<verse number='2'>Can a <strongs number="1397">man</strongs>be <strongs number="5532">profitable</strongs>unto <strongs number="410">God</strongs>, as he <strongs number="3588">that</strongs>is <strongs number="7919">wise</strongs>may be <strongs number="5532">profitable</strongs><strongs number="5921">unto</strongs>himself? </verse>
<verse number='3'><em> Is </em><em> it </em>any <strongs number="2656">pleasure</strongs>to the <strongs number="7706">Almighty</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">that</strongs>thou art <strongs number="6663">righteous</strongs>? <strongs number="518">or</strongs><em> is </em><em> it </em><strongs number="1215">gain</strongs><em> to </em><em> him </em>, <strongs number="3588">that</strongs>thou makest thy ways <strongs number="8552 1870">perfect</strongs>? </verse>
<verse number='4'>Will he <strongs number="3198">reprove</strongs>thee for <strongs number="4480 3374">fear</strongs>of thee? will he <strongs number="935">enter</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>thee into <strongs number="4941">judgment</strongs>? </verse>

<verse number='6'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs>thou hast taken a <strongs number="2254">pledge</strongs>from thy <strongs number="251">brother</strongs>for <strongs number="2600">naught</strongs>, and <strongs number="6584">stripped</strongs>the <strongs number="6174">naked</strongs>of their <strongs number="899">clothing</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='7'>Thou hast <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>given <strongs number="4325">water</strongs>to the <strongs number="5889">weary</strongs>to <strongs number="8248">drink</strongs>, and thou hast <strongs number="4513">withheld</strongs><strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 7457">hungry</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='10'><strongs number="5921 3651">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="6341">snares</strongs><em> are </em>round <strongs number="5439">about</strongs>thee, and <strongs number="6597">sudden</strongs><strongs number="6343">fear</strongs><strongs number="926">troubleth</strongs>thee; </verse>
<verse number='11'><strongs number="176">Or</strongs><strongs number="2822">darkness</strongs>, <em> that </em>thou canst <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7200">see</strongs>; and <strongs number="8229">abundance</strongs>of <strongs number="4325">waters</strongs><strongs number="3680">cover</strongs>thee. </verse>
<verse number='12'><em> Is </em><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="433">God</strongs>in the <strongs number="1363">height</strongs>of <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>? and <strongs number="7200">behold</strongs>the <strongs number="7218">height</strongs>of the <strongs number="3556">stars</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">how</strongs>high they <strongs number="7311">are</strongs>! </verse>
<verse number='13'>And thou <strongs number="559">sayest</strongs>, <strongs number="4100">How</strongs>doth <strongs number="410">God</strongs><strongs number="3045">know</strongs>? can he <strongs number="8199">judge</strongs><strongs number="1157">through</strongs>the dark <strongs number="6205">cloud</strongs>? </verse>
<verse number='14'>Thick <strongs number="5645">clouds</strongs><em> are </em>a <strongs number="5643">covering</strongs>to him, that he <strongs number="7200">seeth</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>; and he <strongs number="1980">walketh</strongs>in the <strongs number="2329">circuit</strongs>of <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='15'>Hast thou <strongs number="8104">marked</strongs>the <strongs number="5769">old</strongs><strongs number="734">way</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="205">wicked</strongs><strongs number="4962">men</strongs>have <strongs number="1869">trodden</strongs>? </verse>
<verse number='16'><strongs number="834">Which</strongs>were cut <strongs number="7059">down</strongs>out <strongs number="3808">of</strongs><strongs number="6256">time</strongs>, whose <strongs number="3247">foundation</strongs>was <strongs number="3332">overflown</strongs>with a <strongs number="5104">flood</strongs>: </verse>
<verse number='17'>Which <strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto <strongs number="410">God</strongs>, <strongs number="5493">Depart</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>us: and <strongs number="4100">what</strongs>can the <strongs number="7706">Almighty</strongs><strongs number="6466">do</strongs>for them? </verse>
<verse number='18'>Yet <strongs number="1931">he</strongs><strongs number="4390">filled</strongs>their <strongs number="1004">houses</strongs>with <strongs number="2896">good</strongs><em> things </em>: but the <strongs number="6098">counsel</strongs>of the <strongs number="7563">wicked</strongs>is <strongs number="7368">far</strongs><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>me. </verse>
<verse number='19'>The <strongs number="6662">righteous</strongs><strongs number="7200">see</strongs><em> it </em>, and are <strongs number="8055">glad</strongs>: and the <strongs number="5355">innocent</strongs>laugh them to <strongs number="3932">scorn</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='20'><strongs number="518">Whereas</strongs>our <strongs number="7009">substance</strongs>is <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>cut <strongs number="3582">down</strongs>, but the <strongs number="3499">remnant</strongs>of them the <strongs number="784">fire</strongs><strongs number="398">consumeth</strongs>. </verse>

<verse number='23'><strongs number="518">If</strongs>thou <strongs number="7725">return</strongs><strongs number="5704">to</strongs>the <strongs number="7706">Almighty</strongs>, thou shalt be built <strongs number="1129">up</strongs>, thou shalt put away <strongs number="5766">iniquity</strongs><strongs number="7368">far</strongs>from thy <strongs number="4480 168">tabernacles</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='24'>Then shalt thou lay <strongs number="7896">up</strongs><strongs number="1220">gold</strongs><strongs number="5921">as</strongs><strongs number="6083">dust</strongs>, and the <em> gold </em>of <strongs number="211">Ophir</strongs>as the <strongs number="6697">stones</strongs>of the <strongs number="5158">brooks</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='25'>Yea, the <strongs number="7706">Almighty</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>thy <strongs number="1220">defense</strongs>, and thou shalt have <strongs number="8443">plenty</strongs>of <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='26'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="227">then</strongs>shalt thou have thy <strongs number="6026">delight</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>the <strongs number="7706">Almighty</strongs>, and shalt lift <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>thy <strongs number="6440">face</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="433">God</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='27'>Thou shalt make thy <strongs number="6279">prayer</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, and he shall <strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>thee, and thou shalt <strongs number="7999">pay</strongs>thy <strongs number="5088">vows</strongs>. </verse>
<verse number='28'>Thou shalt also <strongs number="1504">decree</strongs>a <strongs number="562">thing</strongs>, and it shall be <strongs number="6965">established</strongs>unto thee: and the <strongs number="216">light</strongs>shall <strongs number="5050">shine</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>thy <strongs number="1870">ways</strongs>. </verse>
