      <verse number='1'>Then <strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs><strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whose</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="1121">son</strongs>he had restored to <strongs number="2421">life</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="6965">Arise</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">go</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>and thine <strongs number="1004">household</strongs>, and <strongs number="1481">sojourn</strongs><strongs number="834">wheresoever</strongs>thou canst <strongs number="1481">sojourn</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="7121">called</strongs>for a <strongs number="7458">famine</strongs>; and it shall <strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="413">upon</strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs><strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs><strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>, and <strongs number="6213">did</strongs>after the <strongs number="1697">saying</strongs>of the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>: and <strongs number="1931">she</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs>with her <strongs number="1004">household</strongs>, and <strongs number="1481">sojourned</strongs>in the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>of the <strongs number="6430">Philistines</strongs><strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>at the <strongs number="7651">seven</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>' <strongs number="4480 7097">end</strongs>, that the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs><strongs number="7725">returned</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 776">land</strongs>of the <strongs number="6430">Philistines</strongs>: and she went <strongs number="3318">forth</strongs>to <strongs number="6817">cry</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="413">for</strongs>her <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>and <strongs number="413">for</strongs>her <strongs number="7704">land</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="1696">talked</strongs><strongs number="413">with</strongs><strongs number="1522">Gehazi</strongs>the <strongs number="5288">servant</strongs>of the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="5608">Tell</strongs>me, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, <strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the great <strongs number="1419">things</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs>hath <strongs number="6213">done</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, as <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>was <strongs number="5608">telling</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="834">how</strongs>he had restored a dead body to <strongs number="2421 *853 4191">life</strongs>, that, <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>, <strongs number="834">whose</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="1121">son</strongs>he had restored to <strongs number="2421">life</strongs>, <strongs number="6817">cried</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs>her <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>and <strongs number="5921">for</strongs>her <strongs number="7704">land</strongs>.       <verse number='6'>And when the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="7592">asked</strongs>the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>, she <strongs number="5608">told</strongs>him. So the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="5414">appointed</strongs>unto her a <strongs number="259">certain</strongs><strongs number="5631">officer</strongs>, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, <strongs number="7725">Restore</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><em> was </em>hers, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="8393">fruits</strongs>of the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>since the <strongs number="4480 3117">day</strongs>that she <strongs number="5800">left</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="776">land</strongs>, even <strongs number="5704">until</strongs><strongs number="6258">now</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>And <strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs>to <strongs number="1834">Damascus</strongs>; and <strongs number="1130">Ben</strongs>-hadad the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="758">Syria</strongs>was <strongs number="2470">sick</strongs>; and it was <strongs number="5046">told</strongs>him, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, The <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>is <strongs number="935">come</strongs><strongs number="5704 2008">hither</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs><strongs number="2371">Hazael</strongs>, <strongs number="3947">Take</strongs>a <strongs number="4503">present</strongs>in thine <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">go</strongs>, <strongs number="7122">meet</strongs>the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs>, and <strongs number="1875">inquire</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">by</strongs>him, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, Shall I <strongs number="2421">recover</strongs>of this <strongs number="4480 2483 2088">disease</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='9'>So <strongs number="2371">Hazael</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs>to <strongs number="7122">meet</strongs>him, and <strongs number="3947">took</strongs>a <strongs number="4503">present</strongs><strongs number="3027">with</strongs>him, even of <strongs number="3605">every</strongs>good <strongs number="2898">thing</strongs>of <strongs number="1834">Damascus</strongs>, <strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="1581">camels</strongs>' <strongs number="4853">burden</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">came</strongs>and <strongs number="5975">stood</strongs><strongs number="6440">before</strongs>him, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Thy <strongs number="1121">son</strongs><strongs number="1130">Ben</strongs>-hadad <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="758">Syria</strongs>hath <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs>me <strongs number="413">to</strongs>thee, <strongs number="559">saying</strongs>, Shall I <strongs number="2421">recover</strongs>of this <strongs number="4480 2483 2088">disease</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And <strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>him, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>, <strongs number="559">say</strongs>unto him, Thou mayest certainly <strongs number="2421 2421">recover</strongs>: howbeit the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="7200">showed</strongs>me <strongs number="3588">that</strongs>he shall surely <strongs number="4191 4191">die</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And he <strongs number="5975">settled</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="6440">countenance</strongs><strongs number="7760">steadfastly</strongs>, <strongs number="5704">until</strongs>he was <strongs number="954">ashamed</strongs>: and the <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="430">God</strongs><strongs number="1058">wept</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And <strongs number="2371">Hazael</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="4069">Why</strongs><strongs number="1058">weepeth</strongs>my <strongs number="113">lord</strongs>? And he <strongs number="559">answered</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">Because</strongs>I <strongs number="3045">know</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="7451">evil</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>thou wilt <strongs number="6213">do</strongs>unto the <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>: their <strongs number="4013">strongholds</strongs>wilt thou <strongs number="7971">set</strongs>on <strongs number="784">fire</strongs>, and their young <strongs number="970">men</strongs>wilt thou <strongs number="2026">slay</strongs>with the <strongs number="2719">sword</strongs>, and wilt <strongs number="7376">dash</strongs>their <strongs number="5768">children</strongs>, and rip <strongs number="1234">up</strongs>their women with <strongs