      <verse number='1'><strongs number="1161">Now</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4151">Spirit</strongs><strongs number="3004">speaketh</strongs><strongs number="4490">expressly</strongs>, <strongs number="3754">that</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs>the <strongs number="5306">latter</strongs><strongs number="2540">times</strongs><strongs number="5100">some</strongs>shall <strongs number="868">depart</strongs>from <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="4102">faith</strongs>, giving <strongs number="4337">heed</strongs>to <strongs number="4108">seducing</strongs><strongs number="4151">spirits</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="1319">doctrines</strongs>of <strongs number="1140">devils</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='2'>Speaking <strongs number="5573">lies</strongs><strongs number="1722">in</strongs><strongs number="5272">hypocrisy</strongs>; having <strongs number="2398">their</strongs><strongs number="4893">conscience</strongs>seared with a hot <strongs number="2743">iron</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="2967">Forbidding</strongs>to <strongs number="1060">marry</strongs>, <em> and </em><em> commanding </em>to <strongs number="567">abstain</strongs>from <strongs number="1033">meats</strongs>, <strongs number="3739">which</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>hath <strongs number="2936">created</strongs>to be <strongs number="1519 3336">received</strongs><strongs number="3326">with</strongs><strongs number="2169">thanksgiving</strongs>of them which <strongs number="4103">believe</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="1921">know</strongs><strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="225">truth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="3754">For</strongs><strongs number="3956">every</strongs><strongs number="2938">creature</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="2570">good</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="3762">nothing</strongs>to be <strongs number="579">refused</strongs>, if it be <strongs number="2983">received</strongs><strongs number="3326">with</strongs><strongs number="2169">thanksgiving</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs>it is <strongs number="37">sanctified</strongs><strongs number="1223">by</strongs>the <strongs number="3056">word</strongs>of <strongs number="2316">God</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs><strongs number="1783">prayer</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>If thou put the brethren in <strongs number="5294 3588 80">remembrance</strongs>of these <strongs number="5023">things</strongs>, thou shalt <strongs number="2071">be</strongs>a <strongs number="2570">good</strongs><strongs number="1249">minister</strongs>of <strongs number="2424">Jesus</strongs><strongs number="5547">Christ</strongs>, nourished <strongs number="1789">up</strongs>in <strongs number="3588">the</strongs><strongs number="3056">words</strongs>of <strongs number="4102">faith</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs>of <strongs number="2570">good</strongs><strongs number="1319">doctrine</strongs>, <strongs number="3739">whereunto</strongs>thou hast <strongs number="3877">attained</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="1161">But</strongs><strongs number="3868">refuse</strongs><strongs number="952">profane</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs>old <strongs number="1126">wives</strongs>' <strongs number="3454">fables</strongs>, <strongs number="1161">and</strongs><strongs number="1128">exercise</strongs><strongs number="4572">thyself</strongs><em> rather </em><strongs number="4314">unto</strongs><strongs number="2150">godliness</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="4984">bodily</strongs><strongs number="1129">exercise</strongs><strongs number="2076 5624">profiteth</strongs><strongs number="*3641">little</strongs>: <strongs number="1161">but</strongs><strongs number="2150">godliness</strongs><strongs number="2076">is</strongs><strongs number="5624">profitable</strongs><strongs number="4314">unto</strongs>all <strongs number="3956">things</strongs>, <strongs number="2192">having</strongs><strongs number="1860">promise</strongs>of the <strongs number="2222">life</strongs>that now <strongs number="3568">is</strongs>, <strongs number="2532">and</strongs>of that which is to <strongs number="3195">come</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='10'><strongs number="1063">For</strongs><strongs number="1519 5124">therefore</strongs>we <strongs number="2532">both</strongs><strongs number="2872">labor</strongs><strongs number="2532">and</strongs>suffer <strongs number="3679">reproach</strongs>, <strongs number="3754">because</strongs>we <strongs number="1679">trust</strongs><strongs number="1909">in</strongs>the <strongs number="2198">living</strongs><strongs number="2316">God</strongs>, <strongs number="3739">who</strongs><strongs number="2076">is</strongs>the <strongs number="4990">Savior</strongs>of <strongs number="3956">all</strongs><strongs number="444">men</strongs>, <strongs number="3122">especially</strongs>of those that <strongs number="4103">believe</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='13'><strongs number="2193">Till</strongs>I <strongs number="2064">come</strongs>, give <strongs number="4337">attendance</strongs>to <strongs number="320">reading</strongs>, to <strongs number="3874">exhortation</strongs>, to <strongs number="1319">doctrine</strongs>. </verse>
