      <verse number='2'>And <strongs number="7093">after</strongs><em> certain </em><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>he went <strongs number="3381">down</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs>to <strongs number="8111">Samaria</strongs>.       <verse number='4'>And <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="1875">Inquire</strongs>, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, at <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="3117">today</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>Therefore the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>gathered <strongs number="6908">together</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>of <strongs number="5030">prophets</strongs><strongs number="702">four</strongs><strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs><strongs number="376">men</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, Shall we <strongs number="1980">go</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="7433">Ramoth</strongs>-gilead to <strongs number="4421">battle</strongs>, <strongs number="518">or</strongs>shall I <strongs number="2308">forbear</strongs>? And they <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>; for <strongs number="430">God</strongs>will <strongs number="5414">deliver</strongs><em> it </em>into the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>But <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <em> Is </em><em> there </em><strongs number="369">not</strongs><strongs number="6311">here</strongs>a <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5750">besides</strongs>, that we might <strongs number="1875">inquire</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 854">him</strongs>? </verse>

      <verse number='8'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="7121">called</strongs><strongs number="413">for</strongs><strongs number="259">one</strongs><em> of </em><em> his </em><strongs number="5631">officers</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Fetch <strongs number="4116">quickly</strongs><strongs number="4319">Micaiah</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="3229">Imla</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='12'>And the <strongs number="4397">messenger</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs>to <strongs number="7121">call</strongs><strongs number="4321">Micaiah</strongs><strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>him, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="1697">words</strongs>of the <strongs number="5030">prophets</strongs><em> declare </em><strongs number="2896">good</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>with <strongs number="259">one</strongs><strongs number="6310">assent</strongs>; let thy <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>therefore, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>like <strongs number="259">one</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>theirs, and <strongs number="1696">speak</strongs>thou <strongs number="2896">good</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='14'>And when he was <strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>, the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, <strongs number="4318">Micaiah</strongs>, shall we <strongs number="1980">go</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="7433">Ramoth</strongs>-gilead to <strongs number="4421">battle</strongs>, <strongs number="518">or</strongs>shall I <strongs number="2308">forbear</strongs>? And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Go ye <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>, and <strongs number="6743">prosper</strongs>, and they shall be <strongs number="5414">delivered</strongs>into your <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>him, How <strongs number="5704 4100">many</strongs><strongs number="6471">times</strongs>shall <strongs number="589">I</strongs><strongs number="7650">adjure</strongs>thee <strongs number="834">that</strongs>thou <strongs number="1696">say</strongs><strongs number="3808">nothing</strongs><strongs number="7535">but</strongs>the <strongs number="571">truth</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>me in the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='16'>Then he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, I did <strongs number="7200">see</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="6327">scattered</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="2022">mountains</strongs>, as <strongs number="6629">sheep</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>have <strongs number="369">no</strongs><strongs number="7462">shepherd</strongs>: and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="428">These</strongs>have <strongs number="3808">no</strongs><strongs number="113">master</strongs>; let them <strongs number="7725">return</strongs><em> therefore </em>every <strongs number="376">man</strongs>to his <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>in <strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs>, Did I <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="559 413">tell</strongs>thee <em> that </em>he would <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5012">prophesy</strongs><strongs number="2896">good</strongs><strongs number="5921">unto</strongs>me, <strongs number="3588 518">but</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='18'>Again he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="3651">Therefore</strongs><strongs number="8085">hear</strongs>the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>; I <strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="3427">sitting</strongs><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>his <strongs number="3678">throne</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="6635">host</strongs>of <strongs number="8064">heaven</strongs><strongs number="5975">standing</strongs><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>his right <strongs number="3225">hand</strongs>and <em> on </em>his <strongs number="8040">left</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="4310">Who</strongs>shall <strongs number="6601">entice</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, that he may go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>and <strongs number="5307">fall</strongs>at <strongs number="7433">Ramoth</strongs>-gilead? And <strongs number="2088">one</strongs><strongs number="559">spoke</strongs><strongs number="559">saying</strongs>after this <strongs number="3602">manner</strongs>, and <strongs number="2088">another</strongs><strongs number="559">saying</strongs>after that <strongs number="3602">manner</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>Then there came <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>a <strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs>, and <strongs number="5975">stood</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="589">I</strongs>will <strongs number="6601">entice</strongs>him. And the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, <strongs number="4100">Wherewith</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='21'>And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, I will go <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>, and <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>a <strongs number="8267">lying</strongs><strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs>in the <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>of <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="5030">prophets</strongs>. And <em> the </em><em> LORD </em><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Thou shalt <strongs number="6601">entice</strongs><em> him </em>, and thou shalt <strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="3201">prevail</strongs>: go <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>, and <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><em> even </em><strongs number="3651">so</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'><strongs number="6258">Now</strongs>therefore, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="5414">put</strongs>a <strongs number="8267">lying</strongs><strongs number="7307">spirit</strongs>in the <strongs number="6310">mouth</strongs>of <strongs number="428">these</strongs>thy <strongs number="5030">prophets</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs>thee. </verse>

