      <verse number='2'><strongs number="8085">Hear</strongs>ye <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>of <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>, and <strongs number="1696">speak</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and <strongs number="5921">to</strongs>the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And <strongs number="559">say</strongs>thou <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="430">God</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>; <strongs number="779">Cursed</strongs><em> be </em>the <strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="8085">obeyeth</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>of <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>, </verse>

      <verse number='6'>Then the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="7121">Proclaim</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="428">these</strongs><strongs number="1697">words</strongs>in the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="2351">streets</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="8085">Hear</strongs>ye <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>of <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>, and <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>I earnestly <strongs number="5749 5749">protested</strongs>unto your <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>in the <strongs number="3117">day</strongs><em> that </em>I brought them <strongs number="5927 *853">up</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>, <em> even </em><strongs number="5704">unto</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>, rising <strongs number="7925">early</strongs>and <strongs number="5749">protesting</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="8085">Obey</strongs>my <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>Yet they <strongs number="8085">obeyed</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>, <strongs number="3808">nor</strongs><strongs number="5186">inclined</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="241">ear</strongs>, but <strongs number="1980">walked</strongs>every <strongs number="376">one</strongs>in the <strongs number="8307">imagination</strongs>of their <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>: therefore I will <strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>them <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>of <strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>I <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs><em> them </em>to <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>; but they <strongs number="6213">did</strongs><em> them </em><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, A <strongs number="7195">conspiracy</strongs>is <strongs number="4672">found</strongs>among the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and among the <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>They are turned <strongs number="7725">back</strongs><strongs number="5921">to</strongs>the <strongs number="5771">iniquities</strongs>of their <strongs number="7223 1">forefathers</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="3985">refused</strongs>to <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>; and <strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs><strongs number="312">other</strongs><strongs number="430">gods</strongs>to <strongs number="5647">serve</strongs>them: the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>and the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>have <strongs number="6565">broken</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="1285">covenant</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs>I <strongs number="3772">made</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>their <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I will <strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="413">upon</strongs>them, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>they shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>be <strongs number="3201">able</strongs>to <strongs number="3318 *4480">escape</strongs>; and though they shall <strongs number="2199">cry</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, I will <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="8085">hearken</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>Then shall the <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>and <strongs number="3427">inhabitants</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs><strongs number="1980">go</strongs>, and <strongs number="2199">cry</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="430">gods</strongs>unto <strongs number="834">whom</strongs><strongs number="1992">they</strongs>offer <strongs number="6999">incense</strongs>: but they shall <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>save them at <strongs number="3467 3467">all</strongs>in the <strongs number="6256">time</strongs>of their <strongs number="7451">trouble</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><em> according </em><em> to </em>the <strongs number="4557">number</strongs>of thy <strongs number="5892">cities</strongs><strongs number="1961">were</strongs>thy <strongs number="430">gods</strongs>, O <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>; and <em> according </em><em> to </em>the <strongs number="4557">number</strongs>of the <strongs number="2351">streets</strongs>of <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>have ye set <strongs number="7760">up</strongs><strongs number="4196">altars</strongs>to <em> that </em>shameful <strongs number="1322">thing</strongs>, <em> even </em><strongs number="4196">altars</strongs>to burn <strongs number="6999">incense</strongs>unto <strongs number="1168">Baal</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Therefore <strongs number="6419">pray</strongs><strongs number="408">not</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs><strongs number="1157">for</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <strongs number="408">neither</strongs>lift <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>a <strongs number="7440">cry</strongs>or <strongs number="8605">prayer</strongs><strongs number="1157">for</strongs>them: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="589">I</strongs>will <strongs number="369">not</strongs><strongs number="8085">hear</strongs><em> them </em>in the <strongs number="6256">time</strongs>that they <strongs number="7121">cry</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me <strongs number="1157">for</strongs>their <strongs number="7451">trouble</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'><strongs number="4100">What</strongs>hath my <strongs number="3039">beloved</strongs>to do in mine <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, <em> seeing </em>she hath <strongs number="6213">wrought</strongs><strongs number="4209">lewdness</strongs>with <strongs number="7227">many</strongs>, and the <strongs number="6944">holy</strongs><strongs number="1320">flesh</strongs>is <strongs number="5674">passed</strongs><strongs number="4480 5921">from</strongs>thee? <strongs number="3588">when</strongs>thou doest <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>, <strongs number="227">then</strongs>thou <strongs number="5937">rejoicest</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="7121">called</strongs>thy <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>, A <strongs number="7488">green</strongs>olive <strongs number="2132">tree</strongs>, <strongs number="3303">fair</strongs>, <em> and </em>of <strongs number="8389">goodly</strongs><strongs number="6529">fruit</strongs>: with the <strongs number="6963">noise</strongs>of a <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="1999">tumult</strongs>he hath <strongs number="3341">kindled</strongs><strongs number="784">fire</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>it, and the <strongs number="1808">branches</strongs>of it are <strongs number="7489">broken</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>For the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>, that <strongs number="5193">planted</strongs>thee, hath <strongs number="1696">pronounced</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>thee, <strongs number="1588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>and of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>they have <strongs number="6213">done</strongs>against themselves to provoke me to <strongs number="3707">anger</strongs>in offering <strongs number="6999">incense</strongs>unto <strongs number="1168">Baal</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath given me <strongs number="3045">knowledge</strongs><em> of </em><em> it </em>, and I <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><em> it </em>: <strongs number="227">then</strongs>thou <strongs number="7200">showedst</strongs>me their <strongs number="4611">doings</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>But <strongs number="589">I</strongs><em> was </em>like a <strongs number="3532">lamb</strongs><em> or </em>an <strongs number="441">ox</strongs><em> that </em>is <strongs number="2986">brought</strongs>to the <strongs number="2873">slaughter</strongs>; and I <strongs number="3045">knew</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>they had <strongs number="2803">devised</strongs><strongs number="4284">devices</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>me, <em> saying </em>, Let us <strongs number="7843">destroy</strongs>the <strongs number="6086">tree</strongs>with the <strongs number="3899">fruit</strongs>thereof, and let us cut him <strongs number="3772">off</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>of the <strongs number="2416">living</strongs>, that his <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>may be <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="5750">more</strongs><strongs number="2142">remembered</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>But, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>, that <strongs number="8199">judgest</strongs><strongs number="6664">righteously</strongs>, that <strongs number="974">triest</strongs>the <strongs number="3629">reins</strongs>and the <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>, let me <strongs number="7200">see</strongs>thy <strongs number="5360">vengeance</strongs><strongs number="4480">on</strongs>them: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>thee have I <strongs number="1540">revealed</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>my <strongs number="7379">cause</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5921">of</strongs>the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>of <strongs number="6068">Anathoth</strongs>, that <strongs number="1245">seek</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>thy <strongs number="5315">life</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="5012">Prophesy</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>in the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, that thou <strongs number="4191">die</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>by our <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='22'><strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="3541">thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>of <strongs number="6635">hosts</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, I will <strongs number="6485 5921">punish</strongs>them: the young <strongs number="970">men</strongs>shall <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>by the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>; their <strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>and their <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>shall <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>by <strongs number="7458">famine</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='23'>And there shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="7611">remnant</strongs>of them: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>I will <strongs number="935">bring</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="413">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>of <strongs number="6068">Anathoth</strongs>, <em> even </em>the <strongs number="8141">year</strongs>of their <strongs number="6486">visitation</strongs>. </verse>
