      <verse number='2'>And <strongs number="3379">Jeroboam</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>to his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>, <strongs number="6965">Arise</strongs>, I pray <strongs number="4994">thee</strongs>, and disguise <strongs number="8138">thyself</strongs>, <strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>be <strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="3045">known</strongs>to be the <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>of <strongs number="3379">Jeroboam</strongs>; and <strongs number="1980">get</strongs>thee to <strongs number="7887">Shiloh</strongs>: <strongs number="2009">behold</strongs>, <strongs number="8033">there</strongs><em> is </em><strongs number="281">Ahijah</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">which</strongs><strongs number="1696 5921">told</strongs>me that <em> I </em><em> should </em><em> be </em><strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs><strongs number="2088">this</strongs><strongs number="5971">people</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And <strongs number="3947">take</strongs><strongs number="3027">with</strongs>thee <strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="3899">loaves</strongs>, and <strongs number="5350">cracknels</strongs>, and a <strongs number="1228">cruse</strongs>of <strongs number="1706">honey</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">go</strongs><strongs number="413">to</strongs>him: <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>shall <strongs number="5046">tell</strongs>thee <strongs number="4100">what</strongs>shall <strongs number="1961">become</strongs>of the <strongs number="5288">child</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And <strongs number="3379">Jeroboam</strongs>'s <strongs number="802">wife</strongs><strongs number="6213">did</strongs><strongs number="3651">so</strongs>, and <strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>to <strongs number="7887">Shiloh</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">came</strongs>to the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="281">Ahijah</strongs>. But <strongs number="281">Ahijah</strongs><strongs number="3201">could</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="7200">see</strongs>; <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>his <strongs number="5869">eyes</strongs>were <strongs number="6965">set</strongs>by reason of his <strongs number="4480 7869">age</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='11'>Him that <strongs number="4191">dieth</strongs>of <strongs number="3379">Jeroboam</strongs>in the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>shall the <strongs number="3611">dogs</strongs><strongs number="398">eat</strongs>; and him that <strongs number="4191">dieth</strongs>in the <strongs number="7704">field</strongs>shall the <strongs number="5775">fowls</strongs>of the <strongs number="8064">air</strongs><strongs number="398">eat</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="1696">spoken</strongs><em> it </em>. </verse>
      <verse number='12'><strongs number="6965">Arise</strongs><strongs number="859">thou</strongs>therefore, <strongs number="1980">get</strongs>thee to thine own <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>: <em> and </em>when thy <strongs number="7272">feet</strongs><strongs number="935">enter</strongs>into the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>, the <strongs number="3206">child</strongs>shall <strongs number="4191">die</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='14'>Moreover the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall raise him <strongs number="6965">up</strongs>a <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="834">who</strongs>shall cut <strongs number="3772">off</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3379">Jeroboam</strongs><strongs number="2088">that</strongs><strongs number="3117">day</strongs>: but <strongs number="4100">what</strongs>? <strongs number="1571">even</strongs><strongs number="6258">now</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='15'>For the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>shall <strongs number="5221">smite</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>a <strongs number="7070">reed</strongs>is <strongs number="5110">shaken</strongs>in the <strongs number="4325">water</strongs>, and he shall root <strongs number="5428">up</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>out <strongs number="4480 5921">of</strongs><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="2896">good</strongs><strongs number="127">land</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>he <strongs number="5414">gave</strongs>to their <strongs number="1">fathers</strongs>, and shall <strongs number="2219">scatter</strongs>them <strongs number="4480 5676">beyond</strongs>the <strongs number="5104">river</strongs>, <strongs number="3282 834">because</strongs>they have <strongs number="6213">made</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>their <strongs number="842">groves</strongs>, provoking the LORD to <strongs number="3707 *853 3068">anger</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='16'>And he shall give Israel <strongs number="5414 *853 3478">up</strongs><strongs number="1558">because</strongs>of the <strongs number="2403">sins</strongs>of <strongs number="3379">Jeroboam</strongs>, <strongs number="834">who</strongs>did <strongs number="2398">sin</strongs>, and <strongs number="834">who</strongs>made Israel to <strongs number="2398 *853 3478">sin</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='17'>And <strongs number="3379">Jeroboam</strongs>'s <strongs number="802">wife</strongs><strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>, and <strongs number="1980">departed</strongs>, and <strongs number="935">came</strongs>to <strongs number="8656">Tirzah</strongs>: <em> and </em>when <strongs number="1931">she</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs>to the <strongs number="5592">threshold</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">door</strongs>, the <strongs number="5288">child</strongs><strongs number="4191">died</strongs>; </verse>
      <verse number='18'>And they <strongs number="6912">buried</strongs>him; and <strongs number="3605">all</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs><strongs number="5594">mourned</strongs>for him, according to the <strongs number="1697">word</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, <strongs number="834">which</strongs>he <strongs number="1696">spoke</strongs>by the <strongs number="3027">hand</strongs>of his <strongs number="5650">servant</strongs><strongs number="281">Ahijah</strongs>the <strongs number="5030">prophet</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='23'>For <strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="1129">built</strongs>them high <strongs number="1116">places</strongs>, and <strongs number="4676">images</strongs>, and <strongs number="842">groves</strongs>, <strongs number="5921">on</strongs><strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="1364">high</strongs><strongs number="1389">hill</strongs>, and <strongs number="8478">under</strongs><strongs number="3605">every</strongs><strongs number="7488">green</strongs><strongs number="6086">tree</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='25'>And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>in the <strongs number="2549">fifth</strongs><strongs number="8141">year</strongs>of <strongs number="4428">king</strongs><strongs number="7346">Rehoboam</strongs>, <em> that </em><strongs number="7895">Shishak</strongs><strongs number="4428">king</strongs>of <strongs number="4714">Egypt</strongs>came <strongs number="5927">up</strongs><strongs number="5921">against</strongs><strongs number="3389">Jerusalem</strongs>: </verse>
      <verse number='26'>And he took <strongs number="3947">away</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>the <strongs number="214">treasures</strongs>of the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>, and the <strongs number="214">treasures</strongs>of the <strongs number="4428">king</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>; he even took <strongs number="3947">away</strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>: and he took <strongs number="3947">away</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs><strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="4043">shields</strongs>of <strongs number="2091">gold</strongs><strongs number="834">which</strongs><strongs number="8010">Solomon</strongs>had <strongs number="6213">made</strongs>. </verse>
