      <verse number='1'>Now <strongs number="2063">these</strongs><em> are </em>the <strongs number="4687">commandments</strongs>, the <strongs number="2706">statutes</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4941">judgments</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>to <strongs number="3925">teach</strongs>you, that ye might <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><em> them </em>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834 8033">whither</strongs><strongs number="859">ye</strongs><strongs number="5674">go</strongs>to <strongs number="3423">possess</strongs>it: </verse>
      <verse number='2'><strongs number="4616">That</strongs>thou mightest <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, to <strongs number="8104">keep</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="2708">statutes</strongs>and his <strongs number="4687">commandments</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="595">I</strongs><strongs number="6680">command</strongs>thee, <strongs number="859">thou</strongs>, and thy <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, and thy <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>'s <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>of thy <strongs number="2416">life</strongs>; and <strongs number="4616">that</strongs>thy <strongs number="3117">days</strongs>may be <strongs number="748">prolonged</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="8085">Hear</strongs>therefore, O <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, and <strongs number="8104">observe</strongs>to <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><em> it </em>; <strongs number="834">that</strongs>it may be <strongs number="3190">well</strongs>with thee, and <strongs number="834">that</strongs>ye may <strongs number="7235">increase</strongs><strongs number="3966">mightily</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of thy <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>hath <strongs number="1696">promised</strongs>thee, in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>that <strongs number="2100">floweth</strongs>with <strongs number="2461">milk</strongs>and <strongs number="1706">honey</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="8085">Hear</strongs>, O <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>: The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>our <strongs number="430">God</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="259">one</strongs><strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And thou shalt <strongs number="157">love</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>with <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>thine <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>, and with <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>thy <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>, and with <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>thy <strongs number="3966">might</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>And <strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="1697">words</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="595">I</strongs><strongs number="6680">command</strongs>thee this <strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>thine <strongs number="3824">heart</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And thou shalt teach them <strongs number="8150">diligently</strongs>unto thy <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>, and shalt <strongs number="1696">talk</strongs>of them when thou <strongs number="3427">sittest</strongs>in thine <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, and when thou <strongs number="1980">walkest</strongs>by the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>, and when thou liest <strongs number="7901">down</strongs>, and when thou risest <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And thou shalt <strongs number="7194">bind</strongs>them for a <strongs number="226">sign</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>thine <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>, and they shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>as <strongs number="2903">frontlets</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs>thine <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And thou shalt <strongs number="3789">write</strongs>them <strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="4201">posts</strongs>of thy <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, and on thy <strongs number="8179">gates</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And it shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>shall have <strongs number="935">brought</strongs>thee <strongs number="413">into</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>he <strongs number="7650">swore</strongs>unto thy <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, to <strongs number="85">Abraham</strongs>, to <strongs number="3327">Isaac</strongs>, and to <strongs number="3290">Jacob</strongs>, to <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>thee <strongs number="1419">great</strongs>and <strongs number="2896">goodly</strongs><strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou <strongs number="1129">buildedst</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="1004">houses</strongs><strongs number="4392">full</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="2898">good</strongs><em> things </em>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou <strongs number="4390">filledst</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>, and <strongs number="953">wells</strongs><strongs number="2672">digged</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou <strongs number="2672">diggedst</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>, <strongs number="3754">vineyards</strongs>and olive <strongs number="2132">trees</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>thou <strongs number="5193">plantedst</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>; when thou shalt have <strongs number="398">eaten</strongs>and be <strongs number="7646">full</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='12'><em> Then </em><strongs number="8104">beware</strongs><strongs number="6435">lest</strongs>thou <strongs number="7911">forget</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>brought thee <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, from the <strongs number="4480 1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="5650">bondage</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>Thou shalt <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, and <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs>him, and shalt <strongs number="7650">swear</strongs>by his <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Ye shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="1980">go</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs><strongs number="312">other</strongs><strongs number="430">gods</strongs>, of the <strongs number="4480 430">gods</strongs>of the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><em> are </em>round <strongs number="5439">about</strongs>you; </verse>
      <verse number='15'>( <strongs number="3588">For</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs><em> is </em>a <strongs number="7067">jealous</strongs><strongs number="410">God</strongs><strongs number="7130">among</strongs>you) <strongs number="6435">lest</strongs>the <strongs number="639">anger</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>be <strongs number="2734">kindled</strongs>against thee, and <strongs number="8045">destroy</strongs>thee from <strongs number="4480 5921">off</strongs>the <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>of the <strongs number="127">earth</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>Ye shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5254">tempt</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>ye <strongs number="5254">tempted</strongs><em> him </em>in <strongs number="4532">Massah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>Ye shall diligently <strongs number="8104 8104">keep</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4687">commandments</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, and his <strongs number="5713">testimonies</strongs>, and his <strongs number="2706">statutes</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>he hath <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>thee. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And thou shalt <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><em> that </em><em> which </em><em> is </em><strongs number="3477">right</strongs>and <strongs number="2896">good</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: <strongs number="4616">that</strongs>it may be <strongs number="3190">well</strongs>with thee, and that thou mayest go <strongs number="935">in</strongs>and <strongs number="3423">possess</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="2896">good</strongs><strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="7650">swore</strongs>unto thy <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='19'>To cast <strongs number="1920">out</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>thine <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 6440">before</strongs>thee, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'><em> And </em><strongs number="3588">when</strongs>thy <strongs number="1121">son</strongs><strongs number="7592">asketh</strongs>thee in time to <strongs number="4279">come</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs><em> mean </em>the <strongs number="5713">testimonies</strongs>, and the <strongs number="2706">statutes</strongs>, and the <strongs number="4941">judgments</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>our <strongs number="430">God</strongs>hath <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs>you? </verse>
      <verse number='21'>Then thou shalt <strongs number="559">say</strongs>unto thy <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>, We <strongs number="1961">were</strongs><strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>'s <strongs number="5650">bondmen</strongs>in <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>; and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>brought us <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 4714">Egypt</strongs>with a <strongs number="2389">mighty</strongs><strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='22'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5414">showed</strongs><strongs number="226">signs</strongs>and <strongs number="4159">wonders</strongs>, <strongs number="1419">great</strongs>and <strongs number="7451">sore</strongs>, upon <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, upon <strongs number="6547">Pharaoh</strongs>, and upon <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="1004">household</strongs>, before our <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>: </verse>
