      <verse number='1'>Let us <strongs number="3767">therefore</strongs><strongs number="5399">fear</strongs>, <strongs number="3379">lest</strongs>, a <strongs number="1860">promise</strongs>being <strongs number="2641">left</strongs><em> us </em>of <strongs number="1525">entering</strongs><strongs number="1519">into</strongs><strongs number="846">his</strongs><strongs number="2663">rest</strongs>, <strongs number="5100">any</strongs><strongs number="1537">of</strongs><strongs number="5216">you</strongs>should <strongs number="1380">seem</strongs>to come <strongs number="5302">short</strongs>of it. </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>unto <strongs number="*2532">us</strongs>was the gospel <strongs number="2070 2097">preached</strongs>, as well <strongs number="2509">as</strongs>unto <strongs number="2548">them</strongs>: <strongs number="235">but</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3056">word</strongs><strongs number="189">preached</strongs>did <strongs number="3756">not</strongs><strongs number="5623">profit</strongs><strongs number="1565">them</strongs>, <strongs number="3361">not</strongs>being mixed <strongs number="4786">with</strongs><strongs number="4102">faith</strongs>in them that <strongs number="191">heard</strongs><em> it. </em></verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>we which have <strongs number="4100">believed</strongs>do <strongs number="1525">enter</strongs><strongs number="1519">into</strongs><strongs number="2663">rest</strongs>, <strongs number="2531">as</strongs>he <strongs number="2046">said</strongs>, <strongs number="5613">As</strongs>I have <strongs number="3660">sworn</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="3450">my</strongs><strongs number="3709">wrath</strongs>, <strongs number="1487">if</strongs>they shall <strongs number="1525">enter</strongs><strongs number="1519">into</strongs><strongs number="3450">my</strongs><strongs number="2663">rest</strongs>: <strongs number="2543">although</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2041">works</strongs>were <strongs number="1096">finished</strongs><strongs number="575">from</strongs>the <strongs number="2602">foundation</strongs>of the <strongs number="2889">world</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>he <strongs number="2046">spake</strongs>in a certain <strongs number="4225">place</strongs><strongs number="4012">of</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1442">seventh</strongs><em> day </em>on this <strongs number="3779">wise</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">And</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>did <strongs number="2664">rest</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="1442">seventh</strongs><strongs number="2250">day</strongs><strongs number="575">from</strongs><strongs number="3956">all</strongs><strongs number="848">his</strongs><strongs number="2041">works</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='6'><strongs number="1893">Seeing</strongs><strongs number="3767">therefore</strongs>it <strongs number="620">remaineth</strongs>that <strongs number="5100">some</strongs>must <strongs number="1525">enter</strongs><strongs number="1519 846">therein</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>they to whom it was first <strongs number="2097 4386">preached</strongs>entered not <strongs number="1525 3756">in</strongs><strongs number="1223">because</strongs>of <strongs number="543">unbelief</strongs>: </verse>

      <verse number='9'>There <strongs number="620">remaineth</strongs><strongs number="686">therefore</strongs>a <strongs number="4520">rest</strongs>to <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2992">people</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>he that is <strongs number="1525">entered</strongs><strongs number="1519">into</strongs><strongs number="846">his</strongs><strongs number="2663">rest</strongs>, <strongs number="846">he</strongs><strongs number="2532">also</strongs>hath <strongs number="2664">ceased</strongs><strongs number="575">from</strongs>his <strongs number="848">own</strongs><strongs number="2041">works</strongs>, <strongs number="5618">as</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs><em> did </em><strongs number="575">from</strongs><strongs number="2398">his</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>Let us <strongs number="4704">labor</strongs><strongs number="3767">therefore</strongs>to <strongs number="1525">enter</strongs><strongs number="1519">into</strongs><strongs number="1565">that</strongs><strongs number="2663">rest</strongs>, <strongs number="3363">lest</strongs>any <strongs number="5100">man</strongs><strongs number="4098">fall</strongs><strongs number="1722">after</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="846">same</strongs><strongs number="5262">example</strongs>of <strongs number="543">unbelief</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3056">word</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="2198">quick</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="1756">powerful</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="5114">sharper</strongs><strongs number="5228">than</strongs><strongs number="3956">any</strongs><strongs number="1366">two</strongs>-edged <strongs number="3162">sword</strongs>, <strongs number="1338">piercing</strongs><strongs number="2532">even</strongs><strongs number="891">to</strongs>the dividing <strongs number="3311">asunder</strongs><strongs number="*5037">of</strongs><strongs number="5590">soul</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="4151">spirit</strongs>, <strongs number="5037">and</strongs>of the <strongs number="719">joints</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3452">marrow</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><em> is </em>a <strongs number="2924">discerner</strongs>of the <strongs number="1761">thoughts</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="1771">intents</strongs>of the <strongs number="2588">heart</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><strongs number="2532 3756">Neither</strongs><strongs number="2076">is</strongs>there any <strongs number="2937">creature</strongs>that is not <strongs number="852">manifest</strongs>in his <strongs number="1799 846">sight</strongs>: <strongs number="1161">but</strongs>all <strongs number="3956">things</strongs><em> are </em><strongs number="1131">naked</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="5136">opened</strongs>unto <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3788">eyes</strongs>of <strongs number="846">him</strongs><strongs number="4314">with</strongs><strongs number="3739">whom</strongs>we have to <strongs number="2254 3056">do</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Seeing <strongs number="3767">then</strongs>that we <strongs number="2192">have</strongs>a <strongs number="3173">great</strongs>high <strongs number="749">priest</strongs>, that is passed <strongs number="1330">into</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3772">heavens</strongs>, <strongs number="2424">Jesus</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="5207">Son</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, let us hold <strongs number="2902">fast</strongs><em> our </em><strongs number="3671">profession</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>we <strongs number="2192">have</strongs><strongs number="3756">not</strongs>a high <strongs number="749">priest</strongs>which <strongs number="1410 3361">cannot</strongs>be touched with the feeling <strongs number="4834">of</strongs><strongs number="2257">our</strongs><strongs number="769">infirmities</strongs>; <strongs number="1161">but</strongs>was <strongs number="2596">in</strongs>all <strongs number="3956">points</strongs><strongs number="3985">tempted</strongs>like <strongs number="2596 3665">as</strongs><em> we </em><em> are, </em><em> yet </em><strongs number="5565">without</strongs><strongs number="266">sin</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>Let us <strongs number="3767">therefore</strongs><strongs number="4334">come</strongs><strongs number="3326 3954">boldly</strongs>unto <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="2362">throne</strongs>of <strongs number="5485">grace</strongs>, <strongs number="2443">that</strongs>we may <strongs number="2983">obtain</strongs><strongs number="1656">mercy</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="2147">find</strongs><strongs number="5485">grace</strongs>to help in time of <strongs number="1519 2121 996">need</strongs>. </verse>
