And <strongs number="4782">Mordecai</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="635">Esther</strongs>had <strongs number="5046">told</strongs><strongs number="4100">what</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs><em> was </em>unto her. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>took <strongs number="5493">off</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="2885">ring</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>he had <strongs number="5674">taken</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 2001">Haman</strongs>, and <strongs number="5414">gave</strongs>it unto <strongs number="4782">Mordecai</strongs>.       <verse number='13'>The <strongs number="6572">copy</strongs>of the <strongs number="3791">writing</strongs>for a <strongs number="1881">commandment</strongs>to be <strongs number="5414">given</strongs>in <strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="4082 4082">province</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="1540">published</strongs>unto <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, and that the <strongs number="3064">Jews</strongs>should <strongs number="1961">be</strongs><strongs number="6264">ready</strongs>against <strongs number="2088">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>to avenge <strongs number="5358">themselves</strongs>on their <strongs number="4480 341">enemies</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='15'>And <strongs number="4782">Mordecai</strongs>went <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 6440">presence</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>in <strongs number="4438">royal</strongs><strongs number="3830">apparel</strongs>of <strongs number="8504">blue</strongs>and <strongs number="2353">white</strongs>, and with a <strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="5850">crown</strongs>of <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs>, and with a <strongs number="8509">garment</strongs>of fine <strongs number="948">linen</strongs>and <strongs number="713">purple</strongs>: and the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>of <strongs number="7800">Shushan</strongs><strongs number="6670">rejoiced</strongs>and was <strongs number="8055">glad</strongs>. </verse>
