      <verse number='16'>And I <strongs number="6680">charged</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>your <strongs number="8199">judges</strongs>at <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="6256">time</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="8085">Hear</strongs><em> the </em><em> causes </em><strongs number="996">between</strongs>your <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, and <strongs number="8199">judge</strongs><strongs number="6664">righteously</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs><em> every </em><strongs number="376">man</strongs>and his <strongs number="251">brother</strongs>, and the <strongs number="1616">stranger</strongs><em> that </em><em> is </em>with him. </verse>

      <verse number='21'><strongs number="7200">Behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">God</strongs>hath <strongs number="5414">set</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>thee: go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><em> and </em><strongs number="3423">possess</strongs><em> it </em>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of thy <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>hath <strongs number="1696">said</strongs>unto thee; <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs>, <strongs number="408">neither</strongs>be <strongs number="2865">discouraged</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='24'>And they <strongs number="6437">turned</strongs>and went <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>into the <strongs number="2022">mountain</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="5704">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="5158">valley</strongs>of <strongs number="812">Eshcol</strongs>, and searched it <strongs number="7270 *853">out</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='26'>Notwithstanding ye <strongs number="14">would</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>, but rebelled <strongs number="4784">against</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="6310">commandment</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>your <strongs number="430">God</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='27'>And ye <strongs number="7279">murmured</strongs>in your <strongs number="168">tents</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Because the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="8135">hated</strongs>us, he hath brought us <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, to <strongs number="5414">deliver</strongs>us into the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of the <strongs number="567">Amorites</strongs>, to <strongs number="8045">destroy</strongs>us. </verse>

      <verse number='42'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="559">Say</strongs>unto them, Go not <strongs number="5927 3808">up</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">neither</strongs><strongs number="3898">fight</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>I <em> am </em><strongs number="369">not</strongs><strongs number="7130">among</strongs>you; <strongs number="3808">lest</strongs>ye be <strongs number="5062">smitten</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>your <strongs number="341">enemies</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='44'>And the <strongs number="567">Amorites</strongs>, which <strongs number="3427">dwelt</strongs>in <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="2022">mountain</strongs>, came <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="7125">against</strongs>you, and <strongs number="7291">chased</strongs>you, <strongs number="834">as</strongs><strongs number="1682">bees</strongs><strongs number="6213">do</strongs>, and <strongs number="3807">destroyed</strongs>you in <strongs number="8165">Seir</strongs>, <em> even </em><strongs number="5704">unto</strongs><strongs number="2767">Hormah</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='45'>And ye <strongs number="7725">returned</strongs>and <strongs number="1058">wept</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; but the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>would <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="8085">hearken</strongs>to your <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs>give <strongs number="238">ear</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>you. </verse>
      <verse number='46'>So ye <strongs number="3427">abode</strongs>in <strongs number="6946">Kadesh</strongs><strongs number="7227">many</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>, according unto the <strongs number="3117">days</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>ye <strongs number="3427">abode</strongs><em> there </em>. </verse>
