      <verse number='1'>In the <strongs number="7651">seventh</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>of <strongs number="3058">Jehu</strongs><strongs number="3060">Jehoash</strongs>began to <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs>; and <strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs><strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs>he in <strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. And his <strongs number="517">mother</strongs>'s <strongs number="8034">name</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="6645">Zibiah</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 884">Beer</strongs>-sheba. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And <strongs number="3060">Jehoash</strongs><strongs number="6213">did</strongs><em> that </em><em> which </em><em> was </em><strongs number="3477">right</strongs>in the <strongs number="5869">sight</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>his <strongs number="3117">days</strongs><strongs number="834">wherein</strongs><strongs number="3077">Jehoiada</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priest</strongs><strongs number="3384">instructed</strongs>him. </verse>
      <verse number='3'><strongs number="7535">But</strongs>the high <strongs number="1116">places</strongs>were <strongs number="3808">not</strongs>taken <strongs number="5493">away</strongs>: the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs><strongs number="5750">still</strongs><strongs number="2076">sacrificed</strongs>and burnt <strongs number="6999">incense</strongs>in the high <strongs number="1116">places</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And <strongs number="3060">Jehoash</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">All</strongs>the <strongs number="3701">money</strongs>of the dedicated <strongs number="6944">things</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>is <strongs number="935">brought</strongs>into the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <em> even </em>the <strongs number="3701">money</strongs>of every one that <strongs number="5674">passeth</strongs><em> the </em><em> account </em>, the <strongs number="3701">money</strongs>that every <strongs number="5315">man</strongs>is set <strongs number="6187">at</strongs>, <em> and </em><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="3701">money</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="5927">cometh</strongs><strongs number="5921">into</strongs>any <strongs number="376">man</strongs>'s <strongs number="3820">heart</strongs>to <strongs number="935">bring</strongs>into the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='5'>Let the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs><strongs number="3947">take</strongs><em> it </em>to them, every <strongs number="376">man</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">of</strongs>his <strongs number="4378">acquaintance</strongs>: and let <strongs number="1992">them</strongs><strongs number="2388">repair</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="919">breaches</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, <strongs number="3605 834 8033">wheresoever</strongs>any <strongs number="919">breach</strongs>shall be <strongs number="4672">found</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>But it <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><em> so, </em><em> that </em>in the <strongs number="7969">three</strongs>and <strongs number="6242">twentieth</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>of <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="3060">Jehoash</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>had <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="2388">repaired</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="919">breaches</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='7'>Then <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="3060">Jehoash</strongs><strongs number="7121">called</strongs>for <strongs number="3077">Jehoiada</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priest</strongs>, and the <em> other </em><strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="4069">Why</strongs><strongs number="2388">repair</strongs>ye <strongs number="369">not</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="919">breaches</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>? <strongs number="6258">now</strongs>therefore <strongs number="3947">receive</strongs><strongs number="408">no</strongs><em> more </em><strongs number="3701">money</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">of</strongs>your <strongs number="4378">acquaintance</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">but</strongs><strongs number="5414">deliver</strongs>it for the <strongs number="919">breaches</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='8'>And the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs><strongs number="225">consented</strongs>to <strongs number="3947">receive</strongs><strongs number="1115">no</strongs><em> more </em><strongs number="3701">money</strongs><strongs number="4480 854">of</strongs>the <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, <strongs number="1115">neither</strongs>to <strongs number="2388">repair</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="919">breaches</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>But <strongs number="3077">Jehoiada</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priest</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="259">a</strongs><strongs number="727">chest</strongs>, and <strongs number="5344">bored</strongs>a <strongs number="2356">hole</strongs>in the <strongs number="1817">lid</strongs>of it, and <strongs number="5414">set</strongs>it <strongs number="681">beside</strongs>the <strongs number="4196">altar</strongs>, on the right <strongs number="3225">side</strongs>as <strongs number="376">one</strongs><strongs number="935">cometh</strongs>into the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: and the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>that <strongs number="8104">kept</strongs>the <strongs number="5592">door</strongs><strongs number="5414">put</strongs><strongs number="8033">therein</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="3701">money</strongs><em> that </em><em> was </em><strongs number="935">brought</strongs>into the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And it <strongs number="1961">was</strongs><em> so </em>, when they <strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><em> there </em><em> was </em><strongs number="7227">much</strongs><strongs number="3701">money</strongs>in the <strongs number="727">chest</strongs>, that the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="5608">scribe</strongs>and the <strongs number="1419">high</strongs><strongs number="3548">priest</strongs>came <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>, and they put up in <strongs number="6696">bags</strongs>, and <strongs number="4487">told</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3701">money</strongs>that was <strongs number="4672">found</strongs>in the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And they <strongs number="5414">gave</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3701">money</strongs>, being <strongs number="8505">told</strongs>, <strongs number="5921">into</strongs>the <strongs number="3027">hands</strongs>of them that <strongs number="6213">did</strongs>the <strongs number="4399">work</strongs>, that had the <strongs number="6485">oversight</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: and they laid it <strongs number="3318">out</strongs>to the <strongs number="2796 6086">carpenters</strongs>and <strongs number="1129">builders</strongs>, that <strongs number="6213">wrought</strongs>upon the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, </verse>
