And a certain <strongs number="376">man</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 1035 3063">Bethlehem</strongs>-judah <strongs number="1980">went</strongs>to <strongs number="1481">sojourn</strongs>in the <strongs number="7704">country</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>, <strongs number="1931">he</strongs>, and his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs>, and his <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='2'>And the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="376">man</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="458">Elimelech</strongs>, and the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of his <strongs number="802">wife</strongs><strongs number="5281">Naomi</strongs>, and the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of his <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs><strongs number="4248">Mahlon</strongs>and <strongs number="3630">Chilion</strongs>, <strongs number="673">Ephrathites</strongs>of <strongs number="4480 1035 3063">Bethlehem</strongs>-judah. And they <strongs number="935">came</strongs>into the <strongs number="7704">country</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>, and <strongs number="1961">continued</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='3'>And <strongs number="458">Elimelech</strongs><strongs number="5281">Naomi</strongs>'s <strongs number="376">husband</strongs><strongs number="4191">died</strongs>; and <strongs number="1931">she</strongs>was <strongs number="7604">left</strongs>, and her <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='4'>And they <strongs number="5375">took</strongs>them <strongs number="802">wives</strongs>of the women of <strongs number="4125">Moab</strongs>; the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="259">one</strongs><em> was </em><strongs number="6204">Orpah</strongs>, and the <strongs number="8034">name</strongs>of the <strongs number="8145">other</strongs><strongs number="7327">Ruth</strongs>: and they <strongs number="3427">dwelled</strongs><strongs number="8033">there</strongs>about <strongs number="6235">ten</strongs><strongs number="8141">years</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='5'>And <strongs number="4248">Mahlon</strongs>and <strongs number="3630">Chilion</strongs><strongs number="4191">died</strongs><strongs number="1571">also</strongs><strongs number="8147">both</strongs>of them; and the <strongs number="802">woman</strongs>was <strongs number="7604">left</strongs>of her two <strongs number="4480 8147 3206">sons</strongs>and her <strongs number="4480 376">husband</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='6'>Then <strongs number="1931">she</strongs><strongs number="6965">arose</strongs>with her <strongs number="3618">daughters</strongs>-in-law, that she might <strongs number="7725">return</strongs>from the <strongs number="4480 7704">country</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>she had <strongs number="8085">heard</strongs>in the <strongs number="7704">country</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>how <strongs number="3588">that</strongs>the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>had <strongs number="6485">visited</strongs><strongs number="*853"></strongs>his <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>in <strongs number="5414">giving</strongs>them <strongs number="3899">bread</strongs>. </verse>

      <verse number='8'>And <strongs number="5281">Naomi</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto her <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="3618">daughters</strongs>-in-law, <strongs number="1980">Go</strongs>, <strongs number="7725">return</strongs><strongs number="802">each</strongs>to her <strongs number="517">mother</strongs>'s <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>: the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="6213">deal</strongs><strongs number="2617">kindly</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>you, <strongs number="834">as</strongs>ye have <strongs number="6213">dealt</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>the <strongs number="4191">dead</strongs>, and <strongs number="5973">with</strongs>me. </verse>
      <verse number='9'>The <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs><strongs number="5414">grant</strongs>you that ye may <strongs number="4672">find</strongs><strongs number="4496">rest</strongs>, <strongs number="802">each</strongs><em> of </em><em> you </em>in the <strongs number="1004">house</strongs>of her <strongs number="376">husband</strongs>. Then she <strongs number="5401">kissed</strongs>them; and they lifted <strongs number="5375">up</strongs>their <strongs number="6963">voice</strongs>, and <strongs number="1058">wept</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='10'>And they <strongs number="559">said</strongs>unto her, <strongs number="3588">Surely</strongs>we will <strongs number="7725">return</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>thee unto thy <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>. </verse>
      <verse number='11'>And <strongs number="5281">Naomi</strongs><strongs number="559">said</strongs>, Turn <strongs number="7725">again</strongs>, my <strongs number="1323">daughters</strongs>: <strongs number="4100">why</strongs>will ye <strongs number="1980">go</strongs><strongs number="5973">with</strongs>me? <em> are </em>there <strongs number="5750">yet</strongs><em> any </em><em> more </em><strongs number="1121">sons</strongs>in my <strongs number="4578">womb</strongs>, that they may <strongs number="1961">be</strongs>your <strongs number="376">husbands</strongs>? </verse>

      <verse number='15'>And she <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <strongs number="2009">Behold</strongs>, thy <strongs number="2994">sister</strongs>-in-law is gone <strongs number="7725">back</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>her <strongs number="5971">people</strongs>, and <strongs number="413">unto</strongs>her <strongs number="430">gods</strongs>: <strongs number="7725">return</strongs>thou <strongs number="310">after</strongs>thy <strongs number="2994">sister</strongs>-in-law. </verse>

      <verse number='18'>When she <strongs number="7200">saw</strongs><strongs number="3588">that</strongs><strongs number="1931">she</strongs>was steadfastly <strongs number="553">minded</strongs>to <strongs number="1980">go</strongs><strongs number="854">with</strongs>her, then she <strongs number="2308">left</strongs><strongs number="1696">speaking</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>her. </verse>
      <verse number='19'>So they <strongs number="8147">two</strongs><strongs number="1980">went</strongs><strongs number="5704">until</strongs>they <strongs number="935">came</strongs>to <strongs number="1035">Bethlehem</strongs>. And it came to <strongs number="1961">pass</strongs>, when they were <strongs number="935">come</strongs>to <strongs number="1035">Bethlehem</strongs>, that <strongs number="3605">all</strongs>the <strongs number="5892">city</strongs>was <strongs number="1949">moved</strongs><strongs number="5921">about</strongs>them, and they <strongs number="559">said</strongs>, <em> Is </em><strongs number="2063">this</strongs><strongs number="5281">Naomi</strongs>? </verse>
      <verse number='20'>And she <strongs number="559">said</strongs><strongs number="413">unto</strongs>them, <strongs number="7121">Call</strongs>me <strongs number="408">not</strongs><strongs number="5281">Naomi</strongs>, <strongs number="7121">call</strongs>me <strongs number="4755">Mara</strongs>: <strongs number="3588">for</strongs>the <strongs number="7706">Almighty</strongs>hath dealt very <strongs number="3966 4843">bitterly</strongs>with me. </verse>
      <verse number='21'><strongs number="589">I</strongs>went <strongs number="1980">out</strongs><strongs number="4392">full</strongs>, and the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath brought me home <strongs number="7725">again</strongs><strongs number="7387">empty</strongs>: <strongs number="4100">why</strongs><em> then </em><strongs number="7121">call</strongs>ye me <strongs number="5281">Naomi</strongs>, seeing the <strongs number="3068">LORD</strongs>hath <strongs number="6030">testified</strongs>against me, and the <strongs number="7706">Almighty</strongs>hath <strongs number="7489">afflicted</strongs>me? </verse>
      <verse number='22'>So <strongs number="5281">Naomi</strongs><strongs number="7725">returned</strongs>, and <strongs number="7327">Ruth</strongs>the <strongs number="4125">Moabitess</strongs>, her <strongs number="3618">daughter</strongs>-in-law, with <strongs number="5973">her</strongs>, which <strongs number="7725">returned</strongs>out of the <strongs number="4480 7704">country</strongs>of <strongs number="4124">Moab</strongs>: and <strongs number="1992">they</strongs><strongs number="935">came</strongs>to <strongs number="1035">Bethlehem</strongs>in the <strongs number="8462">beginning</strongs>of <strongs number="8184">barley</strongs><strongs number="7105">harvest</strongs>. </verse>
