      <verse number='22'><strongs number="3605">All</strongs>these <em> which </em><em> were </em><strongs number="1305">chosen</strongs>to be <strongs number="7778">porters</strongs>in the <strongs number="5592">gates</strongs><em> were </em>two <strongs number="3967">hundred</strongs>and <strongs number="8147 6240">twelve</strongs>. <strongs number="1992">These</strongs>were reckoned by their <strongs number="3187">genealogy</strongs>in their <strongs number="2691">villages</strongs>, whom <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>and <strongs number="8050">Samuel</strongs>the <strongs number="7203">seer</strongs>did <strongs number="3245">ordain</strongs>in their set <strongs number="530">office</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>So <strongs number="1992">they</strongs>and their <strongs number="1121">children</strongs><em> had </em>the <strongs number="5921">oversight</strongs>of the <strongs number="8179">gates</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <em> namely </em>, the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="168">tabernacle</strongs>, by <strongs number="4931">wards</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='24'>In <strongs number="702">four</strongs><strongs number="7307">quarters</strongs><strongs number="1961">were</strongs>the <strongs number="7778">porters</strongs>, toward the <strongs number="4217">east</strongs>, <strongs number="3220">west</strongs>, <strongs number="6828">north</strongs>, and <strongs number="5045">south</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='25'>And their <strongs number="251">brethren</strongs>, <em> which </em><em> were </em>in their <strongs number="2691">villages</strongs>, <em> were </em>to <strongs number="935">come</strongs>after <strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="3117">days</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 6256">time</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs><strongs number="6256">time</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs><strongs number="428">them</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='26'><strongs number="3588">For</strongs><strongs number="1992">these</strongs><strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>, the <strongs number="702">four</strongs><strongs number="1368">chief</strongs><strongs number="7778">porters</strongs>, were in <em> their </em>set <strongs number="530">office</strongs>, and <strongs number="1961">were</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>the <strongs number="3957">chambers</strongs>and <strongs number="214">treasuries</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='27'>And they <strongs number="3885">lodged</strongs>round <strongs number="5439">about</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">because</strongs>the <strongs number="4931">charge</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="5921">upon</strongs>them, and the <strongs number="4668">opening</strongs>thereof every <strongs number="1242 1242">morning</strongs><em> pertained </em>to <strongs number="1992">them</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='31'>And <strongs number="4993">Mattithiah</strongs>, <em> one </em><strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="3881">Levites</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">who</strongs><em> was </em>the <strongs number="1060">firstborn</strongs>of <strongs number="7967">Shallum</strongs>the <strongs number="7145">Korahite</strongs>, had the set <strongs number="530">office</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>the things that were <strongs number="4639">made</strongs>in the <strongs number="2281">pans</strongs>. </verse>