      <verse number='12'>And to <strongs number="1443">masons</strongs>, and <strongs number="2672">hewers</strongs>of <strongs number="68">stone</strongs>, and to <strongs number="7069">buy</strongs><strongs number="6086">timber</strongs>and <strongs number="4274">hewed</strongs><strongs number="68">stone</strongs>to <strongs number="2388">repair</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="919">breaches</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and for <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>was laid <strongs number="3318">out</strongs><strongs number="5921">for</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>to <strongs number="2394">repair</strongs><em> it </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='13'><strongs number="389">Howbeit</strongs>there were <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="6213">made</strongs>for the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5592">bowls</strongs>of <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>, <strongs number="4212">snuffers</strongs>, <strongs number="4219">basins</strongs>, <strongs number="2689">trumpets</strongs>, <strongs number="3605">any</strongs><strongs number="3627">vessels</strongs>of <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs>, or <strongs number="3627">vessels</strongs>of <strongs number="3701">silver</strongs>, <strongs number="4480">of</strongs>the <strongs number="3701">money</strongs><em> that </em><em> was </em><strongs number="935">brought</strongs>into the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='14'><strongs number="3588">But</strongs>they <strongs number="5414">gave</strongs>that to the <strongs number="6213 4399">workmen</strongs>, and <strongs number="2388">repaired</strongs>therewith <strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>Moreover they <strongs number="2803">reckoned</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>the <strongs number="376">men</strongs>, <strongs number="5921">into</strongs><strongs number="834">whose</strongs><strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>they <strongs number="5414">delivered</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="3701">money</strongs>to be <strongs number="5414">bestowed</strongs>on <strongs number="6213 4399">workmen</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs><strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="6213">dealt</strongs><strongs number="530">faithfully</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>The <strongs number="817">trespass</strongs><strongs number="3701">money</strongs>and <strongs number="2403">sin</strongs><strongs number="3701">money</strongs>was <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="935">brought</strongs>into the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>: it <strongs number="1961">was</strongs>the <strongs number="3548">priests</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'><strongs number="227">Then</strongs><strongs number="2371">Hazael</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="758">Syria</strongs>went <strongs number="5927">up</strongs>, and <strongs number="3898">fought</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs><strongs number="1661">Gath</strongs>, and <strongs number="3920">took</strongs>it: and <strongs number="2371">Hazael</strongs><strongs number="7760">set</strongs>his <strongs number="6440">face</strongs>to go <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="5921">to</strongs><strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And <strongs number="3060">Jehoash</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs><strongs number="3947">took</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the hallowed <strongs number="6944">things</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs><strongs number="3092">Jehoshaphat</strongs>, and <strongs number="3088">Jehoram</strongs>, and <strongs number="274">Ahaziah</strongs>, his <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>, had <strongs number="6942">dedicated</strongs>, and his own hallowed <strongs number="6944">things</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs><em> that </em><em> was </em><strongs number="4672">found</strongs>in the <strongs number="214">treasures</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and in the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>, and <strongs number="7971">sent</strongs><em> it </em>to <strongs number="2371">Hazael</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="758">Syria</strongs>: and he went <strongs number="5927">away</strongs><strongs number="4480 5921">from</strongs><strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And the <strongs number="3499">rest</strongs>of the <strongs number="1697">acts</strongs>of <strongs number="3101">Joash</strongs>, and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="834">that</strongs>he <strongs number="6213">did</strongs>, <em> are </em><strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3789">written</strongs><strongs number="5921">in</strongs>the <strongs number="5612">book</strongs>of the <strongs number="1697 3117">chronicles</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">kings</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And his <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs><strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>, and <strongs number="7194">made</strongs>a <strongs number="7195">conspiracy</strongs>, and <strongs number="5221">slew</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3101">Joash</strongs>in the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="4407">Millo</strongs>, which goeth <strongs number="3381">down</strongs>to <strongs number="5538">Silla</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='21'>For <strongs number="3108">Jozachar</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="8100">Shimeath</strongs>, and <strongs number="3075">Jehozabad</strongs>the <strongs number="1121">son</strongs>of <strongs number="7763">Shomer</strongs>, his <strongs number="5650">servants</strongs>, <strongs number="5221">smote</strongs>him, and he <strongs number="4191">died</strongs>; and they <strongs number="6912">buried</strongs>him <strongs number="5973">with</strongs>his <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>in the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>of <strongs number="1732">David</strongs>: and <strongs number="558">Amaziah</strongs>his <strongs number="1121">son</strongs><strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs>in his <strongs number="8478">stead</strongs>. </verse>