      <verse number='24'>And <strongs number="4321">Micaiah</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, thou shalt <strongs number="7200">see</strongs>on <strongs number="1931">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs><strongs number="834">when</strongs>thou shalt <strongs number="935">go</strongs>into an inner <strongs number="2315 2315">chamber</strongs>to hide <strongs number="2244">thyself</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='25'>Then the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="3947">Take</strongs>ye <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="4321">Micaiah</strongs>, and carry him <strongs number="7725">back</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="526">Amon</strongs>the <strongs number="8269">governor</strongs>of the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, and <strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="3101">Joash</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='26'>And <strongs number="559">say</strongs>, <strongs number="3541">Thus</strongs><strongs number="559">saith</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>, <strongs number="7760">Put</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><em> fellow </em>in the <strongs number="1004 3608">prison</strongs>, and <strongs number="398">feed</strongs>him with <strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>of <strongs number="3906">affliction</strongs>and with <strongs number="4325">water</strongs>of <strongs number="3906">affliction</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">until</strongs>I <strongs number="7725">return</strongs>in <strongs number="7965">peace</strongs>. </verse>

And he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="8085">Hearken</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>ye <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='28'>So the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>and <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>went <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="7433">Ramoth</strongs>-gilead. </verse>
      <verse number='29'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs>, I will disguise <strongs number="2664">myself</strongs>, and will <strongs number="935">go</strongs>to the <strongs number="4421">battle</strongs>; but put thou <strongs number="859 3847">on</strongs>thy <strongs number="899">robes</strongs>. So the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>disguised <strongs number="2664">himself</strongs>; and they <strongs number="935">went</strongs>to the <strongs number="4421">battle</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='30'>Now the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="758">Syria</strongs>had <strongs number="6680">commanded</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="8269">captains</strongs>of the <strongs number="7393">chariots</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> were </em>with him, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="3898">Fight</strongs>ye <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs><strongs number="6996">small</strongs><strongs number="854">or</strongs><strongs number="1419">great</strongs>, <strongs number="3588 518">save</strongs><strongs number="905">only</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>

Therefore they <strongs number="5437">compassed</strongs><strongs number="5921">about</strongs>him to <strongs number="3898">fight</strongs>: but <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs>cried <strongs number="2199">out</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5826">helped</strongs>him; and <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="5496">moved</strongs>them <em> to </em><em> depart </em><strongs number="4480">from</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='32'>For it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, that, when the <strongs number="8269">captains</strongs>of the <strongs number="7393">chariots</strongs><strongs number="7200">perceived</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs>it <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, they turned back <strongs number="7725">again</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 310">pursuing</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='33'>And a <em> certain </em><strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="4900">drew</strongs>a <strongs number="7198">bow</strongs>at a <strongs number="8537">venture</strongs>, and <strongs number="5221">smote</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="996">between</strongs>the <strongs number="1694">joints</strongs>of the <strongs number="8302">harness</strongs>: therefore he <strongs number="559">said</strongs>to his chariot <strongs number="7395">man</strongs>, <strongs number="2015">Turn</strongs>thine <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>, that thou mayest carry me <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="4264">host</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>I am <strongs number="2470">wounded</strongs>. </verse>
