, and their <strongs number="1241">herds</strongs>, they <strongs number="5800">left</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="1657">Goshen</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='14'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="7725">returned</strongs>into <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>, and his <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>that went <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>him to <strongs number="6912">bury</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>, <strongs number="310">after</strongs>he had <strongs number="6912">buried</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And when <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>'s <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs><strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>their <strongs number="1">father</strongs>was <strongs number="4191">dead</strongs>, they <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>will <strongs number="3863">peradventure</strongs><strongs number="7852">hate</strongs>us, and will certainly <strongs number="7725 7725">requite</strongs>us <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>we <strongs number="1580">did</strongs>unto him. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And they sent a <strongs number="6680">messenger</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, Thy <strongs number="1">father</strongs>did <strongs number="6680">command</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>he <strongs number="4194">died</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="3541">So</strongs>shall ye <strongs number="559">say</strongs>unto <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>, <strongs number="5375">Forgive</strongs>, I pray <strongs number="577">thee</strongs><strongs number="4994">now</strongs>, the <strongs number="6588">trespass</strongs>of thy <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, and their <strongs number="2403">sin</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>they <strongs number="1580">did</strongs>unto thee <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>: and <strongs number="6258">now</strongs>, we pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, <strongs number="5375">forgive</strongs>the <strongs number="6588">trespass</strongs>of the <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>of the <strongs number="430">God</strongs>of thy <strongs number="1">father</strongs>.       <verse number='19'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="3372">Fear</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><em> am </em><strongs number="589">I</strongs>in the <strongs number="8478">place</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='20'>But as for <strongs number="859">you</strongs>, ye <strongs number="2803">thought</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>me; <em> but </em><strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="2803">meant</strongs>it unto <strongs number="2896">good</strongs>, <strongs number="4616">to</strongs>bring to <strongs number="6213">pass</strongs>, as <em> it </em><em> is </em><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, to save much people <strongs number="2421 5971 7227">alive</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'><strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>therefore <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs>ye <strongs number="408">not</strongs>: <strongs number="595">I</strongs>will <strongs number="3557">nourish</strongs>you, and your little <strongs number="2945">ones</strongs>. And he <strongs number="5162">comforted</strongs>them, and <strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs><strongs number="5921 3820">kindly</strongs>unto them. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="3427">dwelt</strongs>in <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>, and his <strongs number="1">father</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>: and <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="2421">lived</strongs>a <strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs>and <strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="669">Ephraim</strongs>'s <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of the <strongs number="8029">third</strongs><em> generation </em>: the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs>of <strongs number="4353">Machir</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="4519">Manasseh</strongs>were brought <strongs number="3205">up</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs><strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>'s <strongs number="1290">knees</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>his <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, <strongs number="595">I</strongs><strongs number="4191">die</strongs>: and <strongs number="430">God</strongs>will surely <strongs number="6485 6485">visit</strongs>you, and <strongs number="5927">bring</strongs>you out <strongs number="4480">of</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>he <strongs number="7650">swore</strongs>to <strongs number="85">Abraham</strongs>, to <strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs>, and to <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='25'>And <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs>took an <strongs number="7650">oath</strongs>of <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="430">God</strongs>will surely <strongs number="6485 6485">visit</strongs>you, and ye shall carry <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="6106">bones</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 2088">hence</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='26'>So <strongs number="3130">Joseph</strongs><strongs number="4191">died</strongs>, <em> being </em>a <strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs>and <strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs><strongs number="1121">old</strongs>: and they <strongs number="2590">embalmed</strongs>him, and he was <strongs number="3455">put</strongs>in a <strongs number="727">coffin</strongs>in <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>. </verse>
