      <verse number='10'><strongs number="378">Ish</strongs>-bosheth <strongs number="7586">Saul</strongs>'s <strongs number="1121">son</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="705">forty</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs><strongs number="1121">old</strongs>when he began to <strongs number="4427">reign</strongs><strongs number="5921">over</strongs><strongs number="3478">Israel</strongs>, and <strongs number="4427">reigned</strongs><strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>. <strongs number="389">But</strongs>the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of <strongs number="3063">Judah</strongs><strongs number="1961 310">followed</strongs><strongs number="1732">David</strongs>. </verse>

And <strongs number="3097">Joab</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Let them <strongs number="6965">arise</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='18'>And <strongs number="8033">there</strongs><strongs number="1961">were</strongs><strongs number="7969">three</strongs><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>of <strongs number="6870">Zeruiah</strongs>there, <strongs number="3097">Joab</strongs>, and <strongs number="52">Abishai</strongs>, and <strongs number="6214">Asahel</strongs>: and <strongs number="6214">Asahel</strongs><em> was </em><em> as </em><strongs number="7031">light</strongs>of <strongs number="7272">foot</strongs>as <strongs number="259">a</strongs><strongs number="834 7704">wild</strongs><strongs number="6643">roe</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>And <strongs number="6214">Asahel</strongs><strongs number="7291">pursued</strongs><strongs number="310">after</strongs><strongs number="74">Abner</strongs>; and in <strongs number="1980">going</strongs>he <strongs number="5186">turned</strongs><strongs number="3808">not</strongs><strongs number="5921">to</strongs>the <strongs number="3225">right</strongs>hand nor <strongs number="5921">to</strongs>the <strongs number="8040">left</strongs>from <strongs number="4480 310">following</strongs><strongs number="74">Abner</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='20'>Then <strongs number="74">Abner</strongs><strongs number="6437">looked</strongs><strongs number="310">behind</strongs>him, and <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <em> Art </em><strongs number="859">thou</strongs><strongs number="6214">Asahel</strongs>? And he <strongs number="559">answered</strongs>, <strongs number="595">I</strongs><em> am </em>. </verse>
