      <verse number='1'>To the chief <strongs number="5329">Musician</strongs>, A <strongs number="4210">Psalm</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>. I <strongs number="6960">waited</strongs><strongs number="6960">patiently</strongs>for the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; and he <strongs number="5186">inclined</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>me, and <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs>my <strongs number="7775">cry</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>He brought me <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>also out of a <strongs number="7588">horrible</strongs><strongs number="4480 953">pit</strongs>, out of the <strongs number="3121">miry</strongs><strongs number="4480 2916">clay</strongs>, and <strongs number="6965">set</strongs>my <strongs number="7272">feet</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>a <strongs number="5553">rock</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="3559">established</strongs>my <strongs number="838">goings</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And he hath <strongs number="5414">put</strongs>a <strongs number="2319">new</strongs><strongs number="7892">song</strongs>in my <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>, <em> even </em><strongs number="8416">praise</strongs>unto our <strongs number="430">God</strongs>: <strongs number="7227">many</strongs>shall <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><em> it </em>, and <strongs number="3372">fear</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="982">trust</strongs>in the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'><strongs number="835">Blessed</strongs><em> is </em>that <strongs number="1397">man</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="7760">maketh</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>his <strongs number="4009">trust</strongs>, and <strongs number="6437 413">respecteth</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>the <strongs number="7295">proud</strongs>, nor such as turn <strongs number="7750">aside</strongs>to <strongs number="3577">lies</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'><strongs number="7227">Many</strongs>, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>my <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <em> are </em>thy wonderful <strongs number="6381">works</strongs><em> which </em><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>hast <strongs number="6213">done</strongs>, and thy <strongs number="4284">thoughts</strongs><em> which </em><em> are </em><strongs number="413">to</strongs>usward: they <strongs number="369">cannot</strongs>be reckoned up in <strongs number="6186">order</strongs>unto <strongs number="413">thee</strongs>: <em> if </em>I would <strongs number="5046">declare</strongs>and <strongs number="1696">speak</strongs><em> of </em><em> them </em>, they are <strongs number="6105">more</strongs>than can be <strongs number="4480 5608">numbered</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'><strongs number="2077">Sacrifice</strongs>and <strongs number="4503">offering</strongs>thou didst <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2654">desire</strongs>; mine <strongs number="241">ears</strongs>hast thou <strongs number="3738">opened</strongs>: burnt <strongs number="5930">offering</strongs>and sin <strongs number="2401">offering</strongs>hast thou <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7592">required</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'><strongs number="227">Then</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>I, <strongs number="2009">Lo</strongs>, I <strongs number="935">come</strongs>: in the <strongs number="4039">volume</strongs>of the <strongs number="5612">book</strongs><em> it </em><em> is </em><strongs number="3789">written</strongs><strongs number="5921">of</strongs>me, </verse>
      <verse number='8'>I <strongs number="2654">delight</strongs>to <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>thy <strongs number="7522">will</strongs>, O my <strongs number="430">God</strongs>: yea, thy <strongs number="8451">law</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="8432">within</strongs>my <strongs number="4578">heart</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='10'>I have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3680">hid</strongs>thy <strongs number="6666">righteousness</strongs><strongs number="8432">within</strongs>my <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>; I have <strongs number="559">declared</strongs>thy <strongs number="530">faithfulness</strongs>and thy <strongs number="8668">salvation</strongs>: I have <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3582">concealed</strongs>thy <strongs number="2617">lovingkindness</strongs>and thy <strongs number="571">truth</strongs>from the <strongs number="7227">great</strongs><strongs number="6951">congregation</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'><strongs number="3607">Withhold</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>thy tender <strongs number="7356">mercies</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>me, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: let thy <strongs number="2617">lovingkindness</strongs>and thy <strongs number="571">truth</strongs><strongs number="8548">continually</strongs><strongs number="5341">preserve</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="5704 369 4557">innumerable</strongs><strongs number="7451">evils</strongs>have compassed me <strongs number="661 5921">about</strongs>: mine <strongs number="5771">iniquities</strongs>have taken <strongs number="5381">hold</strongs>upon me, so that I am <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3201">able</strongs>to look <strongs number="7200">up</strongs>; they are <strongs number="6105">more</strongs>than the <strongs number="4480 8185">hairs</strongs>of mine <strongs number="7218">head</strongs>: therefore my <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs><strongs number="5800">faileth</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>Be <strongs number="7521">pleased</strongs>, O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, to <strongs number="5337">deliver</strongs>me: O <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, make <strongs number="2363">haste</strongs>to <strongs number="5833">help</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>Let them be <strongs number="954">ashamed</strongs>and <strongs number="2659">confounded</strongs><strongs number="3162">together</strongs>that seek <strongs number="1245">after</strongs>my <strongs number="5315">soul</strongs>to <strongs number="5595">destroy</strongs>it; let them be <strongs number="5472">driven</strongs><strongs number="268">backward</strongs>and put to <strongs number="3637">shame</strongs>that <strongs number="2655">wish</strongs>me <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>. </verse>