number="2030">child</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'>And <strongs number="2371">Hazael</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">But</strongs><strongs number="4100">what</strongs>, <em> is </em>thy <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>a <strongs number="3611">dog</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">that</strongs>he should <strongs number="6213">do</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="1419">great</strongs><strongs number="1697">thing</strongs>? And <strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs><strongs number="559">answered</strongs>, The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="7200">showed</strongs>me that thou <em> shalt </em><em> be </em><strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs><strongs number="758">Syria</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='14'>So he <strongs number="1980">departed</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">from</strongs><strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">came</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>his <strongs number="113">master</strongs>; who <strongs number="559">said</strongs>to him, <strongs number="4100">What</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="477">Elisha</strongs>to thee? And he <strongs number="559">answered</strongs>, He <strongs number="559">told</strongs>me <em> that </em>thou shouldest surely <strongs number="2421 2421">recover</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>on the <strongs number="4480 4283">morrow</strongs>, that he <strongs number="3947">took</strongs>a thick <strongs number="4346">cloth</strongs>, and <strongs number="2881">dipped</strongs><em> it </em>in <strongs number="4325">water</strongs>, and <strongs number="6566">spread</strongs><em> it </em><strongs number="5921">on</strongs>his <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>, so that he <strongs number="4191">died</strongs>: and <strongs number="2371">Hazael</strongs><strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs>in his <strongs number="8478">stead</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And in the <strongs number="2568">fifth</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>of <strongs number="3141">Joram</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs><em> being </em>then <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, <strongs number="3088">Jehoram</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>began to <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="7970">Thirty</strongs>and <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs><strongs number="1121">old</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs>he when he began to <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs>; and he <strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs><strongs number="8083">eight</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And he <strongs number="1980">walked</strongs>in the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs><strongs number="6213">did</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>of <strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs><strongs number="1961">was</strongs>his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>: and he <strongs number="6213">did</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>Yet the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="14">would</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7843">destroy</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>for <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>his <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs>'s <strongs number="4616">sake</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>he <strongs number="559">promised</strongs>him to <strongs number="5414">give</strongs>him <strongs number="3605 3117">always</strongs>a <strongs number="5216">light</strongs>, <em> and </em>to his <strongs number="1121">children</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>In his <strongs number="3117">days</strongs><strongs number="123">Edom</strongs><strongs number="6586">revolted</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 8478">under</strongs>the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, and <strongs number="4427">made</strongs>a <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs>themselves. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>So <strongs number="3141">Joram</strongs>went <strongs number="5674">over</strongs>to <strongs number="6811">Zair</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="7393">chariots</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>him: and <strongs number="1931">he</strongs><strongs number="6965">rose</strongs>by <strongs number="3915">night</strongs>, and <strongs number="5221">smote</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="123">Edomites</strongs>which compassed him <strongs number="5437 413">about</strongs>, and the <strongs number="8269">captains</strongs>of the <strongs number="7393">chariots</strongs>: and the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="5127">fled</strongs>into their <strongs number="168">tents</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='22'>Yet <strongs number="123">Edom</strongs><strongs number="6586">revolted</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 8478">under</strongs>the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs><strongs number="5704">unto</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>. <strongs number="227">Then</strongs><strongs number="3841">Libnah</strongs><strongs number="6586">revolted</strongs>at the <strongs number="1931">same</strongs><strongs number="6256">time</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='23'>And the <strongs number="3499">rest</strongs>of the <strongs number="1697">acts</strongs>of <strongs number="3141">Joram</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>he <strongs number="6213">did</strongs>, <em> are </em><strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3789">written</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>the <strongs number="5612">book</strongs>of the <strongs number="1697 3117">chronicles</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='24'>And <strongs number="3141">Joram</strongs><strongs number="7901">slept</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>his <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, and was <strongs number="6912">buried</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>his <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>in the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>: and <strongs number="274">Ahaziah</strongs>his <strongs number="1121">son</strongs><strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs>in his <strongs number="8478">stead</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='25'>In the <strongs number="8147 6240">twelfth</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>of <strongs number="3141">Joram</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>did <strongs number="274">Ahaziah</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="3088">Jehoram</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>begin to <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='26'><strongs number="8147">Two</strongs>and <strongs number="6242">twenty</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs><strongs number="1121">old</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="274">Ahaziah</strongs>when he began to <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs>; and he <strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs><strongs number="259">one</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. And his <strongs number="517">mother</strongs>'s <strongs number="8034">name</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="6271">Athaliah</strongs>, the <strongs number="1323">daughter</strongs>of <strongs number="6018">Omri</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='27'>And he <strongs number="1980">walked</strongs>in the <strongs number="1870">way</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs>, and <strongs number="6213">did</strongs><strongs number="7451">evil</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, as <em> did </em>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="1931">he</strongs><em> was </em>the <strongs number="2860">son</strongs>-in-law of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="256">Ahab</strongs>. </verse>
